Perfect location. Very hard mattresses, and pillows very uncomfortable but other than that the best little hotel in the perfect spot. Would stay there again for sure. Lovely staff. Just be mindful of driving there. Our GPS took us down a dead end street! And only hotel guests are allowed to drive along the (very narrow)! promenade to the hotel. No valet parking as our booking described. We could unload luggage and then were asked to park at a public car park as the hotel was fully booked. But as we only stayed one night our request to leave our car parked at the hotel was accommodated for an extra charge.

Absolutely fantastic locations, overlooking the Italian shore of Lake Maggiore. Most importantly, would we go back, without hesitation. Boat ferry station opposite, for visiting nearby towns. Local marina also offering boat transportation as well as boat hire. Hotel has a pool and sun terraces, plentiful dining seating. Menu options for evening meals varied. Breakfast buffet style with all options constantly replenished. Staff are fantastic, across the board, whether front of house, or throughout the hotel. Attentive but not overly. Really wonderful experience.

Small personal preference, a coffee / tea /, kettle in room. Though roo service is available at an extra cost for a drink on your balcony to take in the view if you have one.

Beautiful location and excellent old fashioned hotel with style and charm. Excellent room, very comfortable. Lifts worked well. Food was good. Excellent swimming pool. Good value for money. The staff were wonderful and funny and friendly.

As an elderly person, Not a lot to do in the village, not many restaurants or shops and geographically it is a long way from any ‘entertainment’ . There are ferry boats calling into the landing stage to the hotel. Everything is a long way. If you go, take books and walking boots although the walking is steep.

The location on the lake is very nice, calm and peaceful. The Hotel as every thing you need. The Town is one of those gems along the lake with just enough atmosphere of an evening but not over busy. We travelled by car and stored it in the Hotel garage which was secure and under the hotel. Pre book your slot. The staff were fabulous, helpful and friendly. We did enjoy the wine tasting experience in the hotels wine cellar. Some lovely wines to bring home. Definitely go back.

The hotel is very well appointed, in a lovely position overlooking the lake with a pedestrian lane in front of it. The swimming pool was very pleasant and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed taking the hotel boat to Ascona for a day, drove into the mountains another day and visited the Borromeo islands on the third day. We had dinner on two evenings on the terrace and the food was excellent.

The room was a little small but had everything we needed

Beautiful hotel right on the Banks of the lake. Great friendly helpful staff. We had a nicely furnished room overlooking the lake. Cannero is a very small town well placed for trips around the Northern part of the lake.

Paid parking arrangement , namely Euros 20 to park at the hotel overnight , although they do offer the opportunity to park for free in another part of the town. Breakfast although adequate was not the best as it was repetitive and the breakfast area was squeezed into too small an area. There was no food offered that is cooked to order, (such as Omelettes and eggs ).

We love the location of the hotel at the end of the promenade with the boat jetty just outside. Our room looked over the lake which was just stunning. The staff were excellent as we we’re celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and they organised flowers for our room and liaised with the local priest for us to attend a service on the day of our anniversary. The staff really could not have done no more for us. The hotel has a lovely understated relaxed feel but it is still so stylish. We certainly won’t leave it another 25 years to visit again.

The restaurant is very busy at breakfast and 1-2 more staff would be helpful.

Lovely fruit selection and very fresh bread. Really enjoyed the croissants when they were warmed. Would like the option of soft boiled eggs. Lovely coffees and teas. The location on the Lake is exceptional.

I like a duvet and bed was made with a sheet and blanket. Felt water each day in the room could be provided as part of the package.

Location - fantastic, quiet, right on the lake on a beautiful path and within easy walking distance to restaurants. Breakfast - delicious, well stocked and varied. Bar - also right on the water, nice selection of food items and drinks. Bar staff was excellent! Wine cave - quaint, nice tastings and wine selections. Great service! Service - the staff was helpful and friendly.

Mattresses - not very comfortable Room furnishings - a little too worn

Excellent location, everything run by a family and perfectly presented. Hotels own boat provided excellent excursions on the lake. Staff were great, friendly, helpful and efficient. Food, on the whole was very good, but could have done with an egg chef for breakfasts.Cleanliness was faultless.

There were no faults, really!
