If I could rate it over 10 I would The location was perfect. The view sublime. The accommodation comfortable and spotlessly clean. Raffaele our host was the most perfect hotel owner He took into account all our needs within a few hours he knew our morning drink preferences, and the time we wanted breakfast On the night I was extremely poorly he contacted the doctor and delivered medication at 2am Regularly checking all the next day to make sure I was getting better. This is a hotel we will definitely be revisiting When you read the reviews yes the showers are a little small but the water is hot and plentiful and they are clean Yes it’s a short walk up a hill from the metro But it’s so worth it. A huge thanks to raffaele and his team

Breakfast included was very nice. Comfortable beds. Nice views. The staff was very nice too. They let us let the luggage there before the che lin.

The location was very good, with many restaurants nearby. The neighborhood was very pretty and felt safe. The subway was within walking distance. The room was large with a balcony overlooking the neighborhood.

There was no one onsite overnight, which made it difficult to ask questions, get directions and order cabs. We were only there for one night and left before breakfast was available in the morning. It would have been nice to at least have coffee available via a machine and maybe a few packaged snacks.

Villa Margherita is situated in a beautiful suburb of Napoli. There are fantastic dining options all around, some just a five minute walk away. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to accommodate needs. The view of the ocean is not horizon-filling, but still very picturesque and satisfying. Raphael serves nice coffee and pastries in the morning free of charge, and the cleaning staff are very thorough and restock the minifridge with still and sparkling water. Unlike a lot of the AC units I've encountered in Italy, the ones here are very effective.

The curving hill to and from Piazza Amadeo (the station you will want to go to if you intend to travel by rail) is very sharp and paved in archaic and uneven mini-cobblestones. You do not want to face this hill with suitcases. I would recommend a taxi for your initial trips to and from Napoli Centrale, then use the Metro for all your travels inbetween. Also there is an unbelievably bright 'exit' light above the room door, you may feel like you are being abducted by aliens at night. I would recommend packing a little tape and a thick piece of paper, you can get up on a chair and cover the light up for the duration of your stay. Very minor gripe but not ideal if you are a light-sensitive sleeper.

Tiny shower the bathroom left much to be desired. Also as we left early for tours no one at the desk to help us with taxis and such.

Incredible view and the staff were really sweet. They brought coffee and pastries to our room on the mornings we were around, and brought our deliveries to the door. Felt like a home away from home.

The shower needs updating, it leaked from the sides every time, and was way too small. Occasional smell of sewage at night and early morning (but this is Naples in general). There is a rumbling from the funicolare throughout the night which may be an issue for light sleepers.

Rafafele made our stay at the hotel very enjoyable. He insisted on making my cappuccino every morning and the fresh pastries were delicious. The shower was very small but plenty of hot water and all the necessary soaps and lotions. There were several excellent restaurants walking distance from the hotel. If you like walking. Rafafele also made taxi reservations for our group and was outside when the taxi arrived ensuring we got off okay. Excellent service.

The property is well positioned, walking distance to the city centre and 5 mins walk from station piazza Amedeo which can bring you to the main stations and pretty much everywhere around Naples. The property is very cleaned, with air con, well equipped with all essentials you need. We had an amazing room with a big terrace facing the sea, we had breakfast there every morning, nice cappuccino and Neapolitan pastries brought by Raffaele (free of charge) it was an amazing start of the day. Raffaele has been great giving advices on where to go and where to eat, he gave us nice recommendations on restaurants which we tried and wow, very very nice food and service. We will back to Naples because is an amazing city and we will definitely stay at Villa Margherita again.

The hotel is located in a nice area. From the balcony we could see the sea. The rooms, though furnished basically, are very large and clean. Even if the breakfast was not included, they offer every morning coffee, tea and pastry products. In proximity there is a metro station, but there is a hill that needs to be climbed to reach to the hotel. Also there is a bus station nearby and a couple of restaurants on 10 minutes walking distance.

The shower cabin was a little to small but not to small so a medium person will fit in.

Rooms were beautiful and spacious, quite close to the train station and restaurants
