I liked the idea of adults only. So no whining kids ( we had our part of it before ), no noise around the swimming pool,... Very silent environment. Good breakfast , nice restaurants, dual airco in the apartment, fully equipped, stunning views to the coast including Elba, lots of small (not invaded by tourists) villages around in less than 30 mins drive. Nice for dog owners. No kids, all dogs...BBQ on premises.

Noise insulation of the apartments could be better. I don't need to hear the neighbours talk all night... And after 5 days no orange juice no more a breakfast. Come on ?

Very comfortable accommodation, though there were other apartments nearby it felt like you were in an exclusive resort. The pool area at La Muccheria is amazing & there are beautiful views from there and the associated hotel across the road (where breakfast is served). Staff were friendly & breakfast was amazing, great selection of food and beautiful views down to the Mediterranean.

Check in was somewhat clunky as La Muccheria has security gates so you need to go across the road first to the associated hotel (which also has security gates). Staff were helpful and friendly but for the quality of the establishment the service could have been better.

Superb location, service and restaurants. Breakfast was more like a banquet than a buffet! Exquisite gardens. Delightful to bring our dog with us. Very close to San Vincenzo, ideal for beach and forest walks and for Tuscan nightlife. We fell in love with the region.

Everything was considered. Only one thing was the cold stone floors in the apartment. I recommend either bringing shoes you can wear inside or that they provide slippers.

We spent 10 fantastic days at La Muccheria and would have gladly stayed longer if we could.The property is gorgeous, perched up on a hill with a dropback of the surrounding olive groves and views of the sea. The staff have been nothing short of amazing; on our arrival we were upgraded to a larger apartment, were given helpful recommendations about main beaches and things to do in the area and the team have bent over backwards to accommodate any request we had throughout our stay. The apartment we started in was large, with air conditioning and a nice terrace. We didn't have breakfast at the property, but there is an option to do so and the spread looked great. There is also a great restaurant on site called "Il Sale" managed by the same team; I would definitely recommend trying their tasting menu.

Nothing, everything was great. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again.

Perfect location; the estate is even prettier than the pictures on booking.com. Lots of beautiful nature, and the garden is really taken care of. Lovely staff and it is really nice that you can also visit the hotel that is next to the estate for drinks/restaurant. The kitchen in the apartment offered everything we needed.

Very nice area, not too far from the sea. Nice apartments with a kitchen. A swimming pool. Many attraction with a short driving distance: Etruscan ruins, Roman building, nice medieval towns. Very nice grill bar, with a good selection of wines.

Somewhat too formal restaurant.

Everything! The location, staff, layout of the property is exquisite. Hoping we'll be able to experience this treasure again.

Lighting could be added in the kitchen/sink area. Perhaps add a comfortable chair by the daybed.

The place is just amazing located on a hill top from where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset on the sea. Apartments are comfortable and the garde just amazing. We will definitely come back!

The location is amazing, the staff is friendly and very helpful, and the food is great. We’ll be back for sure, hopefully soon!

Lovely pool area with great countryside view. Basic but comfortable apartments with all the kitchen equipment you'd need.

The beds were single, metal framed 4-poster beds which were strapped together with string. This meant that they were very very squeaky/noisy when one person moved even slightly in the night. Not easy to get a good night sleep. We couldn't find coffee pods to match the coffee machine in any local supermarket. We had to buy our own cafetiere in the end
