We liked everything. The receptionist, Rebecca, was very helpful, spoke good English, and professionally dealt with our queries. She wasn't 100% sure if the restaurant was open that night as it is only used if there are groups staying. (It turned out that it was open). But Rebecca offered to organise for someone to give us a lift the 2km back into town and recommended a restaurant if we were going to have to do that. Our room was good and large and the bathroom had a fantastic large bath with decent shower in it. We had an exceptionally good dinner. Matthew, our waiter, was fantastic. Good English, polite, efficient, with great enthusiasm, and he definitely wanted us to understand everything on the menu. The food was delicious. The grounds of this venue are beautiful, with the pond full of frogs and lots of rabbits running across the lawns. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is a bit out of town (30 minutes walk) for people like us walking the Via Francigena, but we knew that when we booked

It was very clean and nicely decorated. The pistachio croissant I had for breakfast was the best pastry I’ve ever had in my life!

Our room was overlooking the party area, so it wasn’t very quiet. I didn’t like that the bed was on a second level with a lot of metal stairs, as I need to get up a few times in the night to use the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was a dream for people who like a sweet breakfast with pastries and fruit (like me!) , but there was nothing for my husband who only eats protein (such as bacon& eggs) He enjoyed the coffee though!

Beautiful old property sympathetically adapted to give you modern amenities.The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious-as was the espresso!

Bathroom was a little tired but having said that the shower was lovely-really powerful 😊

The rooms were spacious and well furnished.

The noise of the road traffic could be heard loud and clear. Since no one can do anything about the location, maybe some soundproofing measures would enhance the comfort and therefore the rating of the hotel.

Large clean room, breakfast was very nice and plentiful.

The noise from the trains passing and the motorway all night, so we didn't sleep very well. We would stay again but would ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.

Breakfast was ok, but a lot of sweet bakery and little “normal” breakfast food. Restaurant was closed. No charging for E-auto. Not too friendly staff.

Nice, big room with a comfortable bed. Briner is a good restaurant with home made pasta. The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, selection of pastries and possibility for ordering egg dishes.

The place is far from other localities. At night the train can disturb to the northern side.
