The welcome was good and checkin quick. The room was on the ground floor so no stairs. A very good sized room with aircon, particularly welcome as the weather was very hot. The bed was on the hard side but OK for me. The bathroom had a bidet as well as toilet, basin and shower. Water pressure and temperature were very good. I noted central heating in the room as well as aircon so a winter visit would probably be comfortable. The location was great for me as I travelled by train and Casa Gori is almost opposite the station. It has a few parking spaces and I was able to hire a car and use one of them for free.

Not really a dislike but breakfast was provided at any of several nearby cafes and consisted of a coffee and a pastry. This was fine for me, I used Cafe Jam next to the station, excellent. But if you expect breakfast at Casa Gori you will be disappointed.

Great location near train station, ground floor room so no stairs, friendly staff, good bed (slept well), shower hot and strong pressure, simple breakfast via voucher at local cafe (good), all at very fair price.

A few mosquitoes in room, fine once dealt with, some noise intrusion from entrance hall and road, but slept very well so not a huge problem.

A charming little hotel in the heart of Tuscany. The rooms are comfortable, clean, tidy. Parking available within the facility. A typical Italian breakfast, in a nearby cafe - pastries and coffee of your choice. The town of Čertaldo, on the way from Florence to Siena, is enchanting! The beautiful nature of Tuscany that surrounds it, too! Unfortunately, we stayed for a short time, but it has all the recommendations for a wonderful, relaxing vacation in Tuscany.

The hotel is a no frills hotel and was the perfect location for a the city. Only a block from the train station, it is easy to locate and jump on to train to explore the rest of the region or the beautiful city of Certaldo. The rooms are clean and provide the everything you would need from a closet, to a refrigerator, and full bathroom. My room was small, but perfect for my needs. The staff is extremely welcoming and despite their lack of English were able to communicate effectively. There is no restaurant connected, but they provide an Italian breakfast (Coffee and a pastry) to your choice of 4 cafés around the block.

I wish I knew how to turn the AC on and that there was a screen on my window. I received a lot of mosquito bites.

Breakfast was served in a cafe across the road, a good selection of pastries and good atmosphere. The casa was cute and traditional, and the rooms were comfortable. We felt safe and found the place easily, and liked being so close to the funicular to go to the old town.

It's a little old fashioned, but it felt traditional so we didn't mind.

Very good location, beautiful old Villa, very nice staff. I particularly enjoyed the back terrace where you can sit outside.

Everything was a bit old but clean and funtional, no problem just to know what you get.

Beautifully equipped and maintained, obviously by real craftsmen /women. There is a comfortable seating area outside in the shade. Very conveniently situated very near the station with a great cafe in the same vicinity where we had breakfast.

There was no window which could be opened in our room. Other rooms do have windows which open.

Located 100 m from train station. Breakfast was a coffee or tea and a croissant or similar across the road (100m). Open from 6 or 6:30 a.m. so perfect. Outside areas very nice.ni

Room was a little noisy but it was at the front of the building. Friends who stayed in other rooms didn't have the same complaint.

Ideally located for anyone travelling by train. Clean and comfortable. Nice, older , characterful property. Helpful host. Breakfast minimal at nearby cafe, but excellent pastry and coffee. More available if you wanted to pay more. Town refreshingly populated by natives. The walk up the hill to the old town very worthwhile: views, restaurants, character.

As this is a b&b, I would have appreciated more of the "breakfast" portion. Breakfast is a coffee and criossant from a cafe located somewhere else. I never did figure out which cafe it was but this is only because I do not speak Italian. The owner did offer directions and even pointed in a direction outside but I had no idea what he was saying so I gave up haha So not his fault, but would be nice to not have to locate a cafe to get the included "breakfast"
