I enjoyed my stay at this quiet place. The hotel has a great location, everything is within walking distance. There are many cozy cafes and a supermarket in the immediate vicinity. The description and the photos are true. The room is not big, but comfortable. There is a kettle and tea in the room. There is also a coffee maker in the hall. The hotel is located on the fifth floor of an apartment building, but this is no problem as there is an elevator available. One thing we really appreciated was the convenient contactless check-in process. We arrived late and the hotel does not have a 24-hour front desk, so it was really important for us. I am especially thankful to Ilene for providing us with very clear instructions. It's worth the money.

I would prefer to have separate shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in the bathroom, rather than a 3-in-1 product.

The location is fantastic. There are plenty of restaurant options in the neighborhood if you want to have a meal away from the crowds. The building and property are lovely, clean, and quiet. Our room, 103, was spacious and well appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the A/C worked without incident (though we just kept the windows open during our whole stay in the beginning of October). Room service was available though we did not use it. We took a Ryanair flight from Brussels which did not get in exactly when we expected, but Ilenia was very accommodating and responsive when I provided text updates. If you have more than a backpack for luggage I would suggest a taxi for your initial arrival. The taxi stand is easy to find outside the airport and there is a 55€ fixed fair (October 2025). It took us an hour from FCO when we arrived at around 1700 on a Wednesday, and 30 minutes when we returned to FCO at 0630 on a Monday. I suggest giving yourself 3 hours before departure at FCO if you are travelling outside of Schengen. Also, if you are leaving early in the morning and using a taxi for your departure, I suggest pre-booking the taxi using one of the apps (we used the FreeNow app). After you arrive you can walk anywhere in the city. The "A" line for the metro is only a couple blocks away and there is a bus stop directly outside the property front door. The bus is a public service for which you don't pay, and the metro can be accessed by using apple pay or google pay (tap). Metro is 1.50€ per ride regardless of how many stops you travel.

The only negative I have about this property is the shower water pressure in our room was below what we like. My wife has long, thick, curly hair, and it took her two times longer than usual to wash her hair (if that gives you any context). This is perhaps knit picky, but worth a mention as it is the only thing keeping me from rating this a 10/10.

We were met by a lovely helpful young lady called Aury, who supported us fully in not only our accommodation, but parking for our car as well. The property was stunning. Our room was in a flat conversion on the 5th floor of an amazing old multi complex. The room was very spacious, clean, with everything you could want for a short or even a long stay! In the outer passage you had access to tea/coffee facilities as required. Complimentary cleaning items in the bathroom with additional drink making facilities in your room. The local bus service stop was just around the corner, very handy and easy to navigate. You are in walking distance from the Vatican City. Amazing find.

These are not complaints just personal preferences!! The shower does not have the best water pressure, but is certainly a fab large space. The bed is amazing, but a tad hard for my level of comfort.

We stayed at this apartment for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic – all the major tourist sights are within walking distance, yet the area itself is peaceful and not overcrowded with tourists. It was very easy to find and well connected by public transport. There are also a few supermarkets nearby which made things very convenient. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely come back here next time I visit Rome and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, central, and well-equipped place to stay.

I chose this hotel to relax and celebrate my birthday in Rome, and I couldn’t have been happier with my experience! The staff provided excellent service, with special thanks to Auri, who stayed in touch with me throughout my stay. They gave us clear instructions on how to get the keys and check in on our own since we arrived after reception hours. They also provided great advice on how to quickly reach the city from the airport. The room was spotless, with daily cleaning and fresh towels every day. The air conditioning was a lifesaver in the 35°C heat. The hotel’s location is fantastic, offering quick access to shopping streets, the Vatican, Villa Borghese, and the Colosseum. We walked everywhere, and it was very convenient. I sincerely recommend this hotel!

I liked the clean room located in such a great, safe area. As a solo female traveller safety is important and I felt safe at this property and the neighborhood. The room was cleaned daily, the AC was strong, the bed was firm just how I like it, and theres a mini fridge. It's 9 min walk to the metro and about 20-30min walk to most touristy locations. Thanks so much for helping make my trip to Rome so enjoyable.

Wish there was cable TV

We stayed in Rome for 3 days, and the apartment was even better than we expected! The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and there was even a sofa. The bathroom was well-stocked, and the cleaning service was regular and thorough. I would also like to highlight the neighborhood where the hotel is located – it's perfect for exploring the city, very clean, quiet, and beautiful. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the main attractions, and approximately 9 minutes to the metro station. We are very happy that we chose Maison Piazza Cavour!

The location is very close to the center and also you have a bus station right in front of the building from where you can take a bus anywhere you want. The apartments are very clean and fozy. The staff even though they didn’t spoke english very good they tried their best to help us. And also the free coffee was a nice touch.

When other people arrived to their apartment it was a little bit loud but notihing too much.

Absolutely loved everything, very modern and spacious. Super easy check in and check out. It’s in a great area and pretty much central and within walking distance to most things you will want to see while on your trip. Host was extremely helpful and responsive. Will defo rebook to stay if I ever plan to visit again and will recommend to friends and family if they ever decide to plan a trip ☺️

Everything was perfect. Ilenia was very helpful and answered us almost immediately via WhatsApp with solutions.. We needed a late check in and, unlike other properties, there was no extra charge. The property is in a nice and quiet neighborhood with many restaurants. The room was very large and spotless. The bathroom was also large with a very nice shower. The location was also good for touring.
