The location is across the highway from the beach, but don't be put off, as there's a crosswalk right out front! Being an avid swimmer, it was important to have quick & easy access to the water. I walked over in about 1 minute! They also provide very lightweight lounge chairs. Amazing breakfast options and great staff! Very near the promenade, which has many waterfront restaurants & shopping.

1. The hotel located just beside the main road, very easy to reach by car. 2. The room is new, very clean and comfortable with a huge balcony. 3. Big and comfortable beds, could sleep very well. 4. The bathroom is new, clean and modern designed, with very good shower, the best shower we had during our one week Easter holidays in Italy. 5. The large balcony with table & chairs, 2 deck chairs and sun umbrella is a bonus! A perfect place for relax if we could stay longer. 6. Very friendly and pretty receptionist who helped us to carry our bag to 1st floor. Thank you! 7. The breakfast is great! So many choice and the food taste very good. Both quality and quantity are great. The best breakfast we had in Italy during our vacation. Thank you! 8. Very good price, worth the value. 9. Free parking direct at the hotel. 10. The hotel is not big but perfect for short or longer vacation. From here you can reach many beautiful villages / towns of Lake Garda too. Just perfect!

We loved everything about this hotel- the wonderful staff, the fabulous breakfast, our spacious well-equipped bedroom with two balconies and a gorgeous view of Lake Garda. Safe and ample car parking at the hotel. The proximity of the hotel to the lake- it is directly across the road from the pebbled beach. The hotel provides sun loungers and beach umbrellas free of charge. The hotel is also a short walk along the lakeside to charming and historic Torri del Benaco with its bustling atmosphere, numerous reasonably priced restaurants and shops. Although quite busy, Torri is not as touristy and commercial as some of the other communities along this side of the lake. There are frequent buses along the lake to Malcesine and Riva to the north and to the south to Garda and on to Verona- but the road is very busy and the buses can be severely delayed by the heavy traffic. There is also a car ferry across the lake to Toscalano Maderno and probably further afield as well. We stayed for a week and the weather was glorious every day- the whole holiday was wonderful. This hotel made our stay. We would highly recommend the Al Caval and would definitely go again.

The road around the lake is very busy and getting to other destinations can be arduous. Otherwise everything was perfect.

they were very accomodating to our stay with a dog. even prepared bowl and treats. a dog park is close by. brakfast was very good, you can order fresh made eggs and coffee. nice staff helped with everything. parking on property no problem. good location in beautiful small town.

bathroom was a little old needs a renovation

We liked this hotel as soon as we arrived. It´s very nice looking, pleasant inside and out and the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. We wanted to check out at 3am but the lady on reception explained that she wasn´t able to authorise that but her manager will be there and 5pm and she will sort it. So at 5 I spoke to her and it was arranged in seconds and she even arranged for our breakfast to be left in a bag in the fridge. Our room was very nice. Loads of space and very comfortable and we had a balcony with a table and chairs

The road outside is very busy and it´s hard to have breakfast or dinner or a glass of wine in the evening because of the noise and that kind of ruins the romantic feel

The hotel was excellent, from the moment we arrived our experience at the hotel was super. The rooms/bathrooms were spotless, well laid out and comfortable, including v comfy beds. We had requested a twin room in advance and found there was a double in the room, this was immediately rectified for us. The breakfast choice and quality was superb with freshly cooked eggs offered daily, in addition to an extensive choice of fresh fruit, cereal, cheese, Meats.

Nothing really at the hotel. Torri is not on the main boat route so navigating other towns on the lake necessitates a bit of planning. There's a good bus service in the area but the roads were very congested when we were there in mid May.

Nice little hotel in a good location with beach access. Parking was included and very easy. We arrived very early and was able to check in which was a bonus. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and was really good, i had freshly cooked fried eggs and bacon.

- although the rooms are a bit outdated, but they are clean and tidy - good location, just a few minutes walk to all restaurants and shops -quiet neighborhood, although the windows were facing the street, nothing disturbed a peaceful night's sleep - pleasant staff - very convenient to reach the lake and the beach - just cross the street, also the hotel allows you to use the beach chairs and umbrellas for free - parking in the courtyard

criticism would be the extremely loud ventilation in the bathroom that cannot be turned off while the light is on, but that's a minor thing :)

We definitely recommend this place if you travel with kids! Close to the beach and downtown. Great location, nice staff (amazing with our son) and great breakfast. We loved our staying here and hope to be back one day.

Super friendly and helpful staff, quiet and clean, amazing breakfast (lots of options of fresh bakery, local cheese, vegetables, eggs, etc.)

The wardrobe was huge, but mainly for hanging clothes, not for folded ones.
