The hotel's facilities and location on Lake Garda are very good and correspond to the descriptions.... :))

The basic furnishings of the double room are solid, although they are no longer up to date, but they are certainly pleasing. Due to the development on the side of the neighboring building (hotel) with a distance of around 3-4 meters, hardly any light came through the room window, and loud noises could be heard from the restaurant kitchens until around 11 p.m. The surcharge for a better room was very hefty and not acceptable in terms of price. The room was therefore unreasonable and should not be offered at all... :((

We stayed for 4 nights in a balcony room overlooking charming harbour and castle of Torri del Benaco. It was a beautiful outlook and I sat reading on the balcony every afternoon/evening. The ground floor terrace is also lovely. There is so much to see around Lake garda that we easily filled 4 days with day trips in the car to Verona, Sirmioni, Madonna della Corona Sanctuary, and Mount Baldo. The breakfast buffet was good and we also enjoyed the first floor breakfast terrace overlooking the harbour. There are plenty of restaurants nearby the hotel with many options for dinner. We had a car, and while the Hotel is in the pedestrian old town, they have a gated car park nearby and the hotel staff transported our luggage to and from our car in an electric golf buggy when we checked in and out which was helpful.

We spent two nights in three rooms as a large family. The staff were kind and amazing, the breakfast was delicious, and the hotel is beautiful and impressive, good location, beautiful area. The parking is a bit further away, but the staff handled the luggage transport smoothly and efficiently.

All three room balconies faced the wall of a nearby building, which was quite unpleasant. In addition, the noise and exhaust from the restaurant's ventilation system were very disturbing. The view from the balcony was far from nice. During breakfast on the terrace, the presence of sparrows landing on the food was very unpleasant and disturbing.

Location, great room, both comfortable bed and clean. Staff very accommodating and pleasant.

I’m uncertain if Torri, the restaurant, is part of the hotel or not but I do not recommend it. While the food was fine, service was rushed and not what you’d expect if it was part of the hotel. Be expected to know everything you want, from drinks/wine, and for each course of your meal. Fine if they time everything for you but my starter arrived before wine was delivered. And main course before starter was finished. The waiters were talking to each other clear across the room about a problem, which made all guests hush up. Terrible service for what seemed such a nice place.

Fantastic setting right on the harbour. We had a twin room with a lake view and it delivered as promised, plus the bonus of a view of the castle. Plenty to do in the little town, lots of restaurants to choose from, plus we were lucky and were there on market day (Monday). Room was spacious and clean, very comfy bed. Staff were all lovely - a big thanks to Doreen who answered many questions! Car park is a few minutes walk away, but the buggy came to collect the luggage - just be aware this only operates within certain times if you need an early start! Breakfast was varied and plentiful, with super staff. Definitely worth a visit!

The air conditioning is not great. Temperatures were 30⁰ plus when we were there, and the unit didn't really bring it down much in the room. It would be nice to have a kettle in the room, but maybe that's an English thing!

Gorgeous, traditional hotel in the perfect setting overlooking the castle & harbour. This location is the perfect base for visiting Lake Garda. The staff were, without exception, very friendly, professional & helpful. We particularly enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with beautiful view, spritz in the evening out front whilst people watching & the secure parking was definitely a bonus.

When we book a room with a balcony and lake view, we will always worry if the hotel will be able to fulfill your expectations. We got a wonderfull room with balcony and a spendid lake and harbour view. Could not wish anything better in Torri del Benaco. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. And we loved having our breakfast on the 2nd floor terrasse, overviewing the harbour and the lake. We loved every minute of our 12 nights stay. And the whole staff - reception, housekeeping and waiters - was wonderfull, with a "no problem" attitude.

There was nothing that we did not like. We loved it all. The only thing we were missing on the breakfast buffet was freshly baked baguettes. But if we find it too hard to miss freshly baked baguettes, on our next stay at the hotel, we can easily fetch them ourselves at the nearby bakery/alimentares

The location was great, plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops around along with the daily ferry that takes you to other places on the Lake. The market every Monday was a nice surprise as well! The breakfast on the balcony was a beautiful start to the day, and the cocktails from the bar were gorgeous! The view whilst having a drink and watching the sunset over the lake is a memory that'll stick with me for a long time!

Nothing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was lovely and the room was gorgeous (the shower was incredible as well!) I would stay here again if we ever come back to the lake!

Everything was at superlative! The Hotel, the people, the room, the view, the breakfast, the city! 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ are not enough to rate the experience at Albergo Gardesana. It's like traveling back in time but high class 🍾🥂

What’s not to like! Location is fantastic. With everything you need in walking distance. Personally I like to hire a car so I drove that from the airport and the drive is stunning. There is free, secure parking available across the road from the hotel. It’s very rare that you find a hotel which takes all of the boxes, this is one of them. No leaky shower, a super comfortable bed, blackout, blinds, working Aircon, no excessive noise, and really helpful friendly staff.

Look, I think this is a fantastic hotel, the only criticism I would have is that I found breakfast to be quiet basic, however, there is nothing stopping you from finding a local coffee shop and having breakfast there.
