The hotel was immaculate, everything was clean and beautifully presented. The hotel had a lovely family feel and all the staff were friendly, polite and so welcoming. We were especially grateful for all the help they gave us regarding our breakdown. The hotel owner went over and above to track down a hire car for us. The food in the restaurant was delicious, the menu at dinner changed each night with several choices for each course. Everything we ate was so tasty and portions were generous. We certainly ate well during our stay. Breakfast was equally delicious with many different options with something to suit everyone.

The hotel was about 2km from menaggio with fantastic views over lake como. Our host Jackimo and his wife couldn't do enough for us. They were kind and thoughtful Jackimo even came and picked us up from mennagio on our arrival when we couldn't get a taxi or bus to hotel. The hotel was spotless the staff were lovely. We ate in the hotel in the evenings and our host was also a great chef! I would recommend this hotel as a great base for exploring the lake como area. You don't necessarily need a car we got about using public transport. There is a bus stop outside the hotel .A great family run friendly hotel with fantastic views.

Not much I didn't like.

The owners were awesome! The nicest and cutest couple. We said we were on our honeymoon, and they put fresh flowers and petals in the room waiting for us. They were always checking to see if everything was good for us and gave us several suggestions on what to do around there. The pool was also in very good condition and with a great mountain view. The breakfast was overall nice and we had a table reserved for your room.

The hotel is not in a confortable walking distance from the Menaggio village (maybe a 20min hike?), because it is on a steep hill and it is mainly roads for cars, but if you own a car it is very quick to go to the village and return. You also have a park right in front of the hotel if you don't want to pay to park in the hotel itself

Lovely family-owned hotel with a very convenient and cozy restaurant on the ground floor. The gated parking lot was such a fantastic perk, as we had a large vehicle and parking in this area would have been very stressful otherwise.

Nothing, this was exactly what we wanted. If you don’t have a vehicle, it might be a bit inconvenient to get to the ferry area in Menaggio, as it’s perched a fair distance up on the mountain above it. This wasn’t an issue for us.

Lovely hosts, so friendly and helpful. They booked us a restaurant on the first night we arrived and were great with our young baby. Offered swim aids for the pool and high chairs. Felt like a home from home

The buses don’t run very late into the evening, which we knew in advance, but it didn’t affect our holiday or stay. Just worth knowing for anyone who wants a night out in mennaggio

You do need a car otherwise you are isolated. There is a bus stop outside but bus is very infrequent and stops running at approximately 19:00 hrs so you can get into town for an evening meal but great difficulty in returning. Taxis are practically impossible to book as they only tend to do airport runs, one night restaurant owner returned us home because taxis unobtainable, and the hill is too dangerous and steep at night to walk home. This made eating out stressful. There are no restaurants anywhere close by to the hotel. The hotel and hosts were delightful however and would return but only if we had a car.

It was a fantastic stay, the views were beautiful. Pool was ideal . Wish we had stayed longer. The entire family were so helpful in helping me plan the perfect proposal to my fiancée.

Abit difficult to get to without car. Disappointed that hotel restaurant was not available so had to get dinner in a nearby golf club. Can be abit pricey for little necessities like water, beer etc.

The property was extremely well kept and clean, very comfortable and cozy. The owners make you feel right at home. This location is just over a mile away from the water front and the walk back to the hotel is up a steady incline. It’s quite the workout, which we did not mind but some people may not be prepared for this. If you don’t have a car and are not looking for an intense climb back, consider staying closer to the water front. However, this hotel was amazing. We had the most incredible view. Breakfast and dinners were excellent. The owners are fantastic.

The breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly.

Nothing could have been better but it was our fault we didn't know the hotel was so far from the centre. The bus service was limited and it was impossible to walk there because there were no pavements. It meant we couldn't stay out in the evening which was a shame.

The building and the rooms were clean and comfy. The staff really nice and helpful.

The location was a bit tricky. The distance to the beach 2km and uphill climbing when coming back. Busses do stop beside the hotel, but go once an hour (ish) and the last one leaves early in the evening. Only 3 taxis in the whole willage. So a car is, I guess, a must. If you want to have dinner in the hotel, you need to make a reservation in the morning. So no possibility to eat on the arrival day. Although the owners did help us, when we begged them 🥰
