The pool was the absolute best place to retreat to when we were done for the day. We all enjoyed swimming and taking in the quietness of the property and the views! You can see Mt. Vesuvius from the pool. The pool bar was awesome!! Our rooms were just as described and accommodated us for the evening. Breakfast was outstanding!!! There were so many options, and everything tasted delicious!!! The front desk staff were amazing at everything! They booked all of our taxis for us since we were a family of five. Every driver that we had was great! The restaurant and staff were great and sitting under the lights and grapes couldn't have been any more perfect! Their sparkling wine (white) was the BEST!!

A beautiful property set in the lush gardens of a Vineyard. The rooms were stylish and comfortable. The ones we chose had their own private patio and little garden , ideal for sitting out in the evening with a glass of wine from their own vineyard. The accommodation is a two minute walk to the Winery with its restaurant on site and wine tasting options . The pool area is idyllic, set with Mount Vesuvius as the backdrop . The pool bar provides towels and you can order drinks and afternoon snacks from there . The Kir Royale cocktail was especially good , served with a smile to your sunbed by the wonderful bar staff . When we were there in May , there were times when there was only us at the pool , so no fighting for a sun bed . Breakfast was served in the main reception building and offered a good range of continental options plus bacon and scrambled eggs. The staff were really helpful , making fresh coffee . There were trays if you wanted to take your breakfast to your room patio/garden to eat there . All the staff were exceptional , professional yet friendly . Reception arranged us a guide to take us round the ruins . Ancient Pompeii ruins are about a 20 minute to half hour walk away from the property . If you have a car , it’s a 5 minute drive to the ruins and there is paid parking right next to it . Parking at the vineyard is free and located next to the accommodation so not far to walk with your cases . This was our second stay at Bosco Medici , the last time being when we were traveling with our small dog . I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a relaxing base to explore Pompeii .

My family and I enjoyed everything about this property. The breakfast was amazing! The tour of the winery and wine testing with meal was excellent! The food and the waiters at the restaurant are exceptional! All of the receptionist are kind and extremely helpful. A huge thank you to Nydia, Franz, and Alessandro for all their help at reception. All the staff including housekeeping were great. The pool with the view of Mount Vesuvius was breathtaking! We enjoyed visiting Pompei . The resort is calm, quiet, and relaxing. A sincere thank you to all the staff for a wonderful vacation.

Almost Everything! Very polite staff, very quiet location with just the occasional rumble of the train when outside. Rooms were a good size, clean and tidy. The restaurant at the winery is very good. Again helpful and pleasant staff and very well cooked and presented food. We were there four nights and didn’t eat anywhere else! Pool area had plenty of Sun loungers and the pool was a good size to actually do some swimming. A great base to visit the region.

Not a lot. If I were to niggle the bathrooms were a little small (but clean and well maintained) and I would have glasses in the bathroom as opposed to little plastic cups.

This hotel is easily the best in pompei. The staff couldn't of been friendlier, more attentive or more helpful. The location was like going back in time, the gentle sound of horses and peacocks in the evenings. The smell of fresh lemons growing all around you. You can sunbathe next to a luxurious pool in the shadow of mt vesuvius. Everything that a tourist would want or could possibly need is within 15 minutes walk. Every aspect of the hotel exceeded my high expectations and I feel very very lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here. Rooms were spacious, clean, stylish and had everything we could want included. Someone has very clearly put some serious work into anticipating your every need and it shows. Even given the massive positives going for the hotel, the true show stealer is the staff. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

That I had to leave when my holiday was over. I couldn't think of a single negative for this hotel.

The property itself is very nice with big pool and nice garden. Clean rooms, good breakfast ( same every day, but k). Very good restaurant in the compound.

The sorroundings are awful. If you don t have a car is not a very nice walk to city center ( 15 min). Anyway, if you don’t have a good reason to stay in Pompei, I would look for another place, is not the most beautiful city. Regarding the hotel, the room is nice but it has a very small bathroom. And in the morning, it is a very strong smell of smoke because of the farms nearby. It is a little bit to expensive for what are they offering, but probably it is because they don t have any competition in the city so in the end you have to pay for a decent quality of accommodation.

We liked the pool, breakfast, and convenience of the parking lot. We also liked how the winery restaurant was walking distance to the resort. The room was spacious even with the Jacuzzi. Theres a patio set outside for each room which is convenient if you wanted to eat in your room instead of dining at the restaurant. It was nice to have the sofa bed prepared to sleep on upon check-in. Glad we were already given 4 bath towels for our family of four instead of having to ask for them. It would've been nice to have complimentary water for each adult guest. The staff was very welcoming.

Jacuzzi had dirt in it. We found out after we had already used it. We recommended running it a few times and checking that there's not rust and dirt in tje water before getting in. There was no shelf space to lay any of our toiletries in the bathroom. Walls are pretty thin. We could hear our neighbor's phone vibrating. We had an infant so I'm sure they heard our 3-month-old crying at night.

Spotless clean, well maintained room and facilities. Helpful staff always responding to our requests with a smile and professional attitude, offering assistance with local taxis and transfers. Refreshing pool area with views over Vesuvius. Walking distance to downtown Pompei and the archeological park. Good breakfast and the possibility to have a nice meal at the resort’s restaurant. For horse riding lovers, the stables are a great surprise.

There’s one element that could be improved- soundproofing in the room, seeing that weddings take place in the resort. That said, the music seems to fade by midnight. Also, we got the closest room towards the wedding venue, so maybe that does not apply for rooms on the opposite side.

Beautiful, large pool, with a view of Vesuvius - perfect for cooling off after days exploring Pompeii, the Roman villas and the sites. Generous room, spotlessly clean. Lovely garden with citrus trees, nice to eat breakfast in, and/or enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. It was my birthday, and we were given a bottle of sparkline wine made on the property.

We agreed to change rooms at the property's request, and were promised an upgrade to a room with a garden view (from a standard double to a superior double, which the website states 'overlook the peaceful green park') - but unfortunately our new room overlooked a wall. The staff were very apologetic but couldn't do anything. Breakfast is not brilliant for non-meat eaters or non-pork eaters, as eggs/potatoes/bacon/sausages and cold meats/cheese are served adjacent to each other, to be served with the same utensils. (As a vegetarian, when I pointed this out, they did make me my own dish of eggs.)

Driving down the long entrance drive of Bosco De Medici, you pass their riding school and a beautiful winery, where you can book a tasting or a meal with paired tasting Just a little bit further and you come to the Resort, with gorgeous, well maintained gardens, a Reception building, where breakfast is served and the rooms. These are so well thought out. Tucked away to the right of Reception , each room has a small terrace in front, screened by plants. The rooms are light and airy and have all the facilities and extras you may need during your stay. There is also a large swimming pool behind Reception with comfy loungers and parasols. The hotel is ideally located for both the town of Pompeii and the ruins. The hotel organised us a 3hr trip around the ruins with a Professor It was excellent and well worth doing. We would have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel.
