The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good - had some variety, including fresh fruit. The view was amazing alongside the property that was covered in greenery. The pool was an added bonus but were shocked when told swim caps were mandatory in the pool - however, it was very clean.

We had only 1 small window in the bathroom, otherwise the glass door (with additional shutters) was the only natural light source. The shower setup was very poor and the bathroom flooded easily after a quick shower - the bathroom became a very slippery puddle. Also not a big fan of shower curtains. You were not able to put any items that were not purchased at the hotel in the mini fridge - the cleaning staff will throw prohibited items away. A personal safe was also not provided. Access to the hotel was not accessible by vehicle - taxis refuse to drive up the hill due to how narrow the road is. It is a steep, long climb up the hill.

Absolutely brilliant stay at Casa Adolfo. We loved every second. Perfect location, a few steps to climb, but that's how you get the knockout view of St Angelo. The owner picked us up from the bus stop (which is closer by) when we arrived, which was a nice touch. We arrived late and the pool was closed so he kindly offered to open it up for an hour for us which was so nice. Rooms are lovely, comfy beds, and power shower! The maids were lovely and kept our room spotless every day. The pool is heated with a built-in jacuzzi with a killer view. I never wanted to get out! The gardens are beautiful with an olive Grove. Lemon trees are throughout the grounds, so we made lemon water every morning. Snack bar on site is good and affordable, and there is a mini mart close by for groceries. Book this hotel, I promise you'll love it as much as we did! There is a lovely little dog and cat on site, too, which are very friendly and added to our stay. Thank you for making my stay in ischia so memorable. Don't forget to get the water taxi from St Angelo to the volcanic beach with hot sand! Bury yourself in it for 15 minutes, and all body pains go for 3 hours! Best experience ever!

The only downfall I thought was the price of the evening meal. You did get 3 courses, but it was €30 which we thought was expensive, so never got it. We just ate in restaurants and got food from the nearby mini mart. The hotel is on a hill, so there is a 5-minute walk up a bank with steps, so if you've issues with walking, you might struggle. It wasn't a problem for us, though, and we didn't mind as we had the best view in St Angelo.

First off location is ideal. The views from pool side are stunning. There are so many great areas to just relax and unwind after a beach day in sant angelo. The property grounds are lush with palm trees and lemon trees and many others plants that have been growing since the early 1980’s. You can tell right away that the property is well maintained and clean. Francesco his wife and staff are wonderful. They go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful vacation. The rooms are more than adequate. The air conditioning is super powerful and keeps the room at a nice and chilly temperature if that is what you are looking for. The daily breakfast is fresh and plentiful and most importantly delicious. The coffee is wonderful. Caffe latte or cappuccino is excellent. There are toasters if you like your bread toasted which is a great touch by Italian standards. The breakfast areas are wonderful. Choices of meats and cheese. 4 different types of breads. Plentiful of fresh fruits and croissants and cakes and other goodies. Cereals and yogurts. Different jams and crackers. There are also 4 different types of juices. Each one better than the other. The man working in the breakfast area is exceptional. In ending. The walk to and from Saint Angelo beach is one we will never forget. The views are out of this world. Casa Adolfo was great, we had wonderful time there. This place is nicer than in the photos. Do not hesitate to book diners there, food is awesome, every day we were looking forward to dinner. People are nice, everything is clean, pool was warm and pleasant for swimming even in may and is surrounded by nice garden with very nice view and many deckchairs. We had also great view from our room and the terrase.

We vacationed here with our family and were very pleased. The entire hotel area is divided into zones, so even with a large crowd of people no one disturbed each other. Very friendly staff - from the kitchen staff to the cleaners We could always get what we wanted. We will have very pleasant memories.

The only thing I wish was that the water in the general pool was cooler. In such heat I wanted to cool off, it was not always possible to get to the sea, and the temperature in the pool was very warm

Overall we really liked Hotel Casa Adolfo. The location was great just near Cava Grado bus station which was really good as we didn’t have a car. The hotel has great vibes, and the views were beautiful. Our room and communal spaces were also very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was really good quality and with a nice choice of savory and sweet options. Everybody was really nice and we had a great time in Ischia.

Beautiful surroundings, gardens, lots of loungers, and chairs to rest. The location is excellent as very close to town and bus station. Delicious breakfast, always fresh ingredients, and homemade delicious cakes. We left early in the morning, and we were given sandwiches, fruit, and water for the road. Would definitely stay again if visiting this beautiful island.

The hotel was amazing value. Lovely staff, great views, tranquil setting. If you think you might use the pool, you'll need a swim cap of some sort but you can buy one at reception for €2. Quite a few little beaches within walking distance for snorkeling and swimming. The hotel lunchtime menu was great value for money and the optional three course evening meal was wonderful and plenty of it for €25. Would go again for sure.

The walk up the hill/steps to get to the hotel, but then without that you wouldn't have the fantastic views!

We loved everything about the casa - breakfast was fulfilling, there is the possibility of very good dinners. Nearby quite peaceful beach (near the bus stop), a pool with very good views, comfortable rooms and very helpful and friendly stuff - all together made our stay so perfect, that we would next time go back and stay longer :)

We loved absolutely everything here: Starting with the husband and wife owners who work hard from the first hour of the morning until late at night. It is a bit of a climb from the bus station to the hotel. But easy, nothing to be afraid of! And yet, because we had luggage, the owner brought us from the bus station to the Hotel with a kind of electric tuk-tuk. He did the same on his way out. Very clean rooms. Very good breakfast. Dream view. The swimming pool. Garden . Very good restaurant with convenient prices. Very polite staff and ready to serve you at any moment. Very close to the harbor and the main attractions of Saint Angelo. I don't have enough words to thank you! We will definitely come back here!
