A comfortable, well-priced room in the vibrant Chiaia district, in a building with secure, monitored access; a great location in front of the city park that runs along the waterfront; and walking distance to metro (and further connections), Via Chiaia, Via Toledo, etc. A bit of noise from a bar/club next door, but the music ends at a reasonable hour in the evening. Management is friendly and responsive to guests' concerns.

My room's bathroom had a split-level floor, which was easy to forget about, especially in the middle of the night in the dark, and I came close to injuring myself or falling a couple of times. I think this kind of situation occurs often in old buildings in Italy that have been retrofitted with bathrooms, so it's just something to be aware of when traveling. Once I became accustomed to it, it wasn't a problem.

The room it’s a bit small, but it’s pretty okay to fit in 2 ppl. Air conditioning is a lifesaver in the summer in Italy, I want to point out that the room service is brilliant, the cleaner even fold clothes and wire our chargers on the table. I’m very thankful for that. There are two balconies located in our room which is pretty nice for the Seaview. The staffs are really friendly and helpful.

the only thing is the checking time is a little bit late but everything else was perfect:)

We stayed at the Barbarella Home Hotel between the 7th and 14th May 2024. Here is our opinion of the hotel… Positives • Very friendly and helpful staff particularly Janis • Average to good housekeeping. • Fair sized room with a high ceiling and reasonably well maintained. • Nice bathroom and brilliant shower. • Great WiFi, fast with a reliable connection • Great Air Conditioning which was very easy to use. • All the rooms were on the 1st floor with easy access from the road via stairs. There may have been a lift but we did not spot it. • Location of the hotel is relatively close to the Naples Metro system and only a few hundred metres away from the sea. • Comfortable bed and pillows • “Juliet” style balcony window. • Kettle and fridge • Excellent proximity to cafes, restaurants, parks and the bay of Naples. • Good value for money.

Negatives Road Noise. This is not a direct fault of the hotel simply a function of its location. It got particularly bad on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. The constant pipping of horns even throughout the night made sleeping very disturbed. Closing the window and shutters helped a bit but the noise still came through. There were no breakfast or restaurant facilities, however directly below the hotel was a wonderful café called Gran Bar Riviera which was excellent for breakfast and lunch.

Very clean and good location. The bathroom was very spacious and cool, which was very much appreciated.

It would be nice to have glasses to drink water already provided in the room, without having to ask the receptionist. It is a hassle to comunicate with the staff as they barely speak Italian or even English, but they were trying to be as helpful as they could.

The place is close to the beach, you just need to cross a street and a small park. Rooms are clear, air conditioner works fine, it is not that loud even though windows are faced to street, it did not bother our sleep. Bathroom is quite convenient as well. Even though we arrived in a city much earlier than the check-in time, we were allowed to leave our luggage while we travel around the city waiting for check-in time.

On check-in time there were no administrator, so we had to wait for a 30-40 minutes. It is not such a problem, but when we tried to call an administrator, we could not do it as well, nobody was answering. Just be prepared, it can happen this way, but you will be checked in.

Clean, cosy, lovely room with a huge bathtub. As for amenities, we got toothbrush with toothpaste as well as body soaps, shower caps. Smooth wifi connection. As the hotel is on the first floor, it is not high enough to get the sea view - it is true that windows are on the sea side, but there is a park with trees between the hotel and the seashore. Gentleman at the reception was extremely kind and helpful, delighted our stay, thank you! Hotel has a very good location, 2 min walk from the bus stop or 8 min walk for the metro/train station, in safe and quiet area. I recommend this hotel.

Very well located, close to both the historic center and the waterfront, on a quiet street, next to a cafe where breakfast can also be served. Access from the central station both by bus (line 151) and by metro (line 2). The staff is very kind and friendly (with a special mention for Elisa). The rooms are large and clean, equipped with AC and refrigerator.

Room was very large with 12ft ceilings and lots of natural light from 2 doors to a narrow balcony with seating. Bathroom was huge. Really a beautiful room and very clean all in white. The two large doors to the balcony were amazing and soundproof. The balcony looked over a very busy street and restaurant directly below it

Nothing that the hotel could do about it. But being that close to the ocean with only a view of the street kinda bummed me out. From google maps you'd assume a decent view of the park at the very least. The god send were the doors. It was incredibly loud with the doors to the balcony open but the moment you closed them, you'd never know were on the street. The seating on the balcony was a nice thought but it being such a busy street, you can't really take advantage of it. Besides that the only other complaint was the mattress was pretty hard.

Location is very convenient, 10 min walk to the metro, bus stop right next to the place, nice confectionery right below and location is within a safe, rather expensive district of Naples. Property staff was very helpful and super nice.

I've got a brand new soap every single day even if I haven't finished the previous one and didn't need a new one - that seems very wasteful to me

The decoration and the cleanliness of the room. The staff, especially the person at the reception, were super nice and welcoming, very helpful. The location was perfect, easily accessible by walk or by metro (the station Piazza Amadeo is very close by). There are lots of places around to eat (Osterias and Trattorias) and lots of boutiques as well. The neighbourhood is 'chic', and that gives a break from the crowded city centre.

Maybe the check in time is a bit late, but there was the possibility to leave the luggage at the reception so it was not a big issue
