Elena and Fabio are exceptional hosts. Their staff are all friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. Our room looked out over the garden and lake, and we used the balcony every evening. We used the hotel bikes and were given help in planning a wine tour and a day out across the lake using the ferry. Sirmione is a beautiful place, I'm so glad we chose hotel Catullo for our visit.

There was nothing we didn't like but hadn't realised we could have stayed at the hotel for dinner. We were there out of season. Some info in the room would be really helpful

Exceptional in all aspects - location, staff, comfort, cleanliness and breakfast. The hotel is so central and it was wonderful having the pretty gardens extend to the Lake - swimming in it during the day and then watching the sunset over it with an Aperol Spritz in the evening was magical! We were upgraded to a large lake view room with a balcony (wonderful) and were even given a room to use for the day after check out as our flight home from Verona wasn't until the evening.

The best hotel we stayed at during our 2 Weeks in Italy. Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff who were so helpful and friendly, and the hotel includes the most amazing breakfast you will ever see! There are free activities offered by the hotel also, including a boat trip and wine and cheese tastings. The lakefront location and facilities, including provision of tea/ coffee/milk when requested, made our stay extremely comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here when in Sirmione / Lake Garda.

Hotel Catullo is truly a gem in Sirmione. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The hotel offers convenient transfers to and from the parking area outside Sirmione, making arrival and departure easy and stress-free. What truly sets Hotel Catullo apart is the extraordinary service provided by the brother and sister who run the hotel. Their hospitality is second to none, welcoming, attentive, and always with a smile. The entire restaurant staff match their dedication, offering impeccable service that makes every meal feel special. Speaking of meals, the breakfast deserves a special mention, it is genuinely the best I’ve ever experienced in any hotel. An incredible variety of high quality options. You can enjoy it in their lovely patio area, perfect for drinks or snacks during the day. The rooms are extremely comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities you could need. Clean, quiet, and ideal for a night’s sleep after exploring the town or enjoying the lake. As an added bonus, on select days the hotel offers free boat trips on Lake Garda and wine tastings, a wonderful touch that showcases the region and adds so much to the stay. Overall, Hotel Catullo is a place full of charm, character, and exceptional service. Highly recommended. Looking forward to return.

Everything was exceptional, especially the kindness of the personnel, the service, the location. We had twice dinner at the terrace at sunset and the atmosphere was great, the dishes very tasty. The terrace is great for sun bathing. The property offers some special events for free for the guests: we had local wine tasting with cheese: great. The rooms are comfortable and calm in a typical style. We could leave our bikes in the garden. Breakfast was good, great variety of sweet cakes. The only thing that could have been even better is tot have more variety of fruits. The personnel was very attentive for my husband needs for gluten free breakfast and dinner The best Hotel I have stayed at.

It was in the heart of beautiful Sirmione making it quick and easy to get to the shops, restaurants, spa, beach or gardens. The service was the best part. All the staff was exceptional. They made us feel welcome from initial contact and helped us coordinate our arrival and departure from the nearest train station. The breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve seen at a hotel. The spread of food was huge and most importantly it was delicious! They had savory and sweet options. They had juice, milk, and made cafe to order. They had an absolutely gorgeous outdoor garden space. It also had a wonderful private outdoor seating area right on the lake. This made it a perfect place to enjoy the sunset over the Dolomites mountains. We would stay here again in this inviting, friendly hotel again for sure. We stayed here as a couple on our anniversary but it would be great for families or individuals as well.

Amazing location in Sirmione old town, close to everything but still when you enter, you can escape from all the chaos. The room was wide and clean with daily roomkeeping. The bed was comfortable. The quality of the restaurant/bar is superb, you can find almost everything in much better quality compared to other restaurants. The breakfast was also great with high number of options. But what I enjoyed most and why I would definately come back was the service. The service was excellent with smiles, a welcoming, helpful attitude and joyful moments. I would definately recommend.

Location is super: right on the Lake, big lovely outdoor garden patio for dining, cocktails. Walk to everything. Breakfast buffet was utterly amazing. The owner/managers are super gracious, friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and professional. They get 5/5 stars for making our stay totally fun and enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable.

We were on a waitlist to upgrade to a lake view room but unfortunately none became available. Our room and bathroom were small and a bit awkward to move around in, but we got used to it and made it work!

One of the best hotels me and my husband have ever stayed and we travel frequently. Elena and her brother run the hotel with passion and pay attention to decor and cleanliness, quality of food, and service at the breakfast. No thing is a problem. Accomadating and helpful . The hotel is at a very good location with a parking facility . I am so happy with my choice. Love the traditional character of the hotel decor and delicious plentiful breakfast . Gorgeous location, right on the lake (by which you can have breakfast, or evening n drinks, if you wish), and incredibly convenient for all you'll need in Sirmione - the local thermal spa, charming and small grocery with local meats and cheese, shops, beach, Roman ruins, boat trips, and more. Bikes are available to borrow when you want to go further afield. The hotel and the owners themselves have great character and charm. Not stuffy or overly formal.Charming and very helpful owners. All the staff were really lovely. A fantastic, sumptuous breakfast spread with amazing choice - for every taste. Lovely, elegant, and spotless rooms with that essential AC (for the warm nights). They kindly upgraded our room to one with a better view (i.e. lake) at very late notice when one became available. A perfect place to go for a calming, peaceful, and rejuvenating holiday. I recommend you ask Fabio for a delicious vermouth with ice in the evening, and enjoy on the lakeshore with the setting sun, or moonlight.
