The hotel has a beautiful design. Gorgeous pool area with plenty of loungers and a stunning view of Mount Etna. Nice spacious bedroom & bathroom. Quite simple in style. Excellent breakfast with a surprising & ever changing selection of home-made pastries, breads & cakes. Fantastic evening dining. High quality food & wine. Attentive wait staff. Good selection of delicious poolside lunch & snack options. The hotel also helped us arrange a hassle free excursion to Mount Etna. The view of Etna at night especially when it is erupting is just breath taking! We witnessed kilometer high lava fountains. The hotel has an on-site telescope which you can borrow and set up by the pool area to get a closer look. There is also a big local restaurant close by that served excellent pizza if you want an authentic Sicilian dining experience surrounded by locals. Great buzz!

The hotel is in a residential area. But once inside the hotel you feel like you're in the country surrounded by lemon trees.

This place is amazing!!! It took a little bit of driving around to find it (it was raining) but once we drove through the gate you feel like in heaven. Complete oasis.  Everything was top notch: the rooms, grounds, restaurant but especially the staff. We are definitely coming back! Don’t pass by this place. You have to experience it!!! My husband and I drove through entire Sicily for 12 days, staying in a different hotel every night. This one was the best. 

The staff were amazing. From Bruno at the front desk to the restaurant staff and the cleaning ladies, everyone went above and beyond. They were professional and smiling - and not in a fake way, but true to their warm, Mediterranean culture. In addition, the exterior design - most notably the pool and the orange and lemon trees - are the main asset. The restaurant was good, but not great. In particular the dinner menu could use a few more traditional no-frills local dishes. The haute cuisine approach did not fully deliver.

The bathroom did not keep up with the rest of the facilities (small shower, bad choice of tiles which are hard to maintain).

The Ramo d'Aria Hotel has an elegant aesthetic that enhances the overall guest experience. The pool area is a standout feature—serene and mostly tranquil, it provides a perfect space for relaxation. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean. The staff were consistently friendly and eager to assist, with Christian at the reception desk being particularly noteworthy. His attentive service and excellent recommendations for the Etna tour and local dining options greatly enriched our stay.

One minor drawback was that the view of Mount Etna from the pool area was partially obstructed by the pool's vegetation fence. It would be an improvement if the fence were slightly lower, allowing guests to enjoy the view from more vantage points. Additionally, given that this is a boutique hotel, I was expecting higher-quality bathroom amenities. The shampoo, soap, and lack of conditioner fell short of expectations.

Our stay at Ramo d'Aria Etna Boutique Hotel was an absolute delight. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the hotel’s tasteful design, beautiful presentation, and its proximity to Mount Etna. Check-in was seamless, and we quickly made our way to the pool. The water was wonderfully warm, like stepping into a bath, and the pool itself was spacious with plenty of sun loungers for relaxation. One of the highlights was enjoying drinks by the pool while watching Mount Etna erupt in the distance – a truly unforgettable experience. Dinner that evening was equally impressive, with knowledgeable and attentive staff who expertly guided us through the menu and wine selections. The following morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in their stunning outdoor area, surrounded by the natural beauty of the setting. Ramo d'Aria exceeded our expectations in every way, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the charm of Sicily with the grandeur of Etna as a backdrop.

Nothing really, it was a lovely place.

A very warm and extensive welcome with a free upgrade to a beautiful big room with bath tub. A beautifully designed and clean hotel. The swimming pool is big and amazing. Possibly the best breakfast I've had in a hotel. The restaurant serves tasty dishes with attention to detail.

Be aware that the pool is not heated. The hotel is located in a residential area, you can't walk nicely around the hotel.

The Hotel was just lovely. Such nice surrounding, with lots of greenery and all the property was very clean. The pool area was our favorite with the view to Etna and with all the lemon trees around it. We also had a room with the view to the pool and Etna, which was really nice. The stay felt really private since we were always alone by the pool although there were other people at the hotel also. Breakfast was really good and there was an option to order warm meals also. Absolutely loved our stay and would have wanted to stay even longer.

Only thing to note is that there isn't much around the hotel so just bear that in mind, but in case you don't mind travelling with a car then that is not a problem.

Would like to reiterate how fantastic the staff was. The breakfast was of a very good standard with lots of choice….been very picky a wider selection of bread would have been appreciated. The pool area was exceptional very peaceful and tranquil. In our opinion free bottled water should be made available FOC in a selected boutique hotel such as this. The restaurant could benefit from having a more ambient atmosphere. Such as candles on the table and dimmer lighting

We had a wonderful time at the hotel, using it as our home base for day trips to Mount Etna and a nearby winery, as well as for leisurely days lounging by the pool. The breathtaking view of Mount Etna, surrounded by lush greenery and citrus trees, created a truly serene atmosphere. Our room was clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't live up to our expectations. While it served fine breakfasts and snacks, salads during the day, the dinner was a letdown. Despite the small crowd, we had to wait a long time for our food. While the risotto and pasta were delicious, our seabass arrived raw.

The overall setting, the size of the rooms (and the bathtub), the pool... Everything was perfect! We traveled with 2 small kids (a 3 year old and a 3 month old baby), which can be quite stressful. Everyone at Ramo D'aria made sure everything was taken care of. Furthermore, the pool is heaven on earth for small kids (large shallow area) as well as for adults who get some time to relax on the large sunbeds with an aperol in their hands.

We have absolutely nothing to complain about.
