Excellent Room. Newly Renovated and modern. comfortable bed and nice shower. Lake view was gorgeous. Included breakfast was great with a fantastic view of the lake. A bottle of spring water provided complimentary in the room. Yes, we would definitely be coming back here in the future.

Everything about the room was great. It is on an island so you have to plan your ferry crossing. The good news is there are many ferries per day and I believe there is water taxi service to the island also. There is no kitchen or fridge. It is a hotel room.

Belvedere is a great choice for me and my family. The food, hotel room, services everything is clean and amazing 🤩.

What a gorgeous escape and magical place, tucked away on an Italian island. The ferry was fun, even in the rain, and it was a great adventure with my parents, who have stayed here a few times. I paid less than they did, so they had a fantastic corner view of the lake room, which I recommend. My room was comfortable, clean, and private, and the bathroom was spacious, unlike others I encountered during my trip. I truly enjoyed the three nights here, and the local shops/kiosks and meandering streets/paths are delightful. The restaurant at the hotel is a gem: our fish dishes were so yummy, and the service was good. This is perfect for a special occasion. +I wanted to buy and eat everything!

The hotel dinners were expensive for my budget, but my parents graciously treated me (with wine, drinks, and more)! There are also limited options for other night meals on the island. Everything closes up early, so be prepared. If you want to explore other islands and the mainland, you will need to depend on the ferry schedule and prices, or book expensive smaller boats.

The hotel more than fulfilled our expectations. Price-performance ratio is right. We definitely recommend booking a room with lake view. The extra charge is definitely worth it. The view of the lake at sunrise in the morning is priceless. A very special stay in a very romantic place. The room was nicely furnished and very clean. Cosmetic products in the bathroom were from l'Occitane.

Unfortunately, we were woken up every morning by the sound of the rubbish boat. The breakfast was okay, but could have a better selection.

Three notable aspects: the warmth and friendliness of nearly all the staff (it would be all the team if the maître’d would smile occasionally!); the cleanliness of our room and the hotel generally; and the excellence of the restaurant. We were a early arriving, but Cristina could not have been more helpful and charming in settling us in with a few drinks while we waited for our room to be ready. We were lucky to have the room with a large terrace that offered spectacular views over the lakeside and the chance to relax. But perhaps the jewel in the crown was the hotel’s superb restaurant. The menu and wine list offer a good range of beautifully cooked and presented courses, and it was a treat to work our way through the choice of home-made deserts. The wines were excellent and fairly priced, and the service impeccable.

A small but important improvement would be the designation of a bar area for the exclusive use of hotel guests.

Excellent boutique hotel! Loved the rooms they are updated and clean and feel luxurious for a very reasonably priced hotel on a beautiful island! We appreciated breakfast and the breakfast service as well as lovely views. I painted while on the island and ran out of white paint and the owner Paco was kind enough to get it for us from Verbania! I was really touched with the gesture. Highly recommend this place and we’re definitely coming back to Hotel Belvedere if we return to the Lake District!

Location on Isola dei Pescatori was perfect. We were concerned about “isolation feeling” at night, but we really enjoyed that part of it. Included breakfast every morning was great. Lots of choice. Great view from our room. Daily room cleaning, towel replacement, a treat in the “post COVID” era…many hotels no longer offer this service.

Dining room staff tried too hard playing the “fine dining” role. More relaxed staff and friendlier service would have made the experience better. The lock on our room presented problems from the start to the end of our 3 night stay, made all the more challenging by the lack of lighting in the hallways. Management suggested there was no problem with the lock, but that we didn’t understand how to “turn the key” properly. Have patience if you are in Room 203.

Nice room at the side of the hotel that still overlooked the lake. Lovely bedding, toiletries and shower/bathroom. Nicely decorated. Late checkout 11am as standard and we were able to leave our bags while we wandered around the small island. Dog friendly. Wonderful breakfast.

A small fridge or wine cooler would have been nice as when we stayed there was a big party on and we would have felt a bit intrusive having drinks downstairs. We weren’t told about the additional 20 euro charge for our small dog until after booking the non-returnable fee for the room . This should be more clear so we can take that into account before confirming our stay.

I have stayed here many times and love the position, on the lake, magical and beautiful. the rooms are lovely, clean and fresh, the lake views are spectacular. Breakfast was good and fresh. It is a very special hotel but it is better if you are an independent traveller.

The beds were not very comfy, (I think maybe they have new beds) but the room was gorgeous. There is no service tea, coffee or drinks service ( kettle in the room with tea and coffee) until dinner time. I wanted to come back later in the summer to a specific room. I established it was free for 5 nights and had to book in writing by email at the reception desk. I was disappointed two days later on my return home, to be told I had to reconfirm at the end of June, as it was suddenly on hold for someone else! It is easier to just book with Bookings as the hotel is tricky to book directly with!
