Just a stunning boutique hotel with lovely decor and stunning pool and sun lounge areas. Rooms were really stylish and housekeeping was excellent with a turn down service in the evenings. The cleaning staff deserve special recognition as the whole hotel is kept immaculate including the pool areas. Maddalena really is a jewel in the Archipelago of NE Sardinia and the location of the Ma & Ma was great with nearby beach and a pleasant 20 minute walk into the charming town with plenty of bars and restaurants.

Rooms don’t have tea or coffee making facilities. Main restaurant too expensive and focussed on sea food for the island when compared to restaurants in Maddalena although there was a very good pizzeria adjacent to the hotel which was reasonably priced though . The price of drinks at the poolside bar was off putting with locally produced Sardinian beer being almost 8 times the price that it is in the supermarket. Disappointing also was the single bottle of complimentary water (for 2 of us in the room) on arrival which was not replaced daily.

This luxury hotel offers great facilities. Besides spacious rooms, a nice Spa and outside pool it is especially the garden which really stands out. This beautiful natural lounge area has magnificent views on the surrounding Archipelago. Furthermore, the breakfast is absolutely 5 stars and the hotel restaurant ‘Isola’ also delivers great quality food choices. Nearby the hotel is the MaMa pizza place as a second place to eat. We had a great time.

The gym facilities are very limited at Ma&Ma and it’s pricey to drink at the Bar in the pool/garden area. Furthermore, there are no nice beaches near the hotel. Punta Tegge is rocky so don’t expect white sand beaches.

Great room, brilliant pool with fabulous bean bag type sun loungers, excellent breakfast ( go before the rush at 10am !! ) but above all else the wonderful, helpful & friendly staff … & try MaMa pizza restaurant too

Both the bar and the dining room interiors need a complete redesign. Their bland, modernist look is as welcome as a hospital waiting room and both are completely at odds with the rest of the hotel. But don’t let that put you off your stay; the food is excellent plus there are plenty of fabulous restaurants in the town for dinner too.

Such a great stay in La Maddalena! While the hotel has been there for 10 years already, we couldn’t believe it as everything looks brand new. We were welcomed with a Prosecco glass and throughout our stay the staff always made sure we were taking the best of our experience. The room is spacious, bed is comfortable, shower is great. Breakfast has lots of options and there’s also a light lunch option, besides dinner in their own restaurant or pizza place. The pool and chilling areas are absolutely amazing as well as their SPA that definitely worths a visit. We loved every second of it!

Some people might find it a little bit outside the center area. We took a taxi to go out for dinner and it was completely okay. During the day you can also simply walk.

It was very peaceful, within walking distance of La Maddalena town, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. There are plenty of breakfast choices with good service. The pool area was secluded and beautifully maintained. The spa was well appointed. The boat cruise and taxi services offered by the hotel were very good. Toiletries were of high quality.

There were no full-length mirrors in my room. The bathroom lighting wasn't sufficient enough to put on makeup.

Room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good! Short walk to beaches and the coast.

A little tacky and over the top, seemed like much more of a renovated motel than a resort. The pool was open strange hours and closed by (I think) 6:30pm. Not far from town, but not necessarily walkable back and forth, which isn't an issue, except that parking in town is nearly impossible. We ordered dessert from room service one night, which was typical room service pricing, but the portion was shockingly small (like, 3 bites of cheesecake).

The hotel and spa was amazing, awesome pool and lounge area. The hotel was very accommodating with my special request for my wife's BD on arrival. (they even reminded me and timed welcome drinks, etc. on check in) That was much appreciated. Presidential Suite with Private Hot Tub is pricey but a great option for a romantic stay.

The resort does not have direct beach access and the beaches that are near are small and super busy during high season (July/August) The main resturant closes at early and would not take a reservation past 8 pm.

We loved la Maddalena islands - it was possible to walk into the town from the hotel in about 30 minutes which was a good option in the evening. The beaches and town area on the island are beautiful. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing and the pool area was nice and clean. Our room was also very clean - and we appreciated the dressing gowns and towels!

The drinks were very expensive - which we understand for a cocktail but it felt unreasonable for beers and wine, especially as we’ve stayed at multiple other hotels in Sardinia over the last couple weeks and there was always an option for a cheaper beer/wine. The hotel style felt a little more corporate rather than comfortable.

The hotel is more than walking distance from La Maddalena, it is a modern building a bit strangely located, no beach but a small swimming pool at the back of the hotel, the staff is very polite and welcoming, the breakfast buffet is very good, with some local specialties of high standard (cheese for instance, butter biscuits, etc), the rooms are with a very nice finish, high quality furniture and faucets.

The welcome cocktail is poor, it is the design of the rear area with the pool and the small garden that I found disappointing, otherwise the service level is faultless.

breakfast is overcrowded and seated extremely close to each other a smile from stuff seems to be prohibited shower with strange water drain in the middle being anyways all the time under the water quite far from the town
