We chose this property for its location and it did not disappoint. Easy walking distance to Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, longer walking distance to Coliseum and the Vatican. There’s a supermarket over the road and breakfast is enjoyed at a lovely bistro slightly further up. Also there’s a taxi rank just outside should you need one. Pre arrival communication was excellent as you have to navigate three sets of locks. Despite being in a city, it was quiet at night. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Should we ever come back to Rome we would definitely stay here again.

Location, location location

Getting in and out of the property was annoying. You have to use a code to get in the main door , then a key to get in the second door , climb 44 steps up to the second floor, then use a code to get in Charme and Chic , and a key to get in your bedroom, however you cannot beat the view from my room the cleanliness, the comfort, the upgraded facility in the room , and location. The breakfast was open very late and therefore useless not to mention the food was a bunch of carbs.

I like the location and the whole experience in the property. Easy communication with the host. They are very kind and helpful. Recommend this place. It’s amazing.

I was in the same property in august then I was in a very beautiful room called ORO. This time I was in a small room called Elva. Elva is small room perfect for one person. But bathroom is i little bit worn out. I recommend to refresh the bathroom otherwise everything was very nice. If you are looking for quiet property this is not your place, but if you looking for very central charm and beautiful place this is the right one.

Clean, tidy and central to most things, your a stones throw away from the designer shops and Spanish steps, 10 mins away from Trevi fountain and 30 mins walk to coliseum and Vatican. Staff really friendly, and helpful, breakfast is a continental style. Central to everything, aircon in room, double shower, Room cleaned each day. Bed was comfortable overall apart from pillows.

Safe didn’t lock, questioned this said there was a key but no key was present. So just left it, Pillows were a little flat and need replacing as like sleeping on a piece of paper rather a pillow.

Charme and Chic is located in historic center of Rome. Really convenient for someone who wants to have direct access on foot. The facilities were very good and it seems to be recently renovated. The staff was polite and Mikela is doing the "extra-mile" for the business with her help and kindness. Super market is only 30 meters far from the BnB and the whole centre easily accessible. Breakfast was very satisfying including salty things, many pastries & biscuits and a selection of coffee, tea, milk and juices. Mikela served us the breakfast and added always a positive footprint in the start if our day. Well done Mikela!

Due to the historic location of the building (old buildings everywhere), the lift was very narrow allowing only one person to use it. That's a tip mainly for families using a stroller. The mattress in the Argento room might need a replacement as we were rolling in the middle of the bed.

Location, good aircon, cute/rustic elevator, nice interior decoration vibe, nice staff & timely replies.

Bed mattress was very squishy and 'sank in'. Bed was also very squeaky upon any small movement.

I tried to make coffee and found the cup was dirty and gross inside. Only the one cup was in the room. Can't ask anyone for a new cup because no one is ever there.

Great accommodation! The only disadvantage is the sound isolation: you can hear literally everything what is going on in the lobby, and they can hear yoy. Not too private for a couple ;)

The location was phenomenal! We were able to walk everywhere and the couple times we decided to be lazy (early morning Vatican tour and train station), we were able to easily get a taxi at the taxi stop right around the corner. We were able to check in a couple hours early but even if we weren't, they do allow you to store your luggage. Overall, my sister and I loved our stay at Charme & Chic and would definitely recommend it!

The bed was not the best. It was super soft and there seemed to be a dip in the middle. It wasn't great but I'd stay here again for the location alone.
