We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of delicious options to start the day. The receptionists were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless, and the romantic view from the window added a special touch to our experience. Highly recommended!

Great location with a pathway to go on walk on your own along the vineyards and to reach another small town in 15 minutes. Love this Tuscan region! Beautifully kept hotel grounds, pool, and dining area! Super special and incredible 4-star find. Will certainly promote to friends.

The main manager/chief receptionist was rude and probably should not be working in hospitality. We asked for a coffee later in the day on our arrival date and he told us that it was not his job description to get coffee. So my dad had to walk around looking for someone else to help him. The next night after dinner we came to the bar room for a drink. The bar tender had stepped out and we asked the same man that was at the front desk to help with a glass of red wine (simple enough in Italy) and he said no. He was not even willing to try. He was the only negative person we encountered the whole time.

I like the location and the views, ot too far from Florence but with nice restaurants around the area and the country side of Toscana.

I didn't like that during the open hours of the bar at night when we arrived, we requested something from the menu and the girl said it was too complicated and to pick something simpler... I found it a bit absurd for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast could have more variety.

The hotel is beautiful. We arrived for 2 nights and enjoined the close location to Piza and Firenze . The pool was open but unfortunately it was too cold to get in. The breakfast was good a lot of variety. The restaurant in the hotel was a bit pricey and the dishes in my opinion was to small but very good . I recommend this place for your Tuscan getaway .

This is my paradise in Tuscany! The villa is amazing, with great rooms, a spacy beautiful yard, pool and beautiful plants. The staff are really kind and they took care about everything. The beds were comfy, we got a terrace with a great view. The food in the restaurant (we had breakfasts and a lunch) was very delicious. We ordered also some wine and cocktails to drink by the pool and enjoyed the sunset. Every detail was well taken care of. My whole family fell in love with this magical place and I hope to return to this villa soon!

We were pleasantly surprised at just how beautiful, modern, and exceptional our stay at Cortefreda was. Our room was spacious with a gorgeous bathroom, balcony, and even a sauna (which was a nice little surprise!) The breakfast was delicious and they served their locally made honey. The restaurant is also delicious and convenient. Staff was pleasant and the facilities were clean and functional. I'd definitely stay here again!

This was a lovely hotel and was a great base for exploring the area. Comfortable room Great swimming pool. Enjoyed drinks in the bar. Great breakfast

We only had one evening meal, which was very good but the menu was limited for my taste. However we did find some great restaurants nearby

Everything was very clean, the hotel staff super friendly and the location very good if you by car and want visit all Tuscany attraction. Firenze and Siena are 20-30 minutes drive, Pisa and Livorno 1 hour. Breakfast is as well very good!

We stayed here the first week of August. This property is a favorite of mine!! In a beautiful location and the pool area is scenic, has a food and beverage bar and eating area just off of the pool. Plenty of lounges, chairs and tables (some with umbrellas) so no problem locating a seat. Had a chicken caeser salad and glass of wine from the bar, while taking a break from the sun, was delicious!! Our room had doors to an outside patio with a table and 2 chairs which was great for watching the sunset!! This property also has a wonderful restaurant on the property!! We ordered the Tuscan steak and some sides and a great bottle of red wine. Our meal was DELICIOUS and service was great!! Breakfast has a great selection and variety. The staff is attentive, caring and helpful!! We hated to leave but we will be back in the future to enjoy this bit of paradise next time we are in the area!! Don't pass this one up!!

Nothing Negative.

The grounds are beautiful; the property itself and the surroundings. Staff is helpful and with good attitude. Our room was spacious and comfy. Breakfast is good food with variety. Location is apart from the city madness but close to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra.

Room walls are paper thin. You can hear people on the hallway and room next door.
