This is an ideal stay for a family, if you wish to visit the Pompeii archeological site, with Herculaneum and Vesuvius a short drive away. Rosa - the nonna - made our family visit one to remember. She is a lovely, warm person who welcomes you into her family home, makes delicious pastries and drinks with the excellent breakfast, and helps with finding the best pizzas, restaurants, local shops and other tips. I would recommend Rosa and her home to everyone. Thank you for the lovely stay, and we will return.

Absolutely everything!!! So clean, extremely well furnished. Kitchen and dining area are beautiful and so well organised. Breakfast was excellent and more than expected. Great hot water and shower. Also the gardens are magnificent. Rosa was the nicest host we have ever had. She also does the gardening as well as making the fresh wonderful croissants with breakfast. Do not pass this place up. Just meeting Rosa is a great experience in itself. She also speaks multiple languages!!! We rate this property a 12 out of 10!!! Enjoy. Chris and Sharon Stone.

This B&B is more akin to overnighting at a family friend's place than booking a hotel. The owner is passionate about making sure you feel home, are comfortable, and know everything you need to know about the area. And if you just want to enjoy the view of the cathedral of Pompei with Vesuvius behind it from the balcony in peace and silence, that's what you'll get as well. The location is walking distance from the city centre and archaeological site.

The toilet and shower had their share of quirks in our room. Nothing unhygienic or unworkable though.

Be assured of a warm and friendly welcome from your host Rosa, backed up with an efficient, well presented and delivered service, parking provided (huge bonus), centro a 20 minute walk away which we rejoiced in as not disturbed by the activities of town but still within easy reach with local options for food at very reasonable prices (family run pizzeria just down road Exceptional!) And tips proffered for our visit to the excavations - parking, entry etc very helpful. No dislikes for me….

Rosa is a wonderful hostess and a beautiful soul! We all love her so much!

There was a neighborhood alarm that was going off all day long, both days we were there. The neighborhood dogs were barking constantly during the day. Of course, none of this can be controlled by the property owner. This is an amazing property, and Rosa is a great host. This B&B is best suited if you are driving your own car or you prearrange transportation. We walked and hauled our suitcases from the train station for 1.6 miles. Very rough on cobblestones! Not easy to get a taxi to or from dinner in the evening. We pre-booked a taxi to the ruins, and again to meet the train when we were leaving.

We loved our short vacation at Maison Blanche a lot! Rosa is excellent host, the house and garden were just gorgeous and breakfast really delicious with fresh fruits, fresh pastry and fresh moka coffee :) It is quiet area and quiet house - no noises from the street or other rooms. We loved sitting on our terrace, watching the mountains and old town buildings. It is less than 20 minutes from Pompei entrance, so no need to pay for Pompei parking. We would love to stay here again!

The host is very kind and helpful. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome, including getting into the room earlier, and leaving the car in the parking lot on the last day until the evening. It is located in a quiet and peaceful part of the city, and the Pompeii Archaeological Park is half an hour walk away. Room is clean and nice, with a large terrace, it feels very bright in the room. Free parking in the yard.

Everything about Maison Blanche was wonderful! Rosa was an excellent host. From the warm welcome, to the attentive service, delicious breakfasts and helpful advice, our stay was flawless. She even drove us to the start point of our Pompeii tour and to the station on our leaving day. It's a little out of town, but once you've got your bearings it's just an easy 15-20 minute walk into town. The two rooms were both roomy and well-appointed, each with their own ensuite bathroom. The breakfast room had a balcony with a lovely view of the town. Would definitely love to return to stay at Maison Blanche again!

There was nothing we didn't like

Maison Blanche certainly deserves its high rating. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is top-notch, clean, and very well-maintained. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the terrace views are pleasant. Breakfast is excellent. The host went above and beyond to make us happy. We walked to the Pompei ruins, so it is close enough. We will be glad to come back in future!

We had an fantastic stay with the lovely Rosa. The entire place is very well maintained and t he room was well decorated spotlessly clean and with good detail. Rosa was a wonderful host and took her time to give us some tips for things to do. Breakfast was simple but lovely.

The B&B can be a bit difficult to find on arrival as it is located in a very narrow street.
