I was given a very warm welcome on my arrival, I was shown to my room which had a lovely private grassed area outside with seats and a lounger, with fantastic views over the lake. The guest house is a short walk into the village by the lake promenade to visit the restaurants and bars. If you're after a quiet nights restful sleep this is the place to stay. A very good breakfast is available at the adjacent hotel just a stone throw away.

Everything was to my liking.

The hosts are very kind and friendly! We felt very welcome and we were asked daily if everything was ok. The view is great and it was great that we had the opportunity to eat breakfast at the neighbouring hotel.

You have to take many stairs to get to the beach - can be tough for some people (e.g., when you are pregnant). But: You can also get there by car, there are many parking opportunities in Cannero.

Franziska and Roberta were the best hosts we have ever had a pleasure to meet. We had some tricky favors but they always tried to help us out. The location is great, amazing view! The mattress in the room is very comfortable. The room had a large terrace with sunbeds, a table a chairs. There was a kettle and tea in the room, which we found very convenient. Overall, if you are a fan of Italian old houses, it’s a great place to stay, because it has so much character! And the best part for me was the smell in the house. It was dreamy :)

Nothing really

Well managed accommodation, close to the lake as well as rural tracks. The Villa is an old house with thick walls that enable good insulation during hot days.

The space of a parking lot is rather limited for bigger/ longer cars. There is some noise from the main road during the peak season due to too much traffic.

Fantastic location and wonderful views over the lake. The room we chose had its own terrace and was very spacious. We liked that there were only 3 other guest rooms so it felt quiet but we did meet other guests and chatted which was nice. Great that we could go next door for breakfast. Our hosts couldn't do enough for us- Franzsicka went out of her way to help with the taxi when we missed the bus and offered lots of local information. She was super available and welcoming which made our stay even better.

Being above the road bothered me at first as its very busy during the day- however, it is totally quiet in the evening so it wasn't an issue and I would stay here again.

No air conditioning in the room was a bit of a struggle, although the hotel is in a shaded area and there was a fan.

A fantastic week. The views where amazing. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The terrace was great and we spent many happy hours chilling, drinking local wine and enjoying the location. The hosts where friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Will stay here again

The kettle could have been a bit larger - needed to boil it twice to make a full pot of tea.

Great view and a very nice location close to a beach and a city center. You can get a bottle of wine or prosecco and enjoy the sunset.

The price of having a dog of €40 is over the average.

Charming location with a fantastic view. Really friendly, helpful hosts where nothing is too much trouble. Well thought out facilities and good spacious room with parking available.

The view from our balcony over Lago Maggiore was breathtaking. Early morning sun, and shade in the evening. Classic older home with a lot of Italian flair. Short walk to the beach, which is one of the nicest swimming locations on the Lago Maggiore.
