Best value for the money!!! Is near to old city of Pompei, like 100 meters distance from the hotel. Room is clean, you have AC, bathroom is big. Your room will be clean daily. Breakfast is very simple, but is enough. You have ham, butter, yogurt, salami, 3 types of croissants, jam, coffee, juice, black tea. Train station is at 100m from the hotel. Highway is at 300m from hotel. At 1.5km form hotel you will find the downtown with plenty of food and local attractions.

clean, comfortable with lovely helpful staff. A nice complimentary continental breakfast on site in the associated restaurant (being early season this was closed in the evening like many places nearby. From April onwards, I expect this would be open, so food and a bar on site). The climate control system might be an issue when it is full summer. it is not an individual room air conditioning system ( it was explained to us). Also we were the only occupants of the hotel for some nights and on others perhaps two or three other rooms were occupied. Even so, the beautifully tilled corridors and room floors echoed if chairs in nearby rooms were moved and when cases were wheeled along. Not a problem for us as we were up and out early but I can image it might be intrusive for some. Balcony is shared by all rooms on the same level, though secure from ground level, so this could be a problem for some. An electric powered shutter can be raised and lowered from inside the room to ensure security whilst allowing the doors to the balcony to be left open at night for airflow. There is a 24 hour reception desk and the place just does feel very safe! Talking of which, there is one in the room. An ideal base for doing the sights as an independent traveler. 200m to the entrance to Pompei Scavi, you pass the entrance to the train station at 100m from the site! and can catch the bus up to Vesuvius from outside the station(€3.60 single fare, if memory serves, but remember you must book a pass €11ish to enter the “park” when you get there. easy to do online.) Trains to Naples stop at Herculaneum and go to Sorrento in the other direction, again they are quite cheap fares €2.60 into Naples and 3.60 to Sorento.

Hotel Zeus surprised us very positively - we had 2 rooms. Reviews said all sort of things, but from the first moment to the end, everything was excellent. The rooms are newly renovated, spacious enough and clean. The air conditioning works very well. The bathroom is also newly renovated. Good Wifi. There is a large parking lot with a separate part for the hotel - you park in front of your room. Breakfast in the building opposite is simpler, but my already grown-up children declared that the croissants were the best in all of Italy right here. The only thing I would change was to replace the toast bread with classic bread to eat with ham and cheese. We did not notice any noise from other hotel rooms or the noise of trains. Several restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. After visiting Pompeii, we had lunch in the hotel restaurant and we rate the food highly positively (compared to the dinner we had outside the hotel day before). Location 1 min walk from the Pompeii site. Parking for an additional fee after checking out and visiting Pompeii is convenient.

Every member of the staff did a wonderful job and went above and beyond in helping me out. The room was great, breakfast was great and because of the campground they even have laundry facilities. 50 m from train station and 100 m from ruins gate and Biggest mall in Italy 15 min walk(ask about the shortcut Google maps doesn't show)

Nothing really. But... of the 12 different places I stayed through out Italy over a couple months all of them had shower heads that needed to be taped wired or wedged into place for a comfortable shower. This one was no different

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. The room was great, it was clean & and had everything I needed. It was modern and secure. The location was excellent for hopping on the train to either Sorrento or Naples (which I did) and Pompeii ruins. It was worth the money. As a solo traveller, I felt secure in my room. There's a big supermarket 10 mins down the road. Local restaurants were great. The staff were always helpful & friendly. I would recommend this hotel

My patio door shutters only came halfway down, but I just bent down to use my patio. Other than this very minor fault, my stay was absolutely perfect.

This hotel is located right next to the Pompeii train station and just steps from the main entrance to the Pompeii Archaeological Park—super convenient! We arrived late in the evening, and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served across the street and included coffee, juice, yogurt, milk, croissants, and some apples. We only stayed one night, but the hotel kindly allowed us to store our luggage while we visited the park. We started our morning around 9:00, had breakfast, and walked just a few minutes to enter the ancient city of Pompeii. We spent the whole day exploring the incredible 2,000-year-old ruins, then returned to the hotel to pick up our luggage and catch our next train to Sorrento. It was perfect!

There were some mosquitoes when we checked in so we had to have a mosquito fight before we finally settled in.

Location was excellent, near one of the entrances of the archeological site. The rooms were very nice and clean. We stayed for one night and it was a good choice. The parking was perfectly located inside the property.

The breakfast was poor, only a few choices of food, but the coffee was excellent. The hotel has another location nearby, and initially the receptionist said we have the rooms there. We arrived in the middle of the night and the gate was closed in the second location. Check beforehand where your room is, not to waste time walking back and forth.

Very nice location, just get off from train and 1 minute walking from the Pompei Scavi station, perfect. To go to the main entrance of the Pompeii Archeological Park it’s like 3 minutes walking which is also great after spending the whole day walking at the park to come back and have some rest. The best restaurants are 7min walk from hotel and are: Caupona Pompei Restaurant, very delicious Roman food with delicious steaks and beef to change pizzas and pastas. And the other restaurant close to Caupona, Pizzeria La Gare, very delicious food and service.

breakfast was complimentary, italian style, cornetto and coffee at the facility across the parking lot from the lodging. the hotel is conveniently located just at my intended exit from the pompeii archeopark. there's a train stop nearby, no noise noticed. in walking distance from modern pompeii square and rail station. i appreciated that the kids had separate beds, i can't tell if that was a sheer luck or if we arranged this with the hotel on booking.

airconditioning control was somewhat enigmatic could not locate the bathroom ventilation; the bathroom could have better air humidity management

Location to visit the Pompeii Ruins was perfect. Polite Staff , Clean rooms.

Breakfast is contracted out to the Café across the car park, and was extremely basic, the one selection for bread made very hard toast, and the toaster takes forever. You could ask the staff for a coffee etc., but self only had orange juice or water. They did have some cold meats and Croissants, and yoghurt. Staff were nice in the café. I think the Hotel Zeus would be better off not advertising ( Breakfast Included ) as some other customers we met had the same opinion .
