Vesuvian Stone Pompeii The rooms are clean attractive, modern and spacious. The apartment is mosquito proof (door fly screens)-excellent. There is a good-sized fridge, microwave and a kettle; which is important to us as we normally choose self-catering. The bed is large & very comfortable. All the rooms are spacious. We stayed at Vesuvius Stone for a week. The BB Vesuvian Stone’s name (a vesuvianite mineral rock) is synonymous with area. The owner Anna is intelligent and helpful. It was ideal for our visit to Pompeii a 20-minute walk to Pompeii Arachnological Ruins gate 3 Piazza Anfiteatro . Nearby jaunts to Mount Vesuvius, Vietri sul Mare; and to cool off Rena Nera Beach. Further afield Paestum Greek Temples. Breakfast: We were provided with various types of fruit with our breakfast each morning. There is the option to eat inside or outside. Other: Ideal if you have a car. There is a nearby small shop The place is pretty.

Anna was an incredibly gracious host and helped us with transportation around the city as well as provided recommendations for dinner. The B&B was very comfortable with good AC and a large bedroom and bathroom. The terrace and garden had beautiful views over the Basilica and were great spots for reading or relaxing! Breakfast was lovely on the terrace and Anna had a nice selection of pastries, fruit, and drinks. The B&B is also located on a family farm with lots of fruit trees. We are very glad we stayed here and would happily come back!

Nothing! But be aware it is about a 30 minute walk to the town center. It is accessible by car if you rented one or took a taxi. There is also a bus stop close by.

Great place to stay, decorated with love and passion! Good breakfast and everything is perfectly clean! Its just 20 minutes on foot to the ruins side of pompei and also to the city center. Small supermarket for almost everything close by. Very calm neighborhood for good sleep. In total a great place to stay!

Nothing serious, the only point is the temperature regulation of the shower is very sensitive. If you know how to deal with it, it´s fine ;-)

The property is very spaceous, has a lovely big yard and porche. I found everything I needed here, from hairdryer to towels, wifi that was working great, hot water that never interrupted, a very delicious breakfast, the most amazing clean sheets and beddings, everything looks brand new and very well taken care of. And on top of all, the owner is a very warm and kind lady who recommended us good restaurants and places to visit, she was always willing to help when we needed anything.

Beautiful B and B on a quiet street outside of town. The walk into town took about 25 minutes but very easy. You can access the ruins from town so no need to drive the car and find parking. The owner was spectacular. We had an early morning flight and she provided us a quick breakfast before we left. Would stay here again on another trip.

Everything was great. The flat had everything you may need. The garden is also great inwhich you can have the great breakfast the host prepared. It was the best hotel/homestay breakfast in Italy because there was both sweet and salty things Juice coffee fruits... The host gave me ride to the Pompei old city.

In the evening there was a person other than the host speaking very loudly in front of the door and also very loud music was coming from another building at night. The location was little bit far from the station (2km) and toom me almost half an hour to walk. No public transportation so was hard to walk with my pack.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Pompeii. The host Anna is very kind and helpful, with advice for visiting Pompeii and the surrounding area. Lovely breakfast, served outside if the weather is good. You can reach everywhere you need to go in Pompeii by walking if you have no car. Thank you Anna for making me feel so welcome.

My stay was excellent. The place was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The hostess was extremely kind and attentive, which made everything even better. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Pompeii.

Anna is so very friendly and she served an excellent breakfast and there is a big garden and fresh flowers.

The city center is 15min walk, the ruins 20 min at a road with heavy car traffic and busses are rare (I saw one in 10 walks) and not in the evening. (Probably Boscoreale is in walking distance). and the train station Sanktuario 15 and the main station 20 min to walk.

A perfect place to base ourselves for our time in Pompei. Anna was incredibly welcoming, and the space was great - large, clean and exactly what we were after. Breakfast was delicious. A bit of a walk into the main town (which we knew it was a little further out) - but completely manageable.
