This has the best bits of a hotel and an airbnb. Lovely gardens with shade, sun loungers and lovely wrought iron tables with white linen. Very beautiful. Bar available for drinks. Pool with great views. I’d guess about six suites sharing the facilities. The house is a peaceful retreat a little way from town. We walked but it’s quite a long walk so ideally you’d have a car / e bikes to get to the lake / town for restaurants. Ample parking available. Our flat had a lovely terrace overlooking the lake.

Take your own soap ! I think they have a (highly rated) restaurant but it was closed the day we were there (Monday). There was a fridge and a sink in the flat we rented but not full blown kitchen.

Big room and comfortable bed, clean, nice view to the lake a bit limited but still nice to have.

Old style room with no value of hidden kitchen, no table&chair on balcony, so we had to bring out the chairs to sit outside on the balcony. Price looked overrated to me. To get to the beach and the city had to walk a few km which ok with the dog but still thought it would have been closer... swimming pool useless due to cleanness.

The room was equipped with the essentials- take a cork screw !! The hosts were delightful and we were made to feel very welcome. The room was well positioned and comfortable- we were on the ground floor and access to two doors opening to the wonderful gardens . The pool looked good but we didn’t try it. Breakfast was a good continental. Despite heavy thunderstorms during the night we really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant below - a separate business but food and service just as good .

We didn’t seem to be able to access the lake easily because of the campsite using the shore but the walk into town is about 25 minutes

We had only booked it for an overnight but this could be a good base in the region. Comfortable large rooms, garden with pool, restaurant just below and few within walking distance, it was really very nice. The room has a sideboard hiding a hidden kitchenette (we didn't use it) and a fridge (very useful in summer!) The garden and pool were delightful. Parking was well shaded by trees, keeping the car cool.

It is right by a busy road and the parking is on the other side of the road. There isn't really an easy through road going towards Chiasso, though the winding hills route is rather impressive

The owners who run the place are the most amazing couple, so friendly and helpful and Camilla their little poodle is the cutest member of staff!!! I cannot rate this place high enough, it’s like home from home, I would come back in a heartbeat!

Just the bed. Was a little uncomfortable, but that’s only for me as I have a bad back!

Excellent location. The whole area is very serene, peaceful, nestled in the mountains. The folks are charming and accommodating even if you do not understand Italian. The hostess helped set up the sofa bed for my daughter which was perfect!

it was on us that we didn’t ask for a wifi password after we checked in. we just assumed we could use the one we got at the restaurant which wasn’t the case. We also didn’t ask about air conditioning - we opened the patio door to cool down and didn’t know if there was any.

Amazing hosts!! We arrived waaay too late in the evening, passed check-in and bedtime...... But they were so sweet and helpful and we ended up staying two nights. We felt at home and the hosts did everything to make us feel welcome. Very genuine people! The area was really nice for dogwalks and we had lovely breakfasts in the garden. This place exceeded our expectations by far! Would 100% recommend :) Didn't have the chance to try the restaurant, but it looked so cozy too. Good parking just outside.

The owners are very friendly and helpful and the location is pretty good. You can walk to the lake where there is a camping area with restaurant and playground.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. It would be nice if there was some play equipment in the garden for children.

Amazing location overlooking lake Lugano. Beautiful property and gardens, close to restaurants and beach. Apartments very spacious and tidy. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. We had a really nice time. Bonus that it’s pet friendly :)

Great location, directly on the lake, just above the Antico Crotto restaurant. Great view from the pool, the garden is lovely! The owners are absolutely delightful and so nice! It was not easy as our Italian is almost inexistant, but they were so nice.

Sadly the pool is smaller than I thought and quite cold (a little heather would have been amazing but it was already great as is don’t get me wrong !)
