We made a last minute reservation and it was perfect for our day trips to Rome. Close to the train station and with the train/ metro in Rome city centre in about 20 minutes. Restaurant is also nice and quick.

Nothing to complain about

The hotel is clean and has facilities including fitness centre, swimming pool. The breakfast was very good. Places to relax within the hotel. It is a very busy hotel. 21mins from Muratella train station to airport. Train tickets can be purchased from the airport. There are taxis in front of the hotel. From Muratella train station to Pyramide train station, Trasvetere and Ostein. Roma Termini (central train station). Download Tirenitalia app for train times and connections. The hotel gives towel at the pool but require swimming cap which the hotel sale. The staff are happy to help at all times. There is luggage room. Check out holidayinnroma on instagram. Check the weather out in Rome. Least was 32 centigrade in August.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn in Rome and had a great experience. Our room was clean, quiet, and a good size. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options. The beds were comfortable (not crazy comfortable, but we slept well). We also loved the pool—perfect after a day of sightseeing. The restaurant had a solid menu and the prices felt fair. Overall, good value and we’d stay again.

When we booked through Booking.com, it said the stay included one-way airport transportation. We planned to use it at the end of our trip, but at checkout we were told it only covered pickup from the airport, not drop-off—something that wasn’t stated on Booking.com. We were quoted €10 per person, though after some discussion they kindly didn’t charge us. Just a heads-up for future guests. .

We spent three nights at this hotel and it totally exceeded our expectations. Originally we planned for two nights but decided to extend our stay and even took a late checkout so we could enjoy the pool on last day of our Rome visit. After staying at a handul of other ”4 star” hotels in Italy as we were making our way south towards Rome, this is the only one that actually deserves all 4 stars. Pool in particular was great. Water was warm, pool staff very polite, drinks and food available in direct connection to pool area - it was perfect for 35+ C days while we were resting from sightseeing in Rome. Gym is also very nice, it’s not large but it has a decent rack with enough weights and dumbells as well as few cardio machines. We had two rooms during our stay and they were both clean and spacious but ”Superior” one was larger.

There isn’t much of interest around the hotel and it’s quite far from historical part of Rome, even by car. Staff was polite enough but very uninterested with exception of pool guards which were very friendly.

Everything! Kids eat for free. 5.mins walks to train station(not 10 mins according to google). Pool. Great food and very friendly and helpful staff. Claudia and Loduvica really stood out for us. Soo keen and eager to help. Train ticket 1.50 Euro, free swimming caps. Easy to order external food. List goes on and on

Very little honestly. Abit of a commute to city centre but for us, it was a good compromise for price, pool etc. Just go into town with train on some days and return tired with taxi worked for us to save.

room comfortable and clean, we would have liked better TV channels since there is very little to do in the area. the location is good for business but a little too far out of rome although it is easy to get in and out. But we needed to be in the area. very few places to eat nearby. the food at the restaurant is excellent although it is very expensive. the staff at the restaurant are very good . nothing to complain about.

restaurant and bar very expensive and since there is not much within walking distance you are forced to eat and drink in the hotel.

We absolutely loved the pool. It was so hot in Rome so It was nice having a pool to cool off in. We also loved the restaurant. We went there for dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious and the staff was wonderful. We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport for an easy fly out the next morning and the convenience of having a shuttle option to the airport. We are a family of 4 and we got two rooms and it was completely affordable.

The walls are thin and there’s a gap under the door so we could hear everyone around us. We were across from the elevator and ice machine so everyone that came and went on the elevator or getting ice you could here in our room.

The room felt a bit dated—based on the decor, it looks like the last update was likely in the late '90s. The breakfast buffet was fairly balanced and typical, offering a decent variety. The bed was comfortable and made for a good night's rest. One recommendation would be to consider removing the tub. It was quite deep and a bit awkward to step in and out of, which I imagine could be especially difficult for elderly guests.

During our stay, there was a large meeting for a banking organization being held at the hotel, which made the outside areas—especially the pool—largely inaccessible until after the party cleared out around 5PM. While a neighboring hotel did graciously offer its pool for use at no charge, it was still inconvenient. It would have been helpful if the hotel had disclosed at the time of booking that certain amenities would be off-limits due to a large group event taking place.

Convenient location: there is a bus stop nearby with direct access to the business center of Rome, as well as a taxi stand. The staff was polite, the territory well-maintained, and the pool area very pleasant.

The bathroom was in poor condition: the surfaces looked damaged, almost like cut or perforated. There were hairs and dust on the floor, giving the impression that the room had not been properly cleaned before check-in. Unfortunately, the soundproofing was bad, and I couldn’t sleep well.

The hotel is in a quiet place and is also neat and comfortable.I loved how everyone around did mind their own business.I enjoyed my stay with my mum who was visiting Rome for the papal audience and my daughter.

Room service calls were quite slow especially for the restaurant.Had to go down to the restaurant with my aged mum each time we wanted a meal because the restaurant wasn’t responding to calls. This can be improved.
