The location of the hotel cannot be beaten, 100m to the castle, and also right next to the ferry pick up/drop off The breakfast was lovely, good selection and always being replenished. There is also “extra” payable options such as omelette that can be ordered The pool is just a good size and all day use of the spa facilities which was a nice option The staff in the restaurant/bar area are lovely, special shout out to Marco, Elvis and Sandra who were always so happy to help and smiley The seating area at the pier is lovely to watch the ferry’s and the sunset

There is a particularly strong smell of ? Sulphur in the spa building, however you do get used to this but it can be quite strong throughout the day We opted to upgrade to a balcony room, however at our balcony was a large tree which left us with no view and unfortunately meant we did not use the balcony as we had hoped, I would advise asking to see the room before paying if you choose to upgrade

The location of the hotel is ideal as it is right at the entrance of the old walled town, so it on the doorstep of all restaurants, gelaterias and the bus stop that takes you out of the area to various destinations such as Desenzano, Peschiera, etc. It is also situated right next to the ferry port for exploring other towns around the lake. Breakfast included all you could ask for including eggs, bacon, sausages as well as fruit, pastries, cold meats and cheeses. My only suggestion would be that coffee orders could be taken a bit prompter for the likes of espresso/cappuccinos but you can pour your own americanos from the filter coffee pots anyway if you feel you can't wait! We paid for a slightly larger room and it was nice and spacious as expected. Previously we've had a room with balcony looking out over the marina which was beautiful. Rooms cleaned to a high standard each day.

The only faults would be that coffee orders could be speedier and the stair carpets are looking very worn now but that wouldn't ever put is going back to the hotel! Nothing else to fault in the hotel. I just love that you can use the spa facilities which are so relaxing whenever you please.

This is a good hotel with a high level of service and its own thermal spa. It is located near the Scaliger castle in the center of Sirmeone. Delicious varied breakfast, pleasant staff, excellent restaurant terrace on the lake shore. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings. SPA only positive reviews.

the hotel already needs renovation. the carpets are dirty, the walls are shabby in many places. the windows of our room overlooked the square, so at 4.30 in the morning we woke up every day, as we brought food to restaurants. so if you want to sleep well, you need to take a room with a view of the lake, it will be more comfortable there.

We loved the hotel the spa and room was clean and tidy

One thing that let the hotel down was the fact you could not sit outside and have drinks in an area where there were lots of tables available. One staff member in particular was very rude and told us we could not sit there despite loads of free tables and that we had to que up and wait for free tables right next to the lake even though we was not bothered about sitting right next to the lake. This Resulted in us not spending money on drinks in our own hotel and so we went elsewhere. Disappointing really as everything else was very nice.

The hotel is perfectly located just through the bridge to the castle. The balcony looked over the lake to the west and has amazing views of the sunsetting. The ferry port is literally right outside and the staff were amazingly helpful. The spa is across the path and this was a real treat. Our room entitled us to 2 hours per day - just bliss. We bought a couples massage and it was a well spent 50minutes. You do need to book the spa in advance as it gets busy. The breakfast was included and with a good selection of hot and cold foods. Breakfast opening times are from 7.30 to 10.30.

Some aspects of decoration are a little tired but kind of fit by an older era of elegance.

We loved everything about our stay here. The location in Sirmione right next to the castle is perfect. We had a beautiful view of it from our room. We spent lots of time at the pool overlooking the lake, the water was very warm and it was very relaxing there. The spa facilities are spacious and clean - loved the sauna and steam room. The restaurant terrace has amazing views over the lake. The breakfast had a good selection. The staff were kind and professional. We had two joined rooms with our small kids which was perfect and the rooms were comfortable an cleaned. Would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely come back.

The lifeguards were a bit strict and we got told off for silly things like a cup of water by the pool, or being in the water too long. We were with smaller kids (6 and 3) and I guess the pool isn’t really geared towards small children (though they really enjoyed it)

The location is almost perfect apart from the fact there is no access to swim in the lake or access to a beach. The hotel Spa is excellent and the entire hotel is very well maintained and clean throughout. The standard double rooms were Very very cramped however the free toilettres and many towels gave it a nice touch. breakfast was good with a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the lake. Staff were always absolutely ON point.

The outdoor pool was thermal heated which was not useful or refreshing at all in Julys heat. Understandabky this is a spa and thermal facility but This was not advertised at all on booking.com and we booked on the impression we had an outdoor pool to cool off with indoor Spa facilities….

Location is perfect staff excellent

The spa is not properly managed…. at times there was only a handful of people around the pool but ALL the sunbeds had towels /hand bags on them as they had been ‘ reserved ‘ in some cases these stayed unoccupied for several hours meaning that everyone else had to use the indoor loungers ….. the staff then get annoyed if you go for a swim then go indoors wetting the floor ….there is also ‘ confusion’ as to what constitutes acceptable footwear …. I was told my plastic slip ons were not as they were deemed outside shoes but there were several similar slip ons ( men and women’s at the side of the outside shower ? We got tired of this and paid for a 2 hour session up the road at the Sirmione health spa

Brilliant location right on the waterfront. Handy access for the ferries and all the restaurants.rught by the castle. Small outdoor pool was good. Staff on reception very friendly and helpful.

Let down by a couple of things. No kettle in the room or coffee machine, these days most hotels have a kettle. Easily rectified at a small cost. Restaurant was like faulty towers. No one had a clue what was going on. Breakfast was ok but not brilliant. Food not hot. Staff in the evening were dreadful, service awful and our meal was the worst we had in Sirmione. Sat in the lounge later on and despite 3 bar staff watching us, not one came over to ask us what we wanted to drink so we walked out.

The location is really nice. The hotel was very clean, with spacious rooms. Pillows and mattresses were excellent. At our arrival we became a discount voucher for the restaurant and it was absolutely worth it to go. The service was impeccable so was the food, we really enjoyed that evening. You can take breakfast at the terrace and it is really nice with the views to de lake. Breakfast was good for a hotel of this category. Spa was excellent. Also the treatments I enjoyed with my daughter. I missed that it stayer for may be one or to hours longer.

Prior to my arrival I had an email exchange with the hotel regarding the time to leave the parking space, as I wanted to rent a boat trip. The did not reply promptly and they only answered my questions after insisting several times. Ones I had the hole info, the trip was fully booked and we missed our chance. Staff in person is really nice, however on email they are a bit dry, might be due to their amount of work, but hey, other Hotels manage it perfectly. I missed some kettle with tea and so on in the room. Would have been nice.
