My husband and I booked Hotel Balocco for the second leg of our honeymoon and I'm so glad we did! It absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. First of all, the staff was incredible throughout our stay. They were kind and informative -- helping us secure a scooter and providing recommendations for meals and activities. The pool is beautiful -- even better than the pictures -- with a pretty insane view of the sea below. There's a fitness center (indoor/outdoor) just below the pool deck that has everything you need. The food at all of the restaurants onsite -- particularly the poolside restaurant which hosts the breakfast -- is fabulous. Parking onsite if you have a car but I'd also highly recommend considering a scooter rental during your stay. We took ours to dinner, shops and the beach every day. The hotel partners with a company that will drop one off and pick it up right from the hotel. We will be coming back!

We really loved everything!

Hotel Balocco was a wonderful place to stay in Porto Cervo. The staff were incredibly supportive and helpful throughout our visit. They provided excellent restaurant recommendations, assisted us with reservations, and even helped arrange a car hire — which is essential when visiting Porto Cervo and Sardinia. Their warm hospitality made our stay smooth and enjoyable.

The only small drawback was that the pool didn’t open until 11 a.m., which was a little different from other places we stayed, but hardly a real negative.

This hotel was lovely. The staff was so helpful, especially Roberto and Augustino. They are at your disposal for everything- arranging transportation, making dinner reservations, recommendations, etc. Breakfast was very good and the gym equipment was good as well. The location is close to just about everything. Our room was huge with a beautiful view. We were kindly upgraded to the junior sweet at no extra charge.

Gym could get a bit too hot since it was outside but they had a fan that helped a bit. Pool could be open a bit earlier to accommodate an early morning swim since the gym was hot. It would have helped to know earlier on that there was a free taxi boat from the marina to Porto cervo village. It wasn’t until a day or so into our stay that I was informed about this and I had been emailing back and forth about transportation tips a week in advance of our stay.

We absolutely loved this hotel. They went above and beyond with booking dinners, organising boat tours and beaches. Tina on reception is absolutely incredible. She organised everything for us and had a smile on her face every day. Everyone at the hotel including the staff for breakfast were exceptional. The staff around the pool amazing as well. 10 out of 10 we loved this hotel

The property surpassed my expectations, it looks even more beautiful in reality than the photos on web . The costal and minimalist decor really appealed to me and made it unique . We had a triple room 304 which was very big and at pool level with a nice terrace and two full bathrooms which we weren’t expecting . The sceneries and the landscaping from this hotel was fabulous. But what was even more enjoyable ,was how pleasant and helpful the staff at Hotel Balocco was , starting with the reception staff Augustino and Roberto and the breakfast staff ,Luciano and Evalyn, just to name a few but all staff were courteous and friendly. Their restaurants and site recommendations were spot on . We spent 6 nights at this wonderful place and were sad to leave . The breakfast that was included was plentiful and delicious fresh fruit , baked goods ,eggs cheeses and meats as well as cereals and yogurts and homemade jams . They even have their own bio garden . Also a small gym overlooking beautiful vistas and massages and beauty spa . It was the best venue to visit Costa Smeralda, based near the beautiful town of Porto Cervo .

My wife and I are serial vacationers and this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! Comfortable bed and pillows. Easy access to the HDMI on the TV! The view of pool/Porto Cervo was amazing from the balcony in our room. ALL the staff we encountered were amazing. The food by the pool was off the charts good and they had amazing chicken tacos. The location is awesome for Porto Cervo and Poltu Qualtu (many amazing restaurants at those 2 locations). I would absolutely stay here again.

Everything! Couldn’t fault one thing about the Hotel! From all of the staff, Paulo, Guiseppe, Luca, Chiara, Antonello and all of the management, bar staff, pool attendants, cleaners qnd maintenance staff.. beyond incredible team!! The hotel is outstanding, the views are amazing, everything is well maintained, clean and immaculate and the food was outstanding!!

The hotel is lovely. Beautiful view from the pool.

Unfortunately we were in a room in a different section separate from the main building and our room was not as nicely furnished as rooms in the main building. It was also very loud in our room, you could hear the conversations of neighbouring guests. The on-site restaurant closes early. It is a difficult walk to the main part of Porto Cervo (does not have footpath the whole way, windy and steep).

Very spacious, spotless clean room with a small patio garden and direct access to the pool. Great attention to detail, comfort and hygiene. Breakfast was nice, delicious and contained pretty much all we need. People were really friendly, nice and helpful about the surroundings and services. Wonderful views from the hill top.

Bartender was a little slow on serving cocktails, took him ~40 mins to prepare two standard shakes with an empty bar. No problems for us, hope he survives through the high season.

We loved our stay here. Spectacular views of Porto Cervo and beautiful hotel with wonderful balcony views. They were about to close the place for winter and they were still very helpful and accommodating.

It is a bit of a walk, an unsafe one, to the town of Porto Cervo but i am pretty sure they have a shuttle service. We walked but the town was closed for the season.
