I am traveling alone with my little son.I was amazed by this BnB. I travel to 6 new countries every year, also I have been to 22 italian cities, believe me I have been to many BnB before: This was the best not only in Italy but I would say in Europe. The room is super clean,everyday they change towels and they made the bed. They throw away the rubbish. The bathroom is always fresh and clean. Perfect WiFi. Very close to the station and the city center. Also: The breakfast buffet has anything you need to start your day (7:00-10:00) biscuits, croissants, ham,cheese,coffee, milk, juice, cereal, yoghurt,butter,jam, nutella,honey, bread. In the evening you can also make a cup of tea or coffee and eat a biscuit from the jar. Also, everyday you get a bottle of water in your room. The owners are nice people, they have a cute dog and a cat. They live downstairs and the 2nd floor is the breakfast area and the rooms. Thank you for your hospitality. The villa is amazing!

Everything was beyond expectations

My wife and I stayed in the Dafne B&B for four nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was very friendly and very helpful and responded very promptly to our messages prior to arrival. For those arriving by train, the B&B is very convenient and only 10 minutes walk from the station. The host gave directions before we arrived. However, when you descend the stairs from the station platform to the station subway, do not go to the main entrance and up the stairs – go in the opposite direction and follow her instructions. We had the room with an external bathroom. This was not a problem for us – and was much cheaper than an ensuite room and very convenient. The booking website made it quite clear that there was an external bathroom so there should be no misunderstanding or incorrect expectation. The bedroom was quite small and most of room was taken up by an amazing, extra-large and very comfortable bed. I am 6’4” and I could stretch out – a rare luxury! Again, no problem for us, after all, who wants to spend a lot of time in the room when you are in such an interesting and beautiful area! The bathroom was very spacious and had a great shower. The house was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was taken in the dining room – a very good selection of cereals, bread, meats, cheese, boiled eggs, croissants and jam and tea and coffee. It filled us up very nicely to set up a busy day visiting the sights. The host always came and had a little chat and gave advice about where to go. The dining room had a kitchenette where you can make coffee and tea etc at times other than breakfast. There was also a nice terrace outside the dining room which would be very nice in summer. In the dining room were also two very comfortable sofas – this made up for the lack of sitting space in the room – and was a pleasant space to sit, read and drink coffee.

There was nothing to dislike.

The thoroughly renovated house is bright, airy and spacious. The bathrooms are completely modernized. The upstairs breakfast room has indoor or outdoor seating overlooking gardens - the breakfast is good variety, including fresh fruits and pastries and excellent coffee. The beds, pillows and linens are all crisp and comfortable. Location is superb, hop and skip to station or over the bridge to historic areas of Treviso with restaurants and shops. Barbara and Ivano, the owners speak perfect English and Italian and provide maps and reference material for visiting the churches and historic sites. Most importantly, they are beyond kind and helpful to all. I arrived with a friend I had not seen for 3 years. Her memory loss, exacerbated by dislocation, confounded all of us. Barbara and Ivano responded thoughtfully and patiently, with infinite kindness throughout our stay. Bravo and Grazie mille.

Everything was outstanding.

The house is absolutely stunning. The location is perfect for transport and the centre of town. It is a 5 minute walk from treviso central train station and a 10-15min walk into the town centre. It is a 10-minute bus ride to the treviso airport. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay there again. The hosts could not have been any more helpful. Breakfast was lovely. The beds were so comfy. We left our Sons photos in the bnb, and not only did they phone me to let me know, they then dropped them up to me at the airport. Honestly, I was so grateful for their kindness. Would definitely recommend a stay at Dafne B&B 🙂

Absolutely nothing

We really liked the big elegant house - it has a wonderful bright breakfast room and good size terrace. It was right by railway station (bus goes there from airport) and about 15 minutes pleasant walk into the main town. We were a group of 8 and appreciated the lovely breakfast facilities and being able to leave our bags for the day. Great base to explore Treviso, I recommend having one of the rooms off from the breakfast room as that is a nice space to have near your room.

There is a dog at the house just for information (barks at visitors initially) - we like dogs so that was OK for us. We felt rather rushed out in the morning as new guests seemed to already be arriving and the cleaners were promptly in at 10.30am.

Check-in was easy. As I was leaving the next day for an early morning flight, the host Barbara, who was very nice, arranged for me to receive a light breakfast in my room the night before. The bathroom is beautiful, it looks newly renovated, the bedroom is furnished with antique furniture. I slept well. The windows had pull down flyscreens. The exterior of the property is lovely, and gardens very well kept! The property is a real gem, very close to the main station and the Airlink bus stop in Treviso. The property can be reached via a tunnel in just a few minutes. It is not too far from the old town centre.

Just a minor thing for me, there was some distant traffic noise. However, the windows blocked the noise when they were closed.

Very nice house about 15 minutes from the center of the city. Very kind and professional welcome by the owner. Very clean room and bathroom. Super-cold A/C.

I think that given the price, almost 100 euros, it was not great value. It was good, but not great. The beds were small, the room was small, the bathroom was separate, and the room was close to other rooms and the walls were a bit thin. It felt a bit like a hostel/dorm. The breakfast was not really that great. Had we paid between 60 and 70 euros, I would have given this place a score of 10, but 100 was too much for what was on offer.

One of our best accomodations in the past years! Wonderful rooms, not too big place, but very clever solutions to have enough space for a family with 3 children. The hotel is very near to the city center and also to the train station - 10 minutes walk Treviso center, 5 minutes walk to train to Venice. The owners are very kind and nice people, we could solve everything - wash our clothes, put our stuff into fridge, etc.

Tip on reaching the B&B: Don't exit the train station but take the tunnel (yes the same platform type of tunnel) to reach the B&B. Lovely house close to the train station. A bit tight room for 3 people with private bathroom but a very inviting, big & shared 2nd floor dining room where daily breakfast was served. Breakfast consisted of a wonderful spread of cornetto, salume, cheese, yogurt, fruits, milk, cappucino, etc. You can also use it for your DIY meals (lunch and dinner). It's equipped with a microwave, a kettle, a fridge, utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, etc. If the weather is nice you can even go out onto the large balcony (it was windy & rainy during our stay). There are also 2 small couches in that room as well. Rooms were cleaned daily, beds made, and new towels supplied. There's a refillable bottle of water inside the room with drinking glasses. I have nothing but positive experience thanks to Ivano (& Barbara & her dog), the lovely hosts who made us feel like we were right at home during our stay. I recommend 100%!!!

I travelled with my husband and 12 year old and we absolutely enjoyed our stay with Barbara and Ivano. They made us feel at home right away and gave us lots of privacy. Our room was quiet and others guests were also all respectful. We loved meeting Wendy the dog and Kentucky the cat. Our room was cosy with a large and clean bathroom. Breakfast from served in the first floor communal dining room from 07:00 to 10:00, and there's a variety of cereal, croissants, bread, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurts, tea, coffee. The walk from the B&B to Treviso Centrale is 5 mins. From here you can take regular trains to Venice (35mins, around £3 one way). You can also take the Airport Link bus (red) from in front of the train station to the airport and vice versa. Journey time is 10 mins and cost is €4 per person (cash only when we travelled). Barbara and Ivano also kindly allowed us to play their beautiful German grand piano. It was a wonderful experience. Staying with them felt like staying with family. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Adding some fresh fruit and vegetables to the breakfast spread would have enhanced the experience.
