Excellent location, clean and modern rooms. Best of all were the staff, especially Tanina at the front desk. We felt that we were personal guests of hers, she was so helpful and went over and above with everything we needed. She even contacted a doctor and arranged a medication prescription for an eye infection. The return airport transfer provided by the hotel was a lot better value than what we paid to get there. The breakfast is at the restaurant a few steps away and is very good, not a buffet but a table service breakfast. There is a good mini bar, some snacks and they left us a gift of a tote bag. There were many cosmetic products in the bathroom. The only small thing missing for me was a full length mirror but that wasn’t essential! I can’t recommend this hotel enough and Sirmione itself is just beautiful.

Tanina, at the front desk was absolutely the most helpful person I’ve ever meet when traveling. Her recommendations were spot on- best dinner ever at Michelin star restaurant and incredible good value. Also walked us to the port for boat cruise around the island, SHE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! We were so impressed with every recommendation she gave us from the authentic gelatos, to timing to see Castle Scalageri to avoid crowds. She walked us to the breakfast place- next door 100 feet and it was outstanding as well- eggs , pancakes with fresh fruit pastries etc. PARKING IS INCLUDED,and they have a special lot and they bring you to and from in golf cart. The hotel also sticks minibar with water and juice and coke- free and chips💕

Noisy weekend due to bank holiday and lots of crowds

Whole experience of staying at Casa Scaligeri was great and lived up to the reviews! All of the staff were friendly and helpful, in particular Tanina who was brilliant in showing us the best places to visit/eat and best activities to do in the area, booking dinner reservations and excursions for us! Room was lovely and spotlessly clean and very quiet given central location, which is tremendous. Breakfast exceptional and lovely being able to eat outside in the square. Would definitely stay here again!

Minor point, but would have been useful to have a full length mirror in the room.

The room was perfectly spacious for a couple to stay and was very clean, housekeeping service your room each day throughout your stay. Location was perfect, right in the centre of the small town and the breakfast included across the way made it excellent value for money in my opinion. Hotel staff were extremely welcoming and happy to assist in any way they could, in some circumstances going above and beyond.

The only thing I would say as a negative (and it really is a small thing) is there is no mirror in the room, other than just the one in the bathroom. A full length mirror or just any mirror of some sort would have been good to get ready whilst someone else is using the shower for example.

An amazing, luxurious and welcoming hotel. We stayed here for just 1 night on our weekend break in Lake Garda. As soon as we arrived we felt welcome. The receptionist was amazingly helpful and we were recommended a great restaurant for pasta - Trattoria la Fiasca. The room was stylish, clean and comfortable. The breakfast, which is served in the restaurant across the street, was amazing. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The hotel gave a luxurious, boutique and tranquil feel which made us feel peaceful and relaxed throughout our stay. I would absolutely stay here again if we are ever in Sirmione on a future holiday. Thank you!

We stayed at this hotel for one night and had a fantastic experience. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel manager went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, offering thoughtful recommendations and making us feel truly welcome. The service was outstanding, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the hotel's central location made it easy to explore the area. If you're looking for a place with warm hospitality, great attention to detail, and a perfect location, this is definitely the hotel to choose. Highly recommended!

Loved everything

Our stay at Casa Scaligeri was absolutely magical. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the old city, with everything within walking distance. The hotel itself is beautiful and spotlessly clean. We stayed in what we believed to be the “smallest” room, but it was anything but small. The room was incredibly comfortable, with plenty of space for two people, two suitcases, and two large backpacks. We even had a few cupboards for extra storage. It was truly the perfect cozy retreat. One of the highlights of our stay was Tanina at reception. We were excited to come down every morning just to say “ciao” to her, which felt like a lovely tradition she shares with all the guests. We’ve been home for barely a day, and we really miss Tanina. She was incredibly helpful in pointing us toward authentic Italian experiences, helping us find the best places that truly reflect the local culture, rather than those tailored for tourists. One day, when we weren’t sure what to do, we asked her for advice, and she not only gave us great suggestions but also booked everything for us, making our stay that much more special. She even helped my boyfriend organize the most beautiful proposal, going above and beyond to make it an unforgettable moment. Her kindness and attention to detail truly made our trip extraordinary. The included breakfast was fantastic and so worth the price. It’s located just across the street, and Tanina or the other receptionist will walk you there in the morning and get you all set up, which was a lovely touch. While I’m excited to explore more of Italy, I already can’t wait to come back to Casa Scaligeri. It was an amazing experience from start to finish, and I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.

Everything was perfect

Over the last 50 years, we have been fortunate to have traveled all over the world. While we have enjoyed great service at a number of different locations, Tanina, the host at Hotel Casa Scaligeri, is in a class of her own. From the time that we made our reservation until we arrived, she unfailingly timely responded to all of our questions or requests for assistance, steering us time and again with her local knowledge and connections. When we arrived, we saw how she “adopts” each guest as a member of her family, ensuring that they enjoy every aspect of their stay at the hotel and their time in the area. From literally walking us to restaurants (so that we did not get lost and the restaurant owner knew that they were to take good care of us), to proving guides for our day trips to nearby sights, there was nothing she did not oversee to perfection. Sirmione is a beautiful location, made even more so by the wonderful Tanina.

The hotel is well located inside the historic section of Sirmione., and is well appointed with clean, beautiful modern rooms. The friendly and knowledgeable staff provide exceptional service. Breakfast is served by the beautiful cafe on the corner, again with outstanding friendly service and portions which exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this hotel if considering a stay in beautiful Sirmione.

There is very little to fault as the hotel provides a quiet contrast to the busy crowds lining the streets during peak season.

I love to stay in this hotel. The manager, Tanina, is very helpful and supportive. She guided me the way to find the car park. She is eager to help me the places to go in the hop on and off at ferry tour. The hotel host gave the guests a lot of gifts including bags, facial cream sets and biscuits and drinks. The breakfast is to go to the nearby cafe where I can select a lists of breakfast sets. Tanina is very cheerful and energetic. She works from early morning till late evening. I enjoyed staying in this hotel.
