Four Pompei is situated very close to the Amphitheatre entrance to the Pompei Archaeological Park allowing you to enter from a quieter side of the site allowing me to explore the ruins as I walked from one side to the next. The venue had welcome air conditioning; nice bathroom and a tv I was able to connect my iPad to to watch some movies I'd downloaded. Also, there is a piazza space with soft furnishing where you could sit, chat and eat some take away pizza. Two tables were available to put things on along with a luggage holder Towels, shower gel was all provided. Being so close to the ruins, you can return for a siesta then go back late. The street is full of restaurants, bakeries and bars idea for travellers who like to dine out. I would recommend staying here especially if you are thinking of spending a few days exploring the ruins because it's so close to the entrance

Great communication via WhatsApp upfront and during the stay. Well furnished and very clean. Fresh towels on request. Breakfast is across the road in an excellent local cafe. Our only complaint is that the allowance for a simple danish and coffee is insufficient and we were regularly asked to pay a surcharge of €2 or similar that was an annoyance for just one pastry (other than a plain croissant) and a coffee. Very near the ruins is really wonderful and great local restaurants. Wishing the owner every success and please consider making the breakfast component more generous or just remove it from the offering as half a danish and an expresso is not breakfast.

I booked this on behalf of friends so didn’t stay there. But I did see the rooms etc which were very well appointed and very spacious. A small balcony overlooking the street, above a very nice friendly bar/restaurant. The owner sent very comprehensive checking in instructions which made the process very straightforward & he is local for any problems. Breakfast was at De Vivo - the patisserie opposite. You get a voucher for a drink and a pastry which are fresh, big & delicious. A very nice place to start the day. My friends were very impressed with their stay there & have recommended it to other family members. It’s a 7 min walk from Pompeii Sanctuario train station; a couple of minutes from Piazza Bartolo Longo and a 20 mins walk from the entrance to the Pompeii ruins. Lots of bars/restaurants close by. A nice place to relax and unwind after a day’s sightseeing . I didn’t see a lift & it is on the first floor.

Guiseppe was brilliant. Very quick to respond to any questions. Sent us all the info we needed. We booked airport transfers through him and a guide for the ruins and everything worked like clockwork. Accommodation was of a very high standard, quiet and central. 5 mins from the ruins and the square with bars and restaurants and 10 mins from the train station so easy and cheap to get to Naples or Herculaneum. Would definitely cone back if we came this way again. Thanks for a lovely few days.

The host was friendly and efficient. We received full details and information before arriving and even a video explaining where to go to check ourselves in which was very helpful. The mini bar had both still and sparkling water and a small prosecco, which was a delight after a long journey and complimentary. The room was modern and spacious as well as the bathroom, corridors and small vestibule for relaxing. We couldn't fault our trip and would defiantly stay here again.

The breakfast is provided by a local patissery, which is just across the road from the accomodation, and makes the most delicious, fresh from the oven pastries, plus great coffee, which you can have in the cafe or take away. The room had great sound insulation, so even though we were near to the middle of town, we had no issues getting a good nights sleep. The location is really handy for access to the Pompeii site, and also close to 2 of Pompei's 3 stations (the Scavi station, which is the busiest, is a bit further away, but we were easily able to walk back from it to the room after a visit to Sorento)

For an evening meal I would recommend the Hotel Forum, which is almost next door. It has a very peaceful couryard dining area which welcomes non-residents.

Perfect location and a stones throw from the less crowded side entrance to Pompeii. We stayed here for 4 nights and used it to explore Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius and the Amalfi coast. 3 train stations close by and loads of restaurants and bars on hand. The host is super organised giving you a pdf before arrival with info and ideas on where to eat, travel, tickets etc etc - If only all hosts were as organised. Room is clean, modern and airy and coffee is available in the upstairs lounge. Breakfast is a coffee and a cake/croissant in the really nice De Vivo across the road, enough to get you started for your day. Thanks Again :)

We were in room number 4. It was beautifully designed, extremely spacious and luxurious. In addition Giuseppe (the owner) was always on hand via what's app to answer any questions we had. The location is just 3 mins walk from one of the entrances to the archaeological site. And 10 mins walk to the train station - note there are several trains stations serving Pompeii. We also liked the fact that our included breakfast was a simple but delicious coffee and pastry from the excellent Da Vivo across the road from our airbnb - the number one patisserie in Pompeii and great for people watching

Perfect location directly across the street from entrance to ruins. Great A/C unit in room and lovely common area with coffee machine. Wi-fi works well, and facility is private with security-locked doors. Several restaurants within short walking distance, and top-notch breakfast at de Vivo included. We were not traveling with children, but those with children will love the small area with carnival-type rides that’s literally just steps away across the street.

Our first night there, we were woken up somewhere between 5 and 6:00 am when the room light suddenly came on. The bathroom also did not have hand soap. These things didn’t matter, though, due to all of the facility’s other wonderful qualities.

The room was lovely and airy, just as described. It had ample space for suitcases and hanging clothes, lush towels, USB sockets and thoughtfully considered details like complimentary chilled water and a wee bottle of prosocco in the mini-bar on arrival. Guiseppe was an attentive host and quickly responded when we had any queries. The room guide book has lots of information that was really helpful, including local restaurants—which we checked out, and loved! It's also perfectly located at a less busy entrance to Pompeii and the patisserie across the street is fabulous—for coffee in the morning or gelato in the evening.
