The hotel was in a brilliant location near the centre of the old town overlooking the canal and lake. It was an easy 10 minute walk from the train station. They provided us with adjacent rooms with a balcony overlooking the best view in the town. Breakfast was buffet style but there was a good range to choose from and even a shelf full of gluten free items including muesli. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and had an espresso machine, kettle, variety of tea bags and coffee pods. There were fresh bottles of water each day and you could request milk if required.

There was nothing we disliked about the hotel.

Great central location. Helpful staff and pretty lakeside bar just downstairs with reasonable pricing. Comfortable beds and modern room with plenty of space and a lake view. Lovely breakfast, especially if taken on the upstairs terrace.

The hairdryer is abysmal, would have been more effective had my husband breathed on my head I think. I would recommend bringing your own. It can be a little noisy at night due to the central location but it quietens down after midnight, didn’t affect us too much, but is probably good to know if you have children you want to put to bed earlier.

Breakfast brilliant especially the range of croissants. Breakfast service very good. Bed very comfortable.

Air conditioning leaked for last 2 days with constant drip onto the room floor - more than a little annoying even with towels soaking up the water. The problem started on a Saturday at 5 am and the hotel should have made sure a plumber came to fix it the same day. As it was when we left on the Monday the unit was still dripping water and no sign of a plumber. We were told plumbers don't work Sundays but I am sure if there was a leak in the hotel kitchen for example a plumber would have been found. We were not offered an alternative room but even if we were it is a lot of hassle to pack and unpack again and the fault should have just been sorted.

We stayed at Hotel Bell’arrivo by Dori as a family of five (two rooms) and had a great experience. The location is perfect — right by the lake and old town, just a short walk from the train station and bus stop, which made everything so easy and convenient. Check-in was friendly and welcoming and all reception staff were helpful (printing bus timetable, helping with taxis and tickets etc). Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely balcony with view of the lake. We didn;t find our room noisy despite being so central. The breakfast buffet had a great selection with something for everyone, and the breakfast staff were absolutely lovely — so kind and helpful, especially with our children.

The only downsides were finding some mouldy fruit at the breakfast buffet one morning, which was disappointing given the otherwise great selection. Also, twice our room door was not properly closed after housekeeping — I reported it to reception after the first time, but it happened again the next day. Nothing happened, but it is a security concern and it was a bit frustrating that it happened twice.

Location was good, close to ferry and a 15 min walk to train station. Pleasant staff, comfortable spacious room with lake view. Breakfast was good.

Very noisy room. The hotel is right next to harbour and adjacent to restaurants. Our room had three large window/doors which appeared to be double glazed, however they are virtually useless with cutting out noise. I got up during the night thinking I had left a window open, but they were all closed. First night very loud noise from restaurants and people but this stopped about 10pm so ok. Next night, Saturday night, a sound stage dance area was set up opposite hotel, extremely loud dance music until 1 am, impossible to sleep even with earplugs.

Both my friend and I couldn't praise Hotel Bell'Arrivo highly enough. The location was spot on - central to the town and yet overlooking the river and the lake. I appreciated having underground parking. Our respective rooms had balconies overlooking the river with a sea of flowers below. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly in particular Andrea who went out of his way to give us advice on how to reach places and what do see. We appreciated the 10% reduction and the welcome we got from sister restaurants like Cristina e Franco.

Nothing.

The location is almost perfect. But the guy that checked me in, mr. Andrea was exceptional. A real asset for your Hotel. He was really helpful in helping me out with a troubled issue I had with Booking. Very kind, respectful and he knows what hospitality is all about. So does Claudia at breakfast. An amazing young woman who greets all guests very touchfully kind which really make the day start very nice. She's very much into providing what guests are asking for and really makes te best capuccino and latte Grande plus gives much attention to all details. She's the real jewel of Bell'arrivo without any doubt. Had a great stay all around.

That I had to leave.

The thing we liked most was the location of the hotel. We were in walking distance to the train station, the bus stop, the ferry and all the restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the experience of having our hot croissant and other breakfast items delivered on our breakfast tray to the terrace. The views from the terrace were so beautiful.

The only problem we encountered during our stay was the shower. Sometimes no water flowed from the shower at all. We didn't have a great shower the entire time of our stay.

This is a nice hotel very close to the water with everything one can need. We booked a king room with lake view and got (by looking at the map) the only one with one window, back in a corner, and seemingly the smallest, but then we asked the reception and were relocated to a proper king with a water view. The breakfast terrace is very nice and shady.

I'd say it is a bit expensive for what it is. But overall a nice place.

The hotel is located approx.13 min. walking from the central station. Location of hotel was excellent since we used the buses right outside of the hotel to travel to Sirmione and Borgetto Sul Mincio. Room was cosy and clean had everything needed. Breakfast had a great variety. Staff was helpful to answer any questions we had. I strongly advise.
