The location of Baia Serena which is perched on a hill overlooking the sea could not be more perfect. There are stunning views of Sorrento, Vesuvius and lots of the wonderful Italian coastline. It's absolutely breathtaking. Giuseppe and Rosa are the perfect hosts. They go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay and share lots of helpful information about the locality. Chalets are basic but spotlessly clean. Everyone we met was friendly and cheerful. It's a perfect spot to sit and relax and enjoy the natural beauty. There are lots of birds in the trees and little lizards running around. Our chalet was amongst the fig trees and we were lucky to have a few ripe enough to sample! It is very hilly and there are steps to get to most chalets and the restaurant/bar area - not somewhere to go if you have any mobility issues. We loved our stay and would have no hesitation in going back. Thank you Giuseppe, Rosa and family.

Not much not to like! The parking and road through the place is very tight. If you are driving here, a small car is the best option. We managed ok with a Renault Clio. Mosquitoes were annoying but you can't do much about those other than stock up on bug spray and citronella candles!

Baia Serena is an absolutely lovely and cozy place — peaceful, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. The pool is amazing, the surroundings are serene, and the view is simply spectacular. The check-in and check-out process was fast and easy, and we even received an unexpected upgrade, which made our stay even more special. Giuseppe was a wonderful host — kind, attentive, and always paying attention to the smallest details to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay near Sorrento!

We had an incredible stay at Baia Serena! Our host, Giuseppe, and his family were exceptionally warm, helpful, and hospitable, making us feel right at home. The view from the hotel is stunning and unbelievably beautiful, a true highlight of our trip. The food was delicious and very affordable, adding to the overall great experience. The clean and comfortable accommodations offered a fantastic sight that we thoroughly enjoyed. Additionally, the convenience of the bus stop being just 50 meters away made it easy to explore the surrounding area. I definitely recommend Baia Serena to anyone looking for a memorable stay. Wonderfull place, really Beautiful view from The swimmingpool, restaurant and cottage terrasse. And very helpfull and friendly owners, good atmosphere. Everything was very clean. It was not at all a problem to take a bus to The hotel, it passes by 100 meters from The hotel every hour,Vico Equense to Montechiaro (2nd last stop). There is a Beach in Vico Equense, and a direct bus from there to The airport. A place to go back to.

Loved the pool and the beautiful views. The owners were lovely and helpful. The Air con was a god send.

It's very high up from the main town, there's a bus stop outside, however last bus is at 21:30 and be careful as the taxis try and rip you off.

We had a wonderful stay at Baia Serena. The location and views were absolutely phenomenal! Giuseppe and Rosa were incredibly friendly and helpful, greeting us warmly every morning. The cafe has a wonderful terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee with beautiful views. Extremely tranquil environment. A perfect place for a relaxing escape.

the transport was limited, but worth it for the beautiful rural location. If you drive it would be even more amazing but we managed with just the bus and train.

Lovely friendly people running the place.

We hired a large car and didn’t realise just how narrow the road was into the properly. It’s quirky. Don’t go there if you can’t walk up a few steps or up small hills. It’s the people running the place that make it, to be honest. Pool was lovely. Main road is very very busy. We just didn’t know the area. Would love to go back another time. Just with a smaller car.

The views from our room and from the terrace of the restaurant was fantastic. Dinner at the restaurant watching the sun set over the sorrento coast was brilliant. Joseph and his family who run the place are super friendly and helpful

Access to car parking was a little tricky but that was only because my car rental agency messed up and gave me a huge mercedes instead of the car I had requested. By the second day I got used to navigating the corners however

The views from the property were excellent, and the pool are was very nice. The accommodation is basic, but perfectly adequate. The staff were friendly and very approachable as well.

The site was quite hilly, but that is no fault of anyone, of course. It is quite difficult to park if you are taking a car, and parking generally on the Amalfi Coast is very limited. I would advise not taking a car and using public transport wherever possible. The buses run every hour from Baia Serena into town, so it is quite convenient. The trains to Sorrento are also very frequent

Giuseppe and his family are wonderful hosts and Baia Serena is in a stunning location overlooking Sorrento. We felt like we had struck gold. The chalets are comfortable and well equipped. The pool is on the edge of the cliff overlooking the bay and provides lots of shady spots to doze in the afternoon sun. The restaurant terrace offers excellent views across the bay. There are delicious fresh pastries and good coffee available for breakfast and a wide choice of meals in the evening. We wish we had booked to stay longer!!
