The location is great. It’s in the heart of a very nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood with plenty to do in walking distance. It’s incredibly close to the Vatican and only takes a few minutes to walk to central Rome. Even the Colosseum is only a ~45min or so walk away but there is a bus and metro that takes you right there. The staff is very nice and helpful and communicative.

The room is quite small, so if you have 2 people it would be tough to spread out your bags, but it was the cheapest place I could find in Rome and served its purpose. You need to buzz in to the property and I got a little lost finding the lobby. The lobby is on the first floor and the rooms are on the 3rd floor. As an American I read it was on the 4th floor and went up to floor 4 and couldn’t find it. Outside of that confusion, it was great.

The room was clean, stylish and cozy. The bed was comfy, as were the pillows. Daily cleaning was provided. Lots of helpful & unexpected amenities like shower gel and soap, tea, kettle, fridge, mineral water. Great location within walking distance to all major sites. Safe district. Super helpful and responsive host Ovidio. Supermarket in front of the entrance (helpful for a quick snack). I wasn't expecting a lot, but the place looks lovely (pictures don't do the justice) and I really enjoyed my stay there - much better than any hotels I've seen on Booking.com.

NOT a complaint - just advice: it takes 1-2 minutes for hot water to reach the shower, just be patient.

We came to Rome to celebrate my mum's birthday, we had an amazing stay in Maison de Marta. Rooms are located in a charming historical building in a beautiful Prati district, we enjoyed our walk from and back to hotel. All the places of interest are located within walking distance from this place, it is super convenient! Ovidio is a wonderful host who meets every guest so warmly and sincere. He gave us all the guidelines about the city, and there was a heartful surprise for my mum's birthday ❤ Rooms are very clean, cosy and warm! Beds and pillows are very comfy. There was a fridge in our room and all the toiletries. Room is small but very comfortable and we felt like at home. Thank you so much for a warm welcome to your city and hotel. We will come back 😊

Water pressure sometimes was сhangeable, but if to wait a bit, it runs good. It can be a bit noisy outside in the morning, but it is Rome and we were happy to wake up early 😃

Nice guesthouse in nice, calm area. Big room with cooking facilities. The room was on the 3d floor, you can use an elevator. Just a few steps from the hotel is a Sitbus shuttle stop to the Fiumicino, a supermarket is just across the street. 10-15 minutes walk to the historical center (actually, Prati is also the center). But the most valuable gem in this hotel is Ovidio. A lot of help, including night taxi to the aiport. Ovidio, many-many thanks for your hospitality!

The location of Maison de Marta was handy for the Vatican, Pantheum , Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and buses going everywhere else including the airport. The area felt safe. The place is old but clean and comfortable. The lift was an old fashioned cage and it was like going back in time. Ovidio was so thoughful and kind. He explained where to go and what to see and how to get there on a map and provided a kettle and iron when I asked and even included coffee and sugar and an assortment of teas . My room was small but functional and I would have no hesitation staying there again or recommending to others.

Our host was very very nice and helpful and the room was cleaned every day. Maison de Marta is located in a very good area, we had everything so close. If we go to Rome againt, for sure we would stay here. Thanks.

It would be cosy to have a kettle in the room with morning tea or coffee but it was not a bad experience at all, given that there are some coffee shops with breakfast options in the area.

The place was very easy to find and there is lots of transport around. I would suggest using FREENOW if you would like to book a taxi and it’s cheaper than getting a taxi on road. Also depending on where you are it comes in minutes of booking. There is also buses that can take you to most famous tourist attractions like Spanish steps, fountain trevi, colosseum. There is also a few metro lines and termini station which can take you to other parts of Italy. When we got to the venue, the staff was very welcoming, gave us a map and explained how we could get into town and offered to help us plan our day. Showed us around and how to use the things in our room. Was always available by reception or by phone.

The shower was warm and sometimes you have to run it a bit before it gets hot. Once it’s hot it’s good to go.

Staff, especially Ovidio was very helpful. Fantastic area, I never needed to use public transport and also lively high quality location with easy access from airport There was daily cleaning Decent size room and comfortable bed

It was an old building, so whenever someone closes a door, you hear everything so if you are a light sleeper, might be a bit tricky. Also the plugs were old, it was difficult to keep my converter connected without it falling. Other than that, all was good!

The room was clean, big, quiet and there's an AC you can control yourself. The bed was comfy and, with the crazy heat outside, I really appreciated the big water bottle upon arrival! The staff were genuinely sincere and helpful, the check-in and communication was very smooth. The location is excellent - within walking distance to all the major attractions. Plus, I travelled alone and felt very safe in the area (which is really nice, more residential and less touristy yet has all what you might need - good places to eat, supermarkets, shopping streets etc).

The location is excellent, Ovidio is a great entrepreneur who helped me during my stay while providing city map, necessary details. It was good to realize that complimentary breakfast is included. Everything was pretty good. Thank you for welcoming me during my stay. If you are looking for a budget friendly option, this is the great choice :)
