The property is greatly located and currently has Cirque de soleil as the show. It is close to almost everything in Waikiki, walking distance to where you want to go is maximum 10 minutes. The staff are also fantastic. I had to extended twice since my awful airline (Jetstar) continually cancelled my flight home and they could not have been more accommodating. The housekeeping staff are the best you will experience, such lovely people. I have been to Hawaii a number of times and this is absolutely the best hotel I have stayed at. Highly recommend.

The elevators are awful. They need to work on the settings or something haha. There is often a huge line in the lobby trying to get an elevator. They are so slow and often sit at the top floors doing nothing when people are lined up 30 deep trying to get to their rooms.

The web site for the hotel is very much out of date. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Please update the website. I had asked for a very high room almost two to three months before coming. I meant high like the 20 up rooms. We got the 8 th floor. I asked and asked about being higher but he was adamant that was as high we could go. I gave up. Really gave up and we accepted the 8 th floor deciding what is the point of asking and telling the reason of asking. Hubby said just don't bother. So 8th floor overlooking the big hotel in front of us, glimpse of the sea between and the road noise. Putting us up high to be able to see the sunset and the sea would of made our long awaited holiday perfect but no...we were told no. Very very sad about this.

The above...simply been given a high up room would of made our holiday.

Location is central to everything, the room was very comfortable and very very clean, the beach was a two minute walk from the building. The Maui Brewing company has great food and is in the hotel, the pool cafe is great and you can order from the chair you are in. Pool and beach towels are accessed by your room key. There is also a hotel shop with souvenirs, drinks ice creams etc. ABC stores on either side of the hotel and Macy's, The Cheesecake Factory and Royal Hawaiian Chopping Centre all with two second walk of the hotel.

The noise from the AC in the building next door meant we could not open the door for fresh air at all. Don't stay on the Diamond head view side, it's too noisy. We had stayed here 12 months ago on the opposite side of the hotel and our view was of the Pink Palace and the hotel pool, much quieter and you can leave the door open for fresh air.

Great location, middle of Waikiki, straight opposite the Cheesecake Factory. Clean and modern.

Had a few noise issues this visit. A band playing one night at the pool. Fixing a balcony another day, making a lot of noise. Carpet in our room could have done with a good clean. Our housekeeper was inconsistent with the cleaning of our room. Didn’t leave correct towels etc, left our nightwear on the floor after making the beds.

The room was big for Honolulu standards and was well laid out, especially the bathroom with a separate sink area and then shower/toilet area with a good shower. The room was cleaned lovely every day too and the cleaning staff were great. The location is exceptional. And the ambience was very relaxed and holiday mood. Staff were pleasant on the few interactions we had with them. You got a discount with the next door Maui bar which is worth going to.

The gym was tiny and with no windows, I guess when you are on holiday you don't use the gym much but we would have used it more if it had more space and some natural daylight. We ended up using the pool most days and the towel service was excellent, and the vibe was lovely around the pool. Having the cafe there was great too and if they have their great staff on service then they will come out to the deck chairs and take orders. The pool is small and there are not many deck chairs around it. They cannot increase the size of the pool, I assume, but if they are allowed more deck chairs they should do it (including removing the 'paid premium' deck chairs which nobody used and which took up 25% of the usable area.

The location was amazing! The cafe on the lobby level had really good breakfast.

The up charge for room seemed like a pocket gouge. I booked an ocean view room that wasn’t ready when we arrived but somehow the deluxe ocean view room was available so we “upgraded” but the room or the view wasn’t any different or better and there’s a huge building blocking the ocean view they don’t show or mention in the online photos or room selection. I also notified the staff we were celebrating a birthday before our arrival and they confirmed that it would be added to our reservation but at arrival or throughout the stay they didn’t do or offer any special niceties. The cleaning staff was always nice, front desk and cafe was hit and miss.

Located across the road from Cheesecake factory. Amazing location. Very central. Great staff.

Tried to contact Reception / front desk as well as housekeeping for over an hour. Left a message as well as nobody got back to me.

It’s in an excellent location if you want to be close to Waikīkī beach and all the bustle of that area. You cross the road and head down a little walkway and you are at the beach. It’s clean and comfortable and the staff are super friendly in the hotel.

We were on the fourteenth floor and the air conditioners outside make a racket 24/7. If you are sensitive to noise, ask for a higher floor.

The location is great, right in the centre of Waikiki, 5 minutes to the beach and next to all the shops. Despite this the room was quiet at night. One of the comfiest beds we've ever stayed in and the room was kept incredibly clean. The hotel itself and the rooms were modern and felt very new and fresh. The cafe attached to the hotel/pool is great, with a cheap happy hour and good atmosphere, and the Maui Brewing Co bar and restaurant also attached was one of our favourite meals/drink spots.

As there is a twice daily acrobatic show hosted in the hotel, the lobby, lifts and escalators are carnage around 5-8pm with non-guests. This was frustrating and a little stressful to wade through at times. The pool is quite small with only about 20 sunbeds which did fill up but we just went to the beaches.

Being a first time visitor to Hawaii, the room was pleasant and clean, the staff were friendly…

I did have a few like stains on my sheets but it was tolerable and smelled clean, only thing was no microwave for the price they were charging, I thought all hotels have atleast a small microwave, this was the first nice hotel I didn’t not have a microwave to use to reheat food saved..
