Clean, basic rooms with a strong shower and a great location — overall, good value for money for Lake Como. The ferry terminal is just a 2-minute walk away, which is super convenient. There's also a nice bar and restaurant downstairs with a pleasant outdoor seating area.

The check-in experience could have been a bit more welcoming — a smile from the staff (the tall guy with long hair - possibly the manager) would have made a nice first impression. The hostel has quite a few rules regarding food, drink, and other behavior in the rooms, restaurant, etc. They felt a bit strict at times.

The hostel was located on a hill offering a unique view of the lake and the town. The beds were comfortable and equipped with everything necessary — a lamp, power outlet, and a locker for luggage. There was also a sink in the room. The staff was very friendly. The hostel itself has a restaurant, and both breakfast and dinner were available there — and the food was delicious.

There was only one toilet on the floor, so I often had to wait. It was also noisy because of the restaurant, but earplugs helped — unfortunately, they are not provided by the hostel.

Outstanding hostel with the most modern interior, immaculate views, young and polite staff and bespoke cleanliness. They have a restaurant with the same food rate as the most luxurious restaurants around , divine delicious with a good variety to choose from. And the tiramisu is heavenly tasty. This hostel changes the prospective of the idea of most of the hostels unpleasant images. This hostel is an example of the way how hostels should look and be run. Admirations for the owners and the staff. Above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommend

Location was stunning, staff was really nice and the restaurant and environment was pretty friendly and welcoming. For the price it is undoubtedly worth it. We had a room with a balcony with lake views and be able to have breakfast there in a warm day felt like a dream.

The bathroom was quite dirty and warm water was extremely limited, so it was pretty easy to run out of it and have to shower with cold water. We didn’t have chains to lock our luggage. However our roommates were super friendly and we didn’t feel unsafe at all. Besides, we were offered bt the staff to leave or most valuable belongings at reception.

the view was perfect, the staff was very nice, the check-in and check-out process was supper quick. another thing that me and my friends loved was the fact that it was a very lively hostel, during both day and night. opposite of the town at night, which is very quiet, the hostel was like where the party was.

when we arrived there was a man using our bathroom. we got worried because our room was supposed to be private. once we talked with the hostel staff they quickly resolved this little problem, but we were sad no one cleaned the bathroom (because the man left it dirty.

The views were amazing, I like that they provided towels, beds were comfortable and the rooms were generally clean. Close to amenities and the ferry/bus stop, also close to a supermarket with everything you could need. The other people staying were so friendly, generally very respectful and helpful

Some dust on the bunkbeds but nothing major. No AC so very warm in the night, but provided three fans for the room which was a good touch.

The location was great with less than a 5 minute walk from the ferry pier! The staff were all lovely and happy to answer questions and help. The rooms were good, just a standard 8 bed dorm. They provided towels with the linen, and was all clean. The restaurant downstairs was great and we were given coupons for a free drink with a meal when we checked in. It has absolutely fantastic views of the lake and is near a few hikes!

Close to the ferry and bus stop. Lake view from bedroom with spacious balcony. Cotton sheets, though the bed was not made up. Sizeable bathroom to share between six. Bar and 'restaurant' on site with ample terrace. Friendly staff. Plenty of line for hanging wet clothes. Inexpensive for a lakeside location in August.

Dormitory access a bit seedy-feeling. Tired decor in parts of the building, but adequate. Limited restaurant menu for my fussy taste. First attended by receptionist who refused to look at me when speaking to me, so it was unclear if he was talking to an earpiece.

Really great view over lake Como and very central, friendly & helpful staff, a great cafe restaurant with good food (at good prices) where you can chill out and share a meal with fellow dorm mates

I didn't personally mind on this holiday, but be aware, for those of you who like to cook your own food, this hostel does not have a kitchen facility for self catering.

The view of Lake Como from the hostel was incredible. And had close access to a small pebble beach. The downstairs had a busy bar and kitchen to provide breakfast lunch and dinner to locals and visitors alike. There were lots of young people staying at the hotel/hostel. Hotel rooms had lake views and the hostel rooms had nice big lockable drawers for all my stuff.

The hostel room I stayed in had a publicly accessible bathroom on the floor. The room was small and lacked shelving by the bedside for phones and such. There was a sink in the room with potable water. The bathrooms - toilets and showers - were very small and hard to manoeuvre with. The hostel advertised linen and towels were provided but they were not placed on the bed. The window in the room needs a curtain as there is a sensor light that shines whenever someone uses the back door
