The pool area in the centre of the hotel is beautiful, with lots of brightly coloured flowers climbing up the walls. The loungers were comfortable and clean pool towels are provided. The view from the restaurant and some of the rooms down over the town and out to sea is also lovely. The breakfast was great each day and the staff were helpful.

The aircon in the bedrooms was old and fairly useless. We had to change rooms as our first room was too hot and we didn't sleep at all on our first night. Our second room was marginally better. They keep the Aircon set at a much higher temp and only if you speak to reception can they turn it down to a more acceptable level for you. I'm all for saving energy but it was 40° outside. They also only provide one very hard and thin pillow per person so we had to ask for more pillows. The hotel is at the top of a very steep hill which you can kind of see from the pictures but we hadn't quite appreciated what that would be like to walk up from town in the heat.

The hotel was as we expected and even more. The staff is very friendly and when we asked to upgrate our room they did it for free which was a nice surprise for us. The rooms on a second floor dont have their own balconies, instead they share an open balcony-coridor but our room was at the end of that coridor and was isolated with a little wicket, we had a table and two chares there and cIould sit and enjoy the beautiful see view. The hotel has a nice swimming pool that was cleaned every night. Every day the staff did some works on constat maintenance of the hotel and its territory which was nice to see. There are two big supermarkes around the corner and the walking distance to the city center or to the closest beach is about 15 mins down the hill. We did not use the free shuttles offered by the hotel as it was easy for us to walk but it is still a great posibility for those people who need help. In overall the hotel itself is very beautiful, fully covered by flowers, the rooms are clean and the restaurant has a terraceI with an amasing view.

Breakfast was all the time the same. It has enough varity for different types of taste but no varity within one. Same fruits, same bread, same veggies, yogurs, eggs, etc. When the hotel shampoo bottles were finished we did not get new ones.

Fabulous breakfast. Very clean room and swimming pool. Safety deposit box build in the wall - very safe. Good restaurant and bar at the hotel. Excellent coffee. Other restaurants 15 min walk. Supermarket at the corner. Free shuttle bus to the beach. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Special thank you for Giovanni and Arthuro at the reception. Close to ferry to La Maddalena. Ferry tickets are cheaper 30% if you buy it the day before.

Matteo (spelling?) Was first rate, very giving of his time regarding all the info we needed. A real hospitality professional and a gentleman.

Loved everything. Only stayed one night with bikes but had a great time. Enjoyed the complimentary drink in room and massage. Pool area was lovely. Restaurant was brilliant and staff so friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious. Our room had brilliant views over the bay to Maddelena and we could park our bikes outside in our courtyard bit. Hope to return one day.

The location was beautiful, a bit of a walk but the views were stunning and it was close to a supermarket. The room was large and we had complementary fruit and champagne on arrival. We had breakfast and dinner each night, dinner was 4 courses and a different menu each time! We were some of the last guests to stay before end of season so it was very quiet but the staff still made a great effort to help us have a nice stay. They were all very helpful.

Beautiful gardens and pool

Staff very attentive. A bit over staffed as dishes etc whipped away v quickly , sometimes before even finished. Yet with all the staff so much food in packets and sachets. Even breakfast honey in a little sachet !! Not environmentally friendly.

Old world charm with beautiful views. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. A lovely experience to stay here. The food in the restaurant was great too. And we were greeted with complimentary prosecco on our first afternoon.

The view is spectacular, the hotel is perfectly located in a quite street with enough (free) parking places available. The hotel staff is really friendly, the kids enjoyed in the swimming pool and looked forward every morning for again a delicious breakfast.

The food at the restaurant was totally amazingly tasty. Apart from that, the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. We even received a welcoming bottle of prosecco upon arrival that waited for us in a Cooler in the Room- This nicely surprised us. The stuff was very helpful and gave us all the information and support we needed.

No elevator for the baby trolley.
