Simona and family were great hosts who provide us a feel at home vibe. Pre-check in communication was excellent and made an easy adjustable check in possible. The opening garage door led to a private secure parking spot surrounded by fruit trees and a comfortable pool area. Our room, right off the common office area, was clean with a comfortable bed under a high and magnificently painted ceiling. It was steps away from a pleasantly decorated deck with a comfortable outside seating area connected to the breakfast atrium. And the Italian breakfast was outstanding with fresh fruits, focaccia, yogurts, cheese, meats and pastries. A chip card for the garage door made coming and going possible at any time while assuring parking.

The B&B was lovely. The owners couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Breakfast was great. Secure off street parking was unexpected. Our room was very comfortable and easy walking distant to great shops and restaurants.

The lighting in the room could have been better - i.e. somewhat dark. The surrounding neighborhood was a bit rundown, but then maybe that is Sicily for you! The actual Alhambra B&B was impeccable.

Location was great. Walking distance to down town. Central to Catania and Taormina. Breakfast was fantastic, loved the prosciutto, orange juice, & home made cake. Easy entry to rooms/garage. Had lots of fun in the pool. The staff is so sweet, helpful and friendly.

A little softer beds and a door sign for cleaning/do not disturb.

The staff were friendly and very helpful and spoke good English. The room was comfortable though as it was on the ground floor as we had requested there was no window or daylight. Breakfast was continental with delicious orange juice squeezed from their own oranges grown on the property. Outside areas were attractive but we didn’t have the right weather for them!

We would have liked tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Alhambra is absolutely phenomenal! The family running it is the par excellence hospitality staff. We really enjoyed our stay and I hope we will come back in a cooler part of the year. Also, there is a fantastic fish market next door as well as wonderful fruits and vegetables booth 3 minutes from the house ✨

An incredible find in Giarre. What made the place were the super friendly staff who made it felt like we were staying in a family home (and being welcomed into the family). Super friendly, hospitable and generous. Very easy despite the language barrier. Very nice breakfast, pool & terrace too.

We cannot give 10/10 because of the room. Our room face to the pool and where the breakfast is served. It was impossible to sleep in the morning once people started to have their breakfast. The bed also wasn’t very comfortable

I liked the pool at the B&B and the helpful staff. They also clean the rooms everyday so cleanliness is maintained throughout your stay.

Its location without a car is quite limited to where one can go (such as the beach), especially on weekends. Therefore, having a car is recommended when staying at this accommodation.

the breakfast was amazing especially the homemade orange marmalade. Simona was constantly available to see we were comftable. she was offering her ideas on the places to visit.

Everything as expected. Very nice service, breakfast included, great base for trips to Taormina and Etna. Clean, quiet. we recommend!
