Great location. Excellent staff. Made to feel welcome and service was top class from front desk, the cleaners and bar and restaurant staff. Really good buffet breakfast with hot and cold options and great variety of choices: fruit, cereals,yogurts, croissants, cakes, cold meats, cheeses, plus eggs, omelettes, pancakes, juices. Best we’ve had in a restaurant for a long time. The terrace bar was an excellent place to get an aperativo and watch amazing sunsets over the bay.

Nothing to dislike. Surprised that the poolside restaurant was closed on the evenings throughout our 4 night stay.

Location was beautiful on the beach, our room was upgraded to the gorgeous palazzo, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The food in the two restaurants was top class. J loved having aperitif’s on the balcony of the Palazzo

The staff was on the whole excellent, especially the waiters but we weren’t impressed with how the reception manager treated us when our washing came back missing my very expensive shirt. She just said that the laundry didn’t get it!! Even though of course I put it in the laundry bag and never received it back.

The location was phenomenal. Breathtaking views everywhere. The rooms were large and clean. The pool and the private beach were amazing. Somehow the food was even more spectacular. I cannot say enough good things about every meal we had. I would recommend this site to anyone. The price is worth it and the travel to get there is worth it. They helped us set up taxis both on the island and once we were back in main Italy. We did a facial and massage while here as well and again cannot say enough good things. I have to come back.

The badly designated beach ambreallla( just at the toilet ), the very poorly equipped GYM, the room aircondition was not able to cool below 24 C. ( even appreciating very high outdide temperature ) .

The staff was so nice! The hotel has so much character and the place is very authentic. Great place for families with you g children. One of the most beautiful places we have been. We will definitely come back!

There are 2 restaurants in the hotel which are fantastic but if you want to have dinner outside the hotel, you need to take the car, you can’t walk.

Beautiful Villa, we were upgraded which was fabulous, amazing beach views from our penthouse suite. Great for on site, breakfast was included great to fill up on for the day. Lots of cocktails and food options at the beach bar, villa bar and hotel restaurant. It was Just the start of the season so not everything open yet.

It's about a 15 minute taxi ride to the town of Portoferraio, if you don't have a car you'll need to hire a bike or get a taxi. One way taxi approx 30 euro. If you have no budget then I'd definitely recommend it. 👌

Great location, amazing view, wonderful trees, easy beach access with dedicated sunbeds, excelent bar area, children play/park area, very good breakfast, the ducks visiting us on the beach 😊.

The beach sand is mostly with stones (not the accommodation’s fault), children park and rooms could use some renovation (bathroom was fully renovated)

Great experience. Very nice location and property, delicious food, quiet and relaxing. All staff is visibly dedicated to (and succeeds in) providing an excellent service - friendly, in good spirit, professional. Special shout-out to the sommelier who really knows his wines!

I wish the property had a sandy beach instead of (mostly) pebbles. Also, the sun beds on the beach are so so for reading (back rest is a tad too short to support head/neck and cannot be brought above like a 45 degree angle; the deckchairs around the pool are much better). E-bike rentals are not very sophisticated models. Perhaps replace them with some decent e-mountain bikes or partner up with a commercial bike rental?

I loved the warm historical vibe this place has kept intact. Located at the sea with its own private beach, It is literally a harbour of tranquility and comfort. The staff is incredibly friendly and attuned to their hosts requests and needs. Cleanliness is impeccable.

Although quite some distance from the main town, the location right on the beach is lovely. Very pleasant staff, especially worth a mention is the man who showed where to park and helped with luggage etc. The hotel's grounds are beautifully maintained and a delight to stroll around and find a relaxing spot, especially at sunset.

The hotel's relatively isolated location means that the only viable dining option is to eat dinner in the hotel. This meant we missed opportunities to try other cafes and restaurants in the evening. Although there were plenty of staff in the restaurant in the evening, they are not well-coordinated and despite appearing busy, in actual fact were quite inefficient in attending to diners' needs or requests. Training perhaps inadequate for young, inexperienced staff.
