The view from the Villa, the facilities in the apartment, the big garden, the staff very attentive and professional, the possibility to get a relaxing massage directly in the Villa. The sunbads and ombrellas reserved for the resort at the beach are in a private area and there is a wide space between the different spots. The staff at the beach is also very attentive.

If you want to go by walk to the beach, the climbing from beach to the villa is quite challenging, especially in the heat. A regular beach service with the mini golf car around the resort would be a plus. The music at the beach is continuous. It would be nice to hear sometimes only the sound of the waves of the sea.

We have seen quite some locations on Sardinia by now. This one is good, but definitely not superb. The location at the beach is wonderful, and Palau is quite nearby. The appartment was clean and staff was friendly. The appartment is spacious and the garden is big enough to let the children do their thing. The outdoor shower is a plus. So is the private barbecue. The AC in every main room works well (but we only used it for heating). Furniture is comfortable. The shower is also good. Too bad the beach club was not open yet, because I think this might be a big plus, looks beautiful.

I expected somewhat more. The pictures don't say enough about the specific villa. We only had sea view if we stood up, because the hedge blocks the view. Biggest flaw was the kitchen, mainly the kitchen utensils. At home, for example, I do mind about worn down frying pans. I did not use them in the villa, because they where way to damaged according to my standards. The kitchen itself is so-so. There was lack of those little details that make the difference. The mattresses were not comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at Le Ville Le Saline. The service was excellent from start to finish – warm, professional, and always available. Special thanks to Manager Fierovente for the warm welcome and to Maddalena for her outstanding hospitality. The support we received was exceptional. The villas are spacious, spotlessly clean, and ideal for families. The resort is beautifully maintained, easily accessible, and offers a wonderful sense of privacy. The private beach is a real highlight, and the on-site Restaurant/Bar (Mali Beach Bar) offers a very good breakfast and convenient F&B options during the day. The location is perfect: just minutes from central Palau, 30 minutes to Porto Cervo, and an hour from Olbia Airport. Also a few minutes from the Port of Palau, with direct ferry access to Maddalena Island. All in all, a wonderful resort and a great accommodation choice for families visiting this part of Sardinia. Highly recommended!

Not a negative comment, but If there's one small area for improvement, it would be to offer basic room service or a simple delivery option from the Mali Bar to the villas—especially since the bar closes at 10 PM. A light F&B offering (water, drinks, snacks) available later in the evening would make the experience even more seamless for families who prefer to stay in their Villa after a long day of exploring.

The view, the view! Fantastic views over the Mediterranean Sea from the kitchen, bedroom and outdoor area. Very quiet and calm place all around, just a few minutes away from all what you need. Access to a nice private beach and a little bar/restaurants area just down the road. The villa was clean with all the basics in place. You get a few nice sun beds, outdoor furniture. Inside you get what's needed to prepare breakfast and easy meals. Big plus for a proper dishwasher and gas cook top. Great staff in the reception, very helpful and supportive guiding us to local beaches and restaurants. They were also flexible and supportive with our late check-in. The local area and nature is amazing.

To stay here you are pretty much dependent on having a rental car. The nearest town with supermarkets, cafes and restaurants is 5-6 min easy drive away. Just be aware about this. Even thou you get all the basics you need to cook and use the great villa for the first day or two of your stay, you need to purchase or bring everything from coffee capsuals, soaps to toilet paper etc. Free wifi is next to useless. Also be aware of the adress on booking.com might show you the resort next door. Search for Resort Villa La Salin on Google Maps and you'll get to the right place

The view from the villa was stunning. The garden is well maintained with good condition grass The beach outside had a very friendly staff and good cuisine

The facility is old. The kitchen has no « modern » coffee machine. The dishwasher was not working, power button was broken. The shower shower head was broken and was loose. The curtains in the bedroom were not opaque. The barbecue outside is just a piece of concrete and a grill which is not convenient. The daily cleaning was lacking professionalism, nothing was done, no sweeping, no trash removing, no soap refill. Just the bed was done. The outdoor terrasse floor was dirty and our feet were black after stepping onto it. Unfortunately some construction site was just in front of our house. The beach bar/restaurant was closed after 8pm which did not leave any close option for dinner. The closest supermarket is not at walking distance and needs 10min driving.

This vilas resort is very beautiful. The small houses are very close to the sandy beach where the sea even in the middle of October was beautiful to swim. The vila we had was absolutely private place where we had a lot of calm and relaxing time. We enjoyed staying there very much. Tha place is very close to the centre of Palau so we took a one day yacht trip around La Maddalena which was also very nice and I higly recommend it.

Only one thing, I would add more basic food like salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea. There was only little bit of salt and pepper and it wasn´t enough for 3 days. There was no coffee.

We were so pleasantly surprised with our stay! The villa is on a lovely complex, with privacy and stunning vistas. The beds, rooms and bathrooms were great and the apartment had all the things we needed. The staff were brilliant, very communicative and so helpful, even helped ship a lost item back to us. We loved the sun loungers out front and being able to walk down and enjoy the beach club. We looked at so many hotels/Airbnbs in the area and they all seem to be priced very high for what you get. We thought our villa was a gem off the beaten path - peaceful and easy to get to Palau from. Would definitely recommend for friends and couples! Notes: - The sun beds on the beach are only for a nearby hotel; you get free access to sun beds behind a short stone wall behind them as a villa guest (the beach club is lovely). - Mosquitoes are out per usual - Late check in is for a fee (they state this but we missed it)

The sofa wasn’t the comfiest but we hardly spent time in the living room so not an issue!

I wish this place was hidden gem, but our stay was so excellent that I have to review it. From reception staff showing us everything and being most welcoming, to the equipment of the villa - kitchen, washer, very comfy beds, beach towels, sunbeds.. to the close beach with most accommodating bar staff. Le Saline also has a private part of the beach with umbrellas and sunbeds.. You can also rent windsurf or paddleboard in the nearby camp. And we highly recommend visiting nearby Palau and rent a boat :) thank you for having us, we will be back :)

This is definitely a little hidden gem in Sardinia. The resort sets in a beautiful and quiet area with over view of the sea. Large sandy beach is within a few mins walking distance, really clean and private. You can also walk across the rocks and find little hidden small beaches between rocks. Kids had a great fun playing there. The Villa is perfect, large garden, big rooms across the kitchen, bedrooms and toilet and shower for each room too! It has everything you need to stay in or go out. The view from the villa is incredible, it is super calming each morning when we woke up and look at the mountains and ocean connecting with each other. The staff are exceptional, from the minute you arrive throughout the whole stay. We left our passports and ID in the safe, they called immediately and kept them safe until we return. We are extremely grateful for their honesty and kindness.
