It’s a characterful building very close to all the main sites. We received a very warm welcome from Enrico who made sure we were comfortable, helped find bus times and was very happy to engage in conversation in English or Italian.

We were personally very happy, but guests should know that although the listing gives every impression of breakfast being available there is only a coffee machine in reception and a coffee machine and wrapped croissant each in the bedroom. Also the lift only goes to the half landings but Enrico was happy to help with the bags.

Huge, beautifully furnished room and bathroom! Impressive lobby, too, and with free tea and coffee facilities both in room and lobby. Completely quiet, and dog friendly too. The owner/caretaker was super friendly and accommodating, and even came back to help when we couldn't remember where we parked our car. Even our fellow guests were nice! And old town Piacenza is delightful.

The guesthouse is well hidden, in the old town, so we were concerned about driving in the traffic restricted zone - but the owner/caretaker sorted a permit for the relevant subsection. No parking immediately by guesthouse, as it is in the old town with very narrow streets

The Domus is a great place to stay; I highly recommend it. My room, with a shared bath, was spotlessly clean and quiet; the bathroom was also clean and had lots of hot water (just wait a few minutes for it to flow). Though the room was small, there’s a delightful common room with tables and whimsical artwork by a local Piacentine artist on the walls. The location couldn’t be better - within easy walking distance of the train station, the main piazza, piazza cavalli, the Farnese Palace, and lots of charming small shops and restaurants.

Everything was really good! I liked this affittacamere (b&b) a lot. The location and staff (host) were great, and the room (upgrade +. thank you so much - how kind of them! Didn't expect it) was large and comfy, with excellent bed, bathroom, Mini colazione and coffee! All for a very good price. It was perfect for my one night stay (for concert) in Piacenza. I would definitely stay here again. Grazie mille! Highly recommend.

Nothing - all good

Very nice room for us 3, with terrace, in the middle of Piacenza. We parked 300m back before the ZTL zone, which costs only a few €. Room was very clean, bathroom had shampoo and enough towels, there is an entrance area where you can take tea etc, and all was well decorated. Airco worked perfectly. The host was very helpful in finding us a restaurant, will definitely stay here again !

absolutely nothing

Great price. Fantastic location close to the Piazza del Duomo, but it was so quiet at night that I was able to sleep with the window open. Everything was very modern and clean even though it is in an older building. The room was very tastefully furnished and the shared bathroom was spotless. The rooms are a floor above the reception, so once you have all the keys (the street door, the security door inside and your room door) you can come and go as you please and you don't even have to go past reception!

The only issue I had was that I checked out early around 7:15am and no one was there. I always like to hand the keys over to someone so I know I've truly been checked out. The sign did however say that breakfast is served starting at 7:30, so I guess someone would have been along shortly after I had to leave.

Such warm and welcoming staff who made us feel so comfortable and went out of their way to accommodate an early check in. They even helped with our luggage. Room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Communal area was calm and peaceful. Location was incredible - a short walk to the train station and a minute or so to the square. Thank you for having us.

Good location and great hospitality. I had pain on my body from long- distance bicycle travel. The owner helped me to find a farmacy and get a right medication. Even he solved a problem with laundry from rainny days. Room is quite big for a solo traveler and all facilities are well managed. Grazie mille!

Rooms are clean and spacious, the building is lovely and in the city center, staff was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, they also recommended great places to for food and breakfast and amazing further tips for our travel from Piacenza

It was perfect - nothing to complain

Everything is great! Super clean and full of facilities. The apartment is between antique and modern so I enjoyed it! The staff is lovely and she helped me a lot. Definitely, I will stay here again!

It'd be perfect if there was a mirror inside the room. Because we have only a small one in the shared bathroom, sometimes I could not find time to prepare myself out!
