Very beautiful location, nicely kept buildings, large room. Comfy bed. Pleasant atmosphere overall. You definitely need a car, but you may also have nice walks within the large (and safe) property. The price is Ok, given that accomodation is very expensive in the area.

Access to the premises is completely automised but you have to dial the code every single time to get in, because the remote control didn't work. This was a bit off putting. The heating was on all the time (we did not find a way to lower the temperature) and the room was extremely hot. Breakfast was average (lots of starch). Communication was rather weird in the absence of on-site staff (there is only a lady in the breakfast room), but Ok with e-mails and what's app.

The location is amazing, surrounded by nature. Peaceful and quiet place, fresh air, far from city hastle. The room is quite big with nicely equipped bathroom.

If you are rushing to have breakfast in the first minutes of opening, you might have troubles. We came about 10 minutes later and lady just started preparing everything. We had to ask for some cheese and prosciutto, otherwise she wouldn't bring it. (It was available the day before)

Lovely picturesque location in the hills south of Bologna. We travelled with a car, so it was easy to get to the house. The breakfast was wonderful and the lady that was preparing it on our first morning was so friendly.

The handles on the room doors are old school metal sticks (probably original) which made too much noise during the evening, when existing to go to the bathroom. On our second morning, we were not informed that the breakfast is in another building and did not manage to have breakfast - even though we made coffee and toast with jam that were found in the kitchen in our building.

The room was huge and nicely appointed. Access and check in was easy. There was a nice lounge and terrace area. Breakfast was good if nothing amazing, worth the money at least.

Location was quite remote, although you might like that, you need a car basically and it's a 20 minute drive to a park and ride. I felt like you could only really drive up to one door, there were fences preventing you from going around the building. It's a bit odd but doesn't really affect the stay. I didn't see any deer! Maybe I didn't look in the right place.

Palace is beautiful and it is nice experience. The breakfastwas nice and the swimming pool so refreshing.

But self check-in is a bit difficult and taking long time, especially when you on holiday, driving car until late and travel with children. The hotel offers the nice swimming pool, but again to access for the first time is complicated.

Vittoria and Geraldina were really nice person , and they helped us as well with a problem during check in occured. Assistance only through whatsapp but for any needs the answer was in 1-2 minute. Size of the camera was huge, it was a tiny apartment with terrace in Ground floor- Room gabriele. Nice to have some caffe capsules free to start the morning

Ground floor but it was indicated, if you are fan of first or second floor room just book the room on first floor

Beautiful place. Elegant, spacious, very comfortable, and the bathtub was wonderful. Very high ceilings, opulent feel. Nice, large room!

Beware: the Sasso Marconi exit on the autostrada has no option to pay with cash OR card! Need the telepass! Would be nice to sleep with windows open, but too noisy with kids in room across the terrace. Small problem! Loved it!!!

Gorgeous country views. Comfortable stay. Owners went above and beyond to make our night car travel there comfortable. They stayed on the phone with us until we arrived at our room. Truly amazing service. The views are awesome and just a unique experience.

It’s truly unfortunate that the owners are wonderful and try to make it all excellent, however that can be overshadowed with a staff member. The lady/staff overseeing the breakfast was extremely rude. After traveling all night, due to an inconvenience/road, we went to have breakfast and her tone of voice and abrupt manner made us uncomfortable. Everyone in the dining area watched as she brusquely yelled “no breakfast”.

What a hidden gem. Found this place by accident while looking for a last minute stay around Bologna airport (just 15mins away). From the first moments in this “palace” (Palazzo), we felt like we have travelled back in time. Very nice and impressive historical building, with so much character. There is very well equipped kitchen if you desire to eat in. Overall, a great value for what you pay! If i will ever be around that area, i would book this place no doubts.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. We felt truly welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay.
