- The room and public areas were highly aesthetic, beautifully furnished and well maintained (especially the garden was very nice; modern bathroom) - The pool was quite large and the pool area also well maintained and attractive; great sea view - the pool really invites you to linger

- Staff was not very courteous but rather somewhat passive and unmotivated; you had to become very proactive as a guest (e.g., when ordering coffee at breakfast or getting wifi access); communication may be difficult if you don’t speak Italian because the staff doesn't speak English that well - Food and drinks at the pool were overpriced and of modest quality - Public areas (breakfast room and pool area) lack some background music to lighten the mood - Location de facto requires you to rent a car (however, most tourists on Sicily probably rent a car anyway)

The location was perfect, in a beautiful setting. The overall design and decor was outstanding. Food and wine in the restaurant was fantastic, we loved the Octopus and the quality of the fillet steak was perfect. Food was also great value for money. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

Suites could do with some additional storage space for those staying longer than a couple of nights. It would be nice to have a selection of firmness for pillows to meet personal choices.

I recently stayed at this lovely property and had an overall excellent experience, although it was a bit short due to my early departure for an Etna hike. Unfortunately, this meant I couldn't fully enjoy all the facilities as much as I would have liked. However, I did manage to squeeze in an early morning swim before breakfast, and I have to say, the pool was a standout feature. With breathtaking views of both Etna and Taormina, it was the perfect spot to start the day, especially as I witnessed a wonderful sunrise from the Taormina side. The restaurant terrace also offered stunning views of the Taormina coast, making breakfast even more enjoyable. Speaking of breakfast, it was delicious with a good variety of food on offer, although I did miss having fresh orange juice. The staff was wonderful—very attentive and friendly—and I was pleasantly surprised by how well-maintained the property was. I noticed the gardeners were already at work early in the morning, which explains why the grounds are so beautifully kept. The room was comfortable, but I do wish the mattress had been a bit thicker, and the pillow could have been softer as it was a bit too firm for my liking. Despite these small points, the overall stay was fantastic. I had hoped to extend my stay for two more nights, but unfortunately, they were fully booked. Nonetheless, I will definitely choose this property again in the future should I return. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay. Immaculate grounds, nice decor in the hotel and room, very big room. Very friendly staff. Good open views of the surroundings and ocean. Breakfast was also very good. Short driving distance to Taormina. And last but not least, the food at the restaurant was amazing.

The only thing I would have liked would be blackout curtains that could block the light a bit better in the morning.

Really really nice place. The building itself, really nice interior, great views, swimming pool. Breakfast was amazing, both in selection and in atmosphere. At night it started raining and we were nicely surprised to find an umbrella at our entrance 🙂 We had a room with sort of garden view, but the blooming tree right outside the door made it feel like a real garden.

Really wifi only.. loose the browser sign in into wifi. It disconnects requiring re-signing (realizing you were using mobile data for a while) and you can't use any cast device with it.

We stayed for two nights in the hotel’s garden rooms and could not ask for anything better. The hotel is very modern and stylish, the food is delicious, staff is very kind and welcoming. The hotel is surrounded by lemon, orange and olive trees. You can enjoy delicious breakfast on the terrace with undisturbed views of Etna on one side and amazing sunrise over sea on the other. Can’t recommend enough.

The setting is completely beautiful - stunning views from the restaurant and pool. It's a really special location between the sea and Mount Etna. The hotel is beautifully designed. Staff were helpful and breakfast was very nice, with a good selection.

You absolutely need a car to stay here, which we didn't realise beforehand, so ended up spending a fortune on taxis. Dinner was a little disappointing. We had some minor issues with noise - the walls are thin so we could hear everything our neighbours were saying, and we were woken early one morning by somebody trimming the hedges outside our room.

The room is tastefully decorated, the bed, pillows, and linens are very comfortable. The location is in a very quiet area, and the breakfast is very varied and delicious. The staff is very attentive. Everything is very clean.

The resort has several buildings for guests. The location of our room was situated lower than the main building, and the road leading there was quite narrow, which caused a bit of discomfort

Fantastic facilities and view. The staff also very kind. The pool amazing and the service there, very comfy rooms.

The views to etna was covered by trees! Too bad! The pool would have been amazing if you were able To see the volcanoe. But trees were not allowing us to enjoy it. The restaurant food could be better

The room was very comfy (air con excellent!), facilities clean and well maintained. The staff were all helpful and couldn't do enough to sort stuff out for us.

We weren't told about restaurant closures on Sunday and Monday which made us adjust our travel plans a bit.
