A little gem in Volterra, right in the heart of the medieval walled town. There is indeed a secret garden, which you can also enjoy, accessed from the apartments. With a good range of restaurants and shops nearby, as well as being within easy walking distance from transport options as well as the sights of the town, this makes a splendid base for visiting Volterra. Breakfast was also lovely, served with style in the attached dining room. The manager communicated everything in a timely manner and we were happy to have stayed there.

Alessandro the host was great, the house was super cute, and the location was top! I found funny that they left a used and almost finished toilet paper roll and made a bow with the ending. It was weird to not get a fresh one directly, but also sustainable and super curated because of the bow - it was not just forgotten there.
The breakfast was fully industrial (therefore there from the day before, at least), with no juice or yogurt etc. Perhaps because we were the only guests and it wasn’t worth having someone come to the structure that morning to bring something fresh.

Very cosy, beautifully decorated B&B in an authentic building right in the town center with a good breakfast. Good contact with the host. Covered public parking lot at just a few minutes walking distance.
Nothing to say anything negative about. Seeing as it is right in the center, take into account that you will hear the people in the street.

The central location. The lovely decor in the beautiful stone property. The very good bathroom amenities. The very friendly and accommodating staff. The tea and coffee making provision.
I was confused as to where the all night loud noise was coming from. With such thick walls, I couldn't understand how the noise was heard so loudly. I was happy though that people out there somewhere were having such a good time. 😀

Lovely spacious room with two floors one being the bedroom and first floor being the lounge, really well laid out and clean. A beautiful Italian lady was my host, she was very friendly and helpful even though she admitted to not having the best English (in my opinion she knew just enough to get the point across). Overall Excellent, will be coming back for sure.
The only thing I wasn't keen on was the early 10 departure time I always prefer the 11:00 especially on a Sunday but hay this is subjective.

We loved the property! The location of the apartment is excellent, because it is located in the city center of the old town of Volterra. You can get anywhere by walking for a few minutes. The room was very clean and well-organized. They even left small cookies for us on the shelves. The room is very romantic and the corridor looks like an artsy cave. The garden is lovely too. The breakfast was delicious. The staff we spoke to were friendly and very easy to communicate with. While we were on our way to Volterra, they gave us some valuable information about the trip and how to get to Volterra.
No negative sides whatsoever.

Location is perfectly in city centre, absolutely gorgeous view, staff extremely helpful, speak English very well.
I really cannot complain about anything, breakfast was mostly sweet, which I believe is typical in Italy so I liked that too, even though it is not usually my habit

Very comfortable rooms in a superb location. The bed was extremely comfortable. Tea and biscuits were provided in the room. The owner was welcoming and very helpful. The lights and sockets fused because the socket did not have enough power to charge my camera, but he was very understanding and came to deal with it promptly.
The breakfast was disappointing. I could not get any coffee, and the options to eat were limited and simple. Coffee pods were provided, but without instructions. I inserted them twice into the machine, but unfortunately this did not produce proper coffee. I may have done something wrong, but it would have been helpful if there had been clear instructions about how to use them or someone present to help. The rooms were also not very clearly signposted. I had to climb up the whole stairs and then ask someone in a neighbouring shop before I identified the location of the hotel. Otherwise, however, the accommodation was excellent.

We were delighted with the authentic Italian room, which obviously had a woman's touch. From the little flower on the window covering to the safe in the wall, we found it delightful! Everything smelt fresh and clean and the biscuit jar was a lovely touch. The ceiling fan also worked really well and the pillows were extremely comfortable
The breakfast room was also lovely, the decor beautiful but the breakfast was a little disappointing. No English breakfast tea bags and no fresh orange juice, just cartons from the fridge. A real shame.

I loved the place. It was small but cute, clean and warm and right in the centre of this amazing town. Highly recommended.
The walls appear to be thin and just anything can be heard from your neighbours. I am not a light sleeper, though, so I am not really complaining.
