Absolutely excellent, we stayed two nights and everything was perfect, we chose a room with an outside hot tub and that was well worth it! Breakfast and dinner was nice too

We loved the hotel and will be back, but it seems like a learning hotel and staff need to be alert to some no go’s. They let a woman into the breakfast room and seating area with a small dog, we love dogs but she was holding it up to the counters and it was sniffing and licking the baguettes etc, absolutely disgusting, plus it was sitting up at the table eating, this is totally unhygienic and shouldn’t be allowed, the dog should be on the floor or in a carry case. Staff should be made aware of this, I told them at the reception but by then it was too late and I’m sure people had eaten what the dog had sniffed and licked 😵‍💫🥹 Another thing that disturbed us was that the staff were busy folding napkins etc in the middle of the restaurant, surely this can be done elsewhere?

What a super place. Easier to reach and explore with a car, but I didn't have one and there's buses till about 22.15 and a lovely walk down into Trento in the morning. What a view! I cannot fault the care - even a breakfast bag at 5am when I had to leave for an early flight. The wellness facilities are pleasant, including rather wonderful massage beds and outdoor jacuzzi as well as a decent swimming pool. The room was billed as single, but it was a comfortable double with a balcony. It would have been useful to know how the blinds and door worked in their full functionality, which I slowly worked out and that made them a lot more useful. And there's a restaurant with broad and pleasant menu as well as a good breakfast with a fresh omelette bar.

The hotel is unique. The location is also very unique and the surroundings are beautiful. The nearby villages are very quiet and friendly. It is the perfect location for relaxing and working at the same time. You can also take a very nice walk to and from the university of Trento in Povo. The stuff is always professional and friendly. This is was my fourth time in the hotel and i will keep coming back. The restaurant is also of high quality but pricy.

There was a young couple in the room next to mine, they had very loud music during the day at the time they were in the room. I had to go out and work in the garden because of that.

Villa Madruzzo is a lovely hotel situated up the hills outside of Trento. We had a lovely room with a balcony in a newer building and view of mountains, it was a decent size, bright and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly including service during breakfast which is a full buffet with every kind of selection. There is a really good restaurant on site so you don’t have to leave at night to eat. There is also a casual local trattoria across the street. We were there during several business conventions, it didn’t seem crowded. We didn’t use the spa facilities. You’ll need a car unless you have a driver.

It’s slightly tricky to find if you aren’t familiar with the area.

This hotel is a real gem - 5 star quality but not at 5 star prices. All the staff - at reception, in the breakfast room, in the restaurant and spa were very professional providing a high level of service and always helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and the food in the restaurant on site was exceptional. They also had a fantastic, well-equipped spa. The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, light, airy and modern with everything you could need and a lovely verandah looking out onto beautiful trees and mountains whilst listening to the birds. A short ride takes you into town to see the sites but it was lovely to return to this "little piece of paradise" in a stunning location every day where I felt like a Princess. I dream of returning there as soon as I am able too.

Lovely location, nice indoor pool and jacuzzi’s. Amazing restaurant and wonderful staff that goes the extra mile. We felt very welcome with our two young kids. Our baby is only 2 months but the team ensured everything needed was there and very relaxed. Anna & Christian did everything to ensure we enjoyed all drinks and food in their restaurant, bar and outside area and Andrea from reception ensured a very welcoming feeling and made time for a small chat and shared recommendations for the area so we went to a nice wine house and bought some wine. The owner ensures to train his team for eye for detail, delivering very high quality and going the extra mile. I can imagine he has to be strict sometimes to deliver this standard. He is on duty 24/7. We hope to visit longer in the future. Thanks team!

Tips only allowed in cash. The team is amazing so please bring cash. With an outside pool I would not leave the property anymore.

We stayed just one night in this hotel, but it was truly an experience. Our room was spacious, with a private jacuzzi, sauna, and a beautiful mountain view. Parking was conveniently located right by the hotel. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant – the food was good for the price and the service was outstanding. Breakfast was great as well. The receptionist was very kind, spoke excellent English, and even accompanied us to our room, wishing us a pleasant stay.

On the downside, the reception felt a bit disorganized. For a hotel that offers such luxurious rooms, I would have expected a higher level of organization at the front desk. Also, while the room was beautiful and luxurious, I would have appreciated more privacy – when entering the jacuzzi, I could see people and cars passing by on the road.

We loved the generous and varied breakfast, which set us up perfectly for the day. The location offers superb views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a beautiful place to relax. The on-site SPA, while compact, was clean and functional, offering a nice way to unwind after sightseeing.

Reaching the hotel by public transport can be a little tricky, especially if you are carrying luggage. Our room, while comfortable, was on the small side and could benefit from some renovation and modern touches to bring it up to the same high standard as the rest of the property.

the hotel was absolutely perfect, big beautiful room with a great balcony. the hotel staff was great, everyone was very friendly. the hotel is located near Cognola, a town near Trento in the mountains of the beautiful northern Italy. the hotel is perfectly accessible by bus from Trento, only a 15 minute ride. with lots of fun activities nearby there was a lot to do during our stay here. the hotel also has a very nice wellness resort with an indoor pool, a sauna, a turkish bath, a relax room with water massage beds and three hot tub jacuzzi’s outside, aswel as some sun beds. we spend our first day here and it was the perfect way to relax after our commute from venice to trento. the hotel restaurant was also amazing, with delicious food and great wine. the breakfast buffet was also very nice!

The stay was wonderful. An old hotel in a modern version. The room was very clean and well-kept. Late arrival possible (we arrived after midnight). Mr. Matteo from the reception helped us with our luggage, told us about the hotel and the area. We needed a place for the car, there was no space outside, but it is possible to book an underground garage. The breakfasts were wonderful, a large selection of salty and sweet breakfasts (including a lot of fruit). At the farewell we got a jar with a sweet delicacy. Location is green and beautiful. I would gladly come back here. The hotel staff was smiling and helpful, which is a huge plus. I think they like their job :)
