Amazing breakfast with freshly pressed orange juice and high quality local products. Room was spacious and very clean. Comfortable bed. Location was good (close to Taormina and Etna) but a car is needed. The street nearby is audible but it did not bother us. Francesca and all the staff were such loving people - they made our stay even more perfect! They tried to organize a tour to Etna for us even though I am 7 months pregnant. It didn't work out in the end but did a boat trip instead which Francesca booked for us - we were happy.

Late Check-In (after 20:00) requires a payment of 20 EUR even though other people also checked in late.

Lovely rustic farmhouse set in a citrus plantation, with mature olive and mulberry trees. Local produce at breakfast was excellent, a huge variety of breakfast things including freshly squeezed orange juice, almond milk, nespele and mulberries. It was a pity that evening meals were only available at the weekend, and we stayed midweek, we would have loved to have dinner there. The olive soap in the bathroom was homemade, and the hotel was attentive to its environmental impact and water wastage. The wine available to purchase in the room was excellent and organic. Overall a charming rural stay.

Some road traffic noise as it is located close to the Messina Catania road, although not visible.

Excellent location of the hotel, near Etna, near the coast. The staff was extremely friendly. The hotel is located between lemon groves, ideal for enjoyment. Breakfast was varied and very tasty. We also had an extra dinner at the hotel on the terrace and it was an excellent experience.

The hotel is close to the highway and is a little noisier at night, but with the windows closed and the air conditioning everything was fine.

Very charming country house with large rooms. Breakfast was fantastic. The service was excellent. The complex is located amidst lots of groves and they have a nice walking trail through the property. It is located about 20 minutes from Taormina.

We had two rooms. The a/c in one room cooled very nicely. The other room did not get cold enough. Beds were too hard for us, but I guess many people like a very hard mattress. There are a lot of steps from the parking area to the building. The Wifi code was not in one of the rooms.

If you are looking for a place that is not a city center, this is the place to stay as it's close to Taormina but not as expensive as staying there, also you can explore the nearest charming beach resort, Naxos. You will definitely need a car to go around though. You can get to Catania in 1h if you take a highway, so it's a good middle ground if you plan to see Taormina.The room size is good enough and water pressure in the shower is perfect. It is surrounded by a garden and you can see Mt. Etna from the terrace.

I thought the restaurant was open, and it wasn't informed. Instead, they gave us some recommendation though. There are lots of cats. I am a cat lover but my partner is allergic to cat, so watch out if you are.

A special mention goes to Francesca, the receptionist. This is my second visit to this hotel in the last two years, and once again, she was amazing. She helped us very politely with any need we had, ensuring our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast at this hotel is simply amazing, featuring products produced right in their own farm inside the hotel. The freshness and quality are outstanding. One of the highlights is the fresh oranges—you can squeeze your own juice, and it's incredibly refreshing. Additionally, they bake a different cake every day, adding a delightful variety to the morning spread. The breakfast is served in an old stable which creates a unique and charming atmosphere. The combination of delicious food and the beautiful, rustic environment makes the breakfast experience truly unforgettable.

A beautifully restored vineyard with many of the wine press machines still visible. You get a museum visit for free really! Francesca on reception was perfect and professional: providing us with an early breakfast voluntarily, giving recommendations for visits and all with a genuine smile and warmth. Our room was stunning with exposed stone wall, fridge and the BEST shower on the island! Squeezing our own oranges from the garden was fantastic at the wonderful breakfast selection and overall we had a wonderful stay.

Nice hotel in the countryside with medium-sized rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel is surrounded by lemon and orange plantations which are beautiful. They have huge gardens where you can sit down and relax. The room had basic amenities and was clean. The staff was very friendly. Great location, close drive to Taormina and Catania.

The bathroom was very small and old, there wasn't enough space to shower comfortably and the toilet flush was hard to use and did not work well. Our room was in the bottom floor surrounded by many tables of the restaurant. There was little privacy when the restaurant was packed, the windows lead directly to the tables filled with people that could easily peek into our room. You could also hear a lot of noise coming from the restaurant.

This was the best accommodation we ever had - and we travel a lot. Nice place with a big garden, view on Etna , nice stuff, local product, beatifull room. Everything was near - by car . We visited Taormina, near village Calatabiano , Letojani . We were in October , low season with not a lot people but the weather was great .I just love this place. I bought local shower gel rosmarino - its such a wonder .I will feel this atmosphere in my bathroom :-)

There is road near and you hear cars all the time .The breakfast - I was expected more local products and variety - had just one kind of cheese, and one of ham .

Beautiful place and surrounding nature. Kind and helpful host. Great communication. Check-in is from 15:00 until 20:00 and only by appointment. Check-out until 10:30. Great location if you have a car. It is located close to the motorway which might bother light sleepers. The room was very comfortable and cleaned daily. Towels are changed every three days. Nice homemade soaps. Great breakfast. The restaurant was closed but our host gave us a great tip on where to have dinner in the neighbourhood. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay in Antico Borgo Etneo.
