Fantastic and experienced staff/owners who completely understand how to greet, meet and deal with guests. Fine breakfast, eggs and toast made individually for you. Everything else you could want, breakfast room overlooking lake with panoramic views. New restaurant about to open we will return to sample, I expect and predict it will be excellent. Bedrooms beds are comfortable, mini bars with all contents more than fairly priced. Fantastic views of lake, a pleasure to visit this Hotel.

The owners were very helpful. The husband walked me to my room and showed me where everything was. They told me of places to go. The last day of my stay, I had to leave well before morning breakfast was served. They would have served early, but I was leaving much earlier than was reasonable. I did not expect them to accommodate me, but appreciated their trying to do so! The hotel is next to the lake. I felt like I was in the middle of nowhere, but it was a short walk to town. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Next year, we will stay there for much longer.

My wife and I stayed at Bellavista Valmadrera over Easter for our anniversary, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the hosts, who were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. The entire property was spotless—tidy, clean, and clearly well cared for. It’s a peaceful, quiet place that allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was fresh and satisfying each morning, and we really enjoyed the restaurant connected to the hotel—it was a great touch having such quality dining right on site. The free and secure parking was a big plus, and the whole atmosphere made us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our special occasion. Highly recommended.

When we first walked in we were not so sure, however the end result was a really lovely place to stay. The hotel was neat and clean, a little on the dated side however the friendliness and the position took care of any doubts. Being on the lake and away from all the big tourist spots was perfect. It was towards the end of a quiet street but with a restaurant at the property plus another 3 to 4 only 5 minute leisurely walk, it really was a lovely spot to wake up of a morning open the curtains and there is the lake, wow what a lovely spot. We had our own vehicle to get around which makes things easier but you can walk into the local town of Lecco (yes, very tight roads so a little hairy). But then take one of the ferries on the lake being only 500 metres away and travel the lake is hard to beat, wow. If you are not wanting a 5 star property and also not be surrounded by 1000's of tourists, this is a good spot to see the lake and surrounds.

We had to hand the room key back each time we left plus had to be back by midnight, a little unusual but not that it affected our stay. Other than it is a little dated in style, all that is forgotten if you have a room with a balcony and the view you get to enjoy.

The hotel is a three star hotel but it should be categorised as a five star one, one extra star for the fabulous location and another star for the friendly, good humoured and helpful owners and staff. There’s a real personal touch here, something absent from most hotels and the name BellaVista is so accurate. The view from the balcony of our room was show stopping. Very clean, very comfortable, great restaurant, breakfast and quiet with a boat trip on the lake a walk away; close to Lecco and bus stops to the surrounding area. Alessia and the owners were just great, really added to our time there.

Our stay at Bellavista Hotel in Lake Como has been amazing! We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. The best part is how peaceful it is—unlike other crowded places, we had a bit of privacy, which was perfect since we brought our 7-year-old son along. And the location? Right in front of the lake! The views are absolutely stunning, especially during breakfast. Just that, the additional bed for our son wasn't really comfortable—it was a bit bending. But everything else was lovely! We loved how clean the room was!

I arrived at Hotel Bella Vista on Lake Como with high expectations, and the hotel exceeded them by far. The hotel is impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the owners are charming and welcoming - always ready to help and offer advice. The location is perfect - peaceful and quiet in Valdemarra, yet easy to reach the enchanting town of Lecco. The hotel rooms are comfortable and pleasant, and the lake view is simply breathtaking. I will definitely return here!

What can I say.? This hotel was just perfect Right on lake Como. Overlooking the lake, our room was huge. Carlo gave us a tour of our room and how everything worked Breakfast was included and Carlo and his wife were just awesome. Super attentive and really funny too. We absolutely loved this place. It was too reasonable in our view and should be able to charge more. Nothing, absolutely nothing

Carlo and Christina are wonderful hosts who actually look after you as a family. Views from the rooms and hotel are exceptional, particularly when you’re having breakfast in the lounge. Free private parking was a bonus! You are also a 10 minute drive from Lecco which is a nice small town for shopping, restaurants and bars. Bellagio is a half n hour drive away.

It’s usually a positive thing for many but the hotel is in a very quiet part of the village. There is not much going on in the surroundings and it is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas. If you want to be away from the lively parts then this hotel is a great choice. However if you are looking for a holiday vibe around it, you might be disappointed. You definitely need to be here with a car.

A comfortable family run hotel. Excellent breakfast, family very helpful.
