Beautiful resort on a quiet mountain near Portoferraio. Nice pool and Tennis courts available for free. Our room had a fantastic view and was very comfortable and practical. Central location on Elba, so everything is very reachable by car.

The uphill street to the resort is in very bad shape and should be restored. Some things like the scrambled eggs should be replaced more often during breakfast, espacially for late breakfasters.

We're finding our bed to be very uncomfortable. We reserved a queen bed, but the one we have is a twin, and it unfortunately separates in the middle of the night.

Lovelly location far from noise.

Should be renovated (everything) do to usage. Ventilators needs to be installed in public areas. No vegetables for breakfast.

Only thing i did not like was the locacion

Fairly decent accommodation in the hills above Portoferraio, it has its best days behind it, but still is quite OK. It has a very nice and quite large pool, with deep end (3m), so you could jump in there as much as you want. There was also a tennis court. The view of the city is quite nice from the hills above it.

The rooms very quite small, and the bunk bed did not have the protective railing installed, so we were afraid whoever slept on the upper one could fall down during the night. The road to the place is a bit of an adventure (very low quality road from one side, outright forest path more suitable for SUVs from the other).

Location. We were always 15/20 minutes from the ferry, the best beaches, and the main towns.

It doesn't deserve 4 stars. Management just needs to read the comments and start making small changes to improve the service without much cost. Starting with breakfast. Elba has lots of local products, agriculture, etc. The breakfast here is only processed products. The rooms are old, they need renovation. But it's cosmetic... painting, etc. - the towels and bed linens are okay, and the equipment is fine. We asked for a double bed and got two single beds pushed together where one mattress is higher than the other... These are details, but the price they charge is high for what they offer. Looks outdated.
