Villa Fillinelle is an incredible estate, perfectly located amidst beautiful nature. The estate is a really old villa, but it's very comfortable and special to be there. We absolutely loved staying there. Giuseppe and Rosanna are wonderful hosts, making us feel very much at home. Our suite was beautiful and very spacious. The breakfast was good and satisfactory. I highly recommend staying here. I think, compared to the location, the price range is fair.

The only comment worth mentioning is that there are a lot of stairs, so it should be taken into account. Additionally, in some suites, the bathroom is not on the same level as the bedroom, which could also be important.

Great location and property. The appartment was really spacious, clean and well equipt. we came with a 1 year old baby who loved all the space to explore and especially the back yard with grass and trees. The hosts Rosanna and Giuseppe and their kids were doing above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and gave us a baby cot and a small tub for the baby shower. The Breakfast was rich and diversed with fresh local ingridients. Our kid loved the scrummbled eggs made by Giuseppe and the fresh fruit. Coffee was also amazing! Rosanna communicated with us via chat prior to our stay and also helped us with a delivery we needed. It was easy to travel around everything in Chianti area was close by and Giuseppe gave us very good recommendations for visit and restaurants. Overall stay was fantastic!

The kitchen had basic cutlery and eating dishes, but didn't have a cooking gear. If you are planning on cooking there it won't be suitable for you. The appartment has only a shower so if you come with a baby or small children you should ask the hosts for some solution (Rosanna gave us a small tub who worked well).

Stay at the Villa Fillinelle exceeded our expectations. It's an 800 years manor run by a lovely family. The property is fantastic - 1) the rooms are super clean 2) the view is groundbreaking - olive oils and vineyards 3) 25 minutes drive to San Gimignano; 30 minutes drive to Sienna and Florence 4) it's super quiet and private, and no one will disturb you. In the morning you get a delicious breakfast prepared with local products - they do have chickens onsite, so it's the best omelet I have ever tasted. We also had fantastic dinners prepared by Giuseppe and Rosana (the owners), and I highly recommend the food and the wine. The hosts are fantastic, and the hospitality is at the highest level.

The villa, room and gardens were all beautiful. Giuseppe and Rosana were lovely hosts and had good recommendations for eating locally. We also had a fantastic meal prepared by Giuseppe in the gardens - would highly recommended his cooking! The pool was secluded and was a great spot to cool down at the end of the day. We would definitely recommend staying at Villa Filinelle.

Very small detail but a sign at the gates saying which buzzer to press or how to get in when first arriving would be very helpful!

Both the Villa and the grounds were immaculate and beautiful. The surrounding landscape and setting make for a very relaxing stay. Rosanna and Giuseppe are wonderful hosts and made our time at Villa Fillinelle very comfortable and memorable. We look forward to our return.

The place is run by a big hearted couple with a very good eye for details and extremely warm hospitality. This is what makes the stay at this beautiful almost 1000 year old villa so extremely pleasant and enjoyable! Rosanna and Giuseppe are taking great care of each of their guests and are making your hideaway from your daily stress to an authentic and very warm experience. Their attention to detail and great love for Dolce Vita in their new home in the Chianti area make it truly special. We can highly recommend to stay there for a week - it will never get boring and you'll always get fantastic food and get to know some local secrets. Both breakfast and the very reasonable priced individual lunch and dinner as well as wine tastings are incredibly good and highly recommendable. We would always go back there again and are looking forward to our future stays with Rosanna and Giuseppe!

Ansolutely everything was fantastic. From the moment we arrived the lovely owners and their family were amazing. Either you are looking for a peacfull getaway, or if you want to visit this very rich region, Villa Fillinelli is placed to be. It was driving distance from Siena and Florence and I felt surprises how easy it is to come and go. You feel at home and the owners are discret and very responsive and present if you need. They don’t push anything but if you like they can cook an italian lunch for you, the chef cooks very very well, and even dinner is a good surprise. We basically did not spend any time looking for restaurants and enjoyed to be pampered by the family. And I am saying that because I generally don’t like very much to be at someone elses place and I prefer hotels for more discretion. As well, they are totally gayfriendly and dog friendly. it was never an issue to be with my partner ane my dot at Villa Fillinelli. You can taste wine in the evening, you can meet other guests if you like to socialise a bit, you can even ask for recommendation. The area is absolutely full of fantastic wine, oil, cheese,….. it’s very very mesmerizing. Pool is deep enough, garden in beautiful and green. Ber are good to., Their espresso is absolutely great and you can just freel free to grab yoirself somethint to drink ans sit wherever you want.. To me the place is fantastic and undersold. Too modest for what it really brings you at the end of the stay. :-)

Nothing special. You could improve the quality of the chairs around the pool and qualitiy of the towels.
