If you’re still doubting about where to stay in Lake Como, let this review be the reason to choose this hotel exactly. We stayed in a room with a terrace overlooking the lake — the view was absolutely breathtaking, making it hard to even leave the room. The hotel is located right on the waterfront and in the heart of a lively street. The moment you step outside, you’re surrounded by numerous restaurants and charming spots to explore. We also opted for breakfast at the hotel, and it was simply perfect — a great selection, real freshly brewed coffee in the mornings, and you can request any coffee style you’re used to drinking. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. This place truly made our Lake Como experience unforgettable, and I will definitely return here again!

everything was perfect

This hotel was exceptional! All of the staff (front of house, housekeeping, restaurant) were so welcoming, kind and helpful, we felt safe and comfortable here. They remembered our coffee orders each morning at breakfast which was a nice touch. The breakfast was a great choice and in a lovely bright space with a view of the lake. The hotel itself is spotless and to a high standard. Our room had a lake view with 2 doors a large balcony which was perfect for enjoying the lake view and town. The location is perfect as it’s right in the middle of everything but we never saw it overcrowded at all, had a relaxed feel about it. Super easy to walk to the ferry and nearby restaurants. The hotel deserves recognition as they work very hard and it’s truly a lovely hotel, thank you.

We have nothing negative to say, we loved it so much.

Everything. The location, of course, with our window on the third floor open on the small square at the lake side, offering a magnificent view of the lake, the villages at the opposite shore and the mountains behind. But also the room itself, simple quite and elegant, in perfect lake style. The personnel was also very nice. The hotel does not have parking, but there is paid parking on the street in front of the hotel and, even more interestingly, there is free parking on the same street, about 400 meters from the hotel.

The hotel is a three star, with the facilities typical of a three star hotel, which is not per se negative, but do not expect facilities of a luxury hotel. In fact, the luxury is in the location itself.

We had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony! The location was right in the main plaza and close to many restaurants, cafes, gelato, and shopping. It was only about a 10 minute walk to the ferry station too. The staff were incredible and helped answer many questions I had before we went and during our stay. It was our first time in Italy, and they helped connect us to taxi services from the airport to the hotel, made dinner reservations for us, and helped us better understand the ferry timetables. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable!

The bed was quite firm, but I laid some extra blankets down and it was a little better.

The location of the hotel was brilliant. The room was just exceptional. The breakfast was also great. However, what was truly wonderful was the staff. We have stayed across at Bellagio and were lucky to be greeted with a smile. The staff here were helpful, went out of their way to understand what you liked and your preference of coffee each morning. The small things just done well. The room, the view Wow, wow, wow. Just loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you so much x

There was nothing we didn’t like!

We had such a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, beautifully kept, and the view was absolutely unbeatable — we found ourselves just gazing out every chance we got. The location couldn't have been better, close to everything we needed yet peaceful and relaxing. As a family, we truly enjoyed every moment, from the comfort of the space to the surrounding attractions. It made our trip so special, and we would return in a heartbeat!

The only small suggestion would be to offer a bit more variety at breakfast.

Centrally located, near the main restaurants in Menaggio. The bed was a great size for 2 people and very comfortable. Bathroom was large too and had conditioner, shower gel etc provided. The staff were really helpful as we had forgotten to bring toothpaste and they gave us a small travel size to use which was great. There is also luggage storage which came in handy as we weren’t leaving until the evening but needed to check out.

Can’t think of anything - wish there had been availability to book a lake side facing room.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming hotel right on the main square in Menaggio. My room was beautifully appointed and featured a balcony with breathtaking views of the lake — a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the scenery. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was generous and delicious. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Menaggio.

The location could not have been better! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at every turn, to the point that they brought in a family member to drive some of our group to the golf course when taxis weren’t available! The rooms were very nice and cozy, and all toiletries and adapters were on hand if needed.

I wish there was a common area for guests to hang out in since we had a large group of people for a wedding but nowhere to gather in between activities or to hang out when it was raining.

Charming hotel. Great location on a small piazza overlooking the lake. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. A short walk to the ferry. The hotel staff were warm and friendly. Our room was smallish, but cosy, clean and had two French windows with stunning lake views. The tourist information office is just downstairs and the lovely officer there provides great advice about what to see and do, as well as ferry and bus information, all with a great sense of humour.
