We loved everything about La Sommita! Such a wonderful experience from the moment we are greeted at the parking lot, even before stepping into the hotel to the moment we left! The warmth, the professionalism and the great authentic hospitality of everyone was simply wow! The hotel is beautiful, simple and yet very elegant and charming, and the team helped us in booking the wine tasting, the olive tasting and the bike ride through the olive fields! Make sure to try their massage! So worth it! The breakfast delicious! The highlight of our trip to Puglia! We fell in love with Ostuni and we know for sure that La Sommita was the reason! Thank you!

Everything was magical!

Very friendly and helpful staff . Could not fault any of the people we dealt with. Very clean rooms, linen and comfortable bed. We were upgraded when we arrived which was delightful . The room we were in was large with bed and bath and basin upstairs and bathroom, WC , table and couch downstairs . Cooling system great but we didn’t need it in at night as cooler weather atm. Breakfast was amazing , they had everything and pretty good coffee. We didn’t eat dinner there but it looked nice. We only stayed 2 nights and pre booked some restaurants. We had narrow view all the way to the ocean which was lovely. Parking was organised by the hotel outside the old town for 18€ a day . They kindly shuttled us to the hotel from there and back when we left. There’s a mini bar .

If I had to be picky then I’d say there was no tea making facilites .

Splendid hotel in the best part of Ostuni in our view. Really unusual layout, full of character and class. Incredible views from the roof terrace and a really excellent breakfast. The parking arrangements were very slick and the ride up to the hotel a joy. Wonderful bar a few yards from the hotel (Gipas 111) was a real treat at night too and the restaurants in the area (including the hotel’s own one) are top-class. We’ll be back, no doubt!

the room was very comfortable, with a lot of space. friendly staff the accessibility of the hotel is difficult due to Ostuni traffic regulation but the hotel is offering has a complimentary transfer service which is super nice.

- Parking is additional 18€/day - Breakfast could be further improved with more cooking on demand options (currently only eggs you way with bacon are offered) - Beverage on display in the room seem complimentary but are not in fact (a bit misleading) - Baby crib is a paid option (35€/day) which we found super greedy in a 5 stars hotel. - In room service is additional charge of 15€ with a very limited menu option. Overall beware of the hidden costs.

This is a wonderful property on top of hill in Ostuni. views from room were amazing. The staff was fabulous, really top notch from arrival (0pickup via shuttle taxi/ motorbike ) to warm greeting and service throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and airy, with gorgeous views to the oven below. We took advantage of the balconies to get some air and take in the view of the surrounding pool and hotel as well as the amazing view to the water. Breakfast was a delicious spread, and the restaurant was excellent with a Michelin star quality lunch and experience. overall highly recommended.

just a little confusion on how to approach and where to park, but a call to the front desk -actually a WhatsApp message - took care of giving us the details on where to meet for taxi shuttle pickup.

Location, service, amenities. Spa treatment was excellent. Breakfast was amazing. Cinthia at the front desk was excellent! She recommended so many things and even got us a dinner reservation at a restaurant that was booked. She is wonderful!!

Need more hooks in the bathroom. There isn’t really a bar area with barstools or places to sit

Absolute unique and stunning property located in the heart of Ostuni with spectacular views of the surrounding city. Make sure to book the tasting menu at Cielo the hotels restaurant. All the food was amazing and the staff were exceptional. Everyone went out of their way to help us sort plans and enjoy each moment.

Simply lived up to all expectations. Meet and greet at collection point very timely. Vanessa at reception experienced and professional. Body massage from lady in spa was exceptional. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast delicious. Well worth the money. Happy to recommend.

Hotel is located at the very top of Ostuni, where there are less tourists (comppared to the plaza where Comune Di Ostuni is located). when yo uwalk around the closest area it is quite calm (unless it is dinner time) Delicious breakfast with some of the best cakes I have ever eaten. Parking available for the guests with parking transfer was great fun. There was no problem to leave the luggage after check out with the hotel for the last walk. Superb hotel, would recommend it!

Breakfast was excellent. Location was perfect. The room was very quiet. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Room was like a cave, with the bed up some stairs. There was a small window, but it was very high up in the top of the room.
