Beautiful facilities/location and the staff was amazing! Lots of fun activities offered and food was great.

Our room was comfortable with a great pool view but could have been cleaner… nothing major but behind the beds was filled with dust and there was splatter on many walls of some unknown red substance. We loved the iguanas/lizards that lived on the property. They were fun to watch & imposed no threat. However, their droppings were often on the walkways/lounge chairs for days at a time. We were surprised that all the surfaces were not cleaned/hosed down each night/early morning. We know they weren’t, because we often sat in the same location where there were droppings and noticed after days that they were still there. We just chose different chairs or watched where we walked. This issue would not prevent us from going back. However, from a hygiene perspective it’s not too sanitary.

Great amenities, the pool and the access to the private beach was fantastic. The hotel is quite old, but everything was in very good conditions, beds were comfortable, sofa bed was pretty good compared to other hotels. The Promenade Bar next to the pool was great, we didn’t need to go out for lunch, since they had great options for lunch, very good salads and huge sandwiches, for very reasonable prices. Plenty of parking spaces. Everything was really great. Family environment, very appreciated.

Room: We had a 1 bedroom suite with living room, the only thing that I would change is the carpet, looks old. The decor is also outdated. Beach area: Lounge chairs and basic Cabana rentals at the beach were a bit too expensive, the combo for a queen cushioned lounger with cabana was $150 per day, almost nobody rented them, I would recommend them to reduce the price so more guests can rent them and they can sell more. The umbrellas were quite small and the individual lounge chairs didn’t have any cushions so not very attractive to rent. Pool: it was great. But after 5:30pm they don’t have towels since the Tiki closed.

Everything was great until we checked out and discovered we were overcharged for the beach equipment. Luigi, I believe was his name, told our group that each lawn chair was $15 and the umbrella was also $15. To our surprise, our folio was charged $32 for the umbrella rental. Gabby at the front desk said she would have her manager speak with the staff at the beach rental area, and we might receive a credit on my card. We’ll wait and see if the hotel follows through. We feel it’s not good for the staff to quote us one thing and be charged another. We felt it was frustrating to be quoted one price and charged another, and we believe the front desk should have resolved the discrepancy on the spot rather than questioning the issue.

The location close to the port is exceptional and serves as a brilliant base for trips around Ft Lauderdale, Miami and pre cruise. There’s always something to do and to watch. The resort and its huge private beach have a unique atmosphere that makes for a great stay. It’s everything you need and in a perfect relaxing way. We’ve now been four times and don’t look elsewhere when we visit. Immaculate housekeeping and great facilities complement the property and the staff are so welcoming. Thanks to Joan, Jaime, Sarah and the whole family for the hospitality…

It’s all good if you appreciate a homely relaxing place to stay.

The resort is stunning! You don’t need to go anywhere. Everything you need can be found at the resort. The beach is so close, pickle ball, mini golf, pools, restaurant's, swing set, and many other activities for all ages. The rooms are huge. The beds are very comfortable and the overall room is very relaxing. Rooms have coffee machines, mini fridges and plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases. The staff and people we met at the resort are super nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this resort. I will be going back.

I had a delightful stay at this hotel! The views were absolutely stunning—especially watching the cruise ships depart from the beach. It felt like I was living in a postcard! The beds were so incredibly comfortable that I half-expected to wake up in a five-star dreamland, complete with fluffy clouds and breakfast served by unicorns. Overall, everything was great, but I did expect a bit more for the price. It was a pleasant experience, but I think there’s room for improvement to match the premium cost. Maybe a complimentary cocktail served by a friendly parrot? Just a thought! All in all, I left with a smile and a few great memories—just with a little more room for sparkle!

I found the hotel to be quite pricey for what it offered—let's just say my wallet felt lighter than a feather after checking in! Unfortunately, the pool was not clean during my stay, which was disappointing. I half expected to see a family of ducks moving in for a permanent vacation! Additionally, my interaction with the staff was minimal; I only spoke to someone during check-in, which felt a bit like a game of hide-and-seek—except I was the only one seeking. Overall, I expected a better experience given the cost. If I wanted to pay a premium for a lack of service and a questionable pool, I could have just stayed home and let my kids turn the bathtub into a splash zone!

This hotel has a Caribbean Island type of vibe. I did not feel like I was in Florida. The resort is family friendly and the staff were welcoming. My family and I stayed in a one bedroom King Suite and the amenities in the room were great; it was like having a mini apartment. I loved having a Keurig machine to make my morning coffee. I will definitely return when I visit Florida again.

The prices for renting the cabanas and umbrellas on the beach are expensive, especially if you’re spending a couple of days.

This property is absolutely beautiful So peaceful and relaxing

I have stayed many times over the last 16 years. This is the first time that there was a charge for beach chairs. They always had complementary sand chairs, this time they charged 10$ per sand chair. When you stay in the beach you should have access to a chair. Cabanas and umbrellas? Definitely a charge, not a chair that was always complementary. It won’t stop me from returning. I love the resort. Just FYI for returning or new guests.

Loved our stay here for three nights - comfortable but a little dated. Rooms were expensive but we were there during spring break. We didn’t realize how far away from everything it was and spent a fortune on Uber (next time we will rent a car.) However, saying that, it is a really cool spot, especially being on the beach. The staff at the poolside bar were wonderful and took really good care of us. The buffet breakfast set us up for the day and again, staff here were awesome. Loved the orchids and the iguana’s. We will come back.

The staff was kind and efficient, room was very comfortable, the food was good and the adult pool was very relaxing. The place was not crowded at all

Drinks and beach gear (chairs, umbrellas)were pricey, you can't bring your own food ,drinks or chairs down to the beach. The pizza looked and tasted as if it was a frozen pizza. Toward the end of the week it was extremely difficult to go into the ocean because of all the seaweed that had washed up on shore.
